    Dear Experts
Please let me know  how to  Transfer article master from SAP R/3 To External Systems(Futura) or text file Using IDOCs.
    thanks

    Hello,
Since you want to transfer Article Master, it should be a Retail System. So you should use Message Type ARTMAS. For fullbuild, you can use transaction WDBM and for changes, you can use WDBU.  For changes, you can enable change pointers for required fields using BD64.

  • HT1766 I wish to move my iTunes library from my PC to an external drive to make room on my PC. How do I do this?

I wish to move my iTunes library from my PC to an external drive to make room on my PC. How do I do this?

    The following may help: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1364
Note the following fine print therein:
Note: If you move your library to an external drive, you'll need to power up and connect the drive before starting iTunes. If you don't, iTunes will prompt you to either locate the library or to create a new library (which will result in an empty library). No matter what, it's always a good idea to have a backup of the media you have in iTunes.

  • How do you import photos from a library on an external drive to the current library running in iPhoto?

How do you import photos from a library on an external drive to the current library running in iPhoto? I have a few different pictures in each library and would like to have all my pictures in both libraries. The library on the external drive is my backup. I would appreciate any help.

Depends on exactly what you want to do.
Just move some of the Photos? FIle -> Export from one and export the shots to the Finder. Then import them to the other.
    This User Tip
    https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-4921
has details of the options in the Export dialogue.
Move the photos and all versions and metadata: use iPhoto Library Manager it's the only way to do this while preserving everything. Merge two Libraries into one?
If you have Aperture 3.3 or later and iPhoto 9.3 or later you can merge libraries with Aperture.
Otherwise the only way to merge Libraries is with the paid ($20) version of iPhoto Library Manager

You can use a program like Carbon Copy Cloner.  It will clone your HD to the external.  The format is the same as your internal drive and you can boot from it using Option key at boot time.

  • Can photos be transferred back and forth from/to iPhoto and an external drive? If so, how?

Can photos be transferred back and forth from/to iPhoto and an external drive? If so, how?

When in iPhoto for iOS you can share your photo to iTunes and then connect your iPad to your computer and use the file sharing window to move the photo to any connected hard disk. Sharing to iTunes is the only way to maintain original file size when sharing a photo in iPhoto for iOS.

  • How can I import images from my camera to my external drive instead of Mac, but still use IPhoto?

I would like to preserve space on my new Mac and import photos from my camera to my external drive instead of my Mac, while still being able to use Iphoto. Not sure how to specify this.

Move your Library to the Extnernal Disk -
Make sure the drive is formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
    1. Quit iPhoto
    2. Copy the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
    3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
    4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.
    Then import as normal.

  • New user...how do you drag or move or copy a file or folder from the desktop to an external drive?  I have tried dragging and copy/pasting.

new user...how do you drag or move or copy a file or folder from the desktop to an external drive?  I have tried dragging and copy/pasting.

My guess the problem you are running into is the drive is formatted for a PC as NTFS. OS X can read files from NTFS however it cannot write to it. Check the formatting on the drive, if it's NTFS then it should be reformatted to Mac OS Extended (Journaled), you can use Disk Utility to do this.
If you still have a PC and want to share the EHD with the PC and Mac please read MacWorld's Share an external drive between a Mac and a PC article.

That's the purpose of a sync using a computer with iTunes.

  • Can't transfer purchased tunes from Mac to PC on iPod.

I have 2 computers... a Mac and a PC. I've purchased various iTunes on each comter. I want to transfer the purchased tunes on the Mac to the PC.
After I copy the tunes from my Mac to the iPod, I connect it to the PC and click on 'Transfer Purchases' but nothing happens. The tunes don't show up anywhere.
    Any ideas would be appreciated!

Make sure your PC is authorized for the iTunes account you're transferring to it.
Click Store > Authorize Computer, put in your account information, and click "authorize." Wait for it to say "authorization successful" and then give it another go.
Also, you want to make sure iTunes on your PC is recognizing the iPod... it won't if your iPod is formatted for a Mac. If you want to check this, the summary tab in iTunes will tell you your iPod's format. You can also find out from the iPod by going to Settings > About. If the last item in the menu says "Format Windows" then you're formatted for a PC (which can be read by a PC and a Mac). If the last item in the menu is your model number, then you're formatted for a Mac, which cannot be read by a PC.

  • How to transfer I tunes from old windows lap top to new Mac lap top

How do you transfer your i tunes account from an old windows lap top to your new Mac?

Drag and drop copy the iTunes folder to a external hard drive on Windows, then take it to the Mac and use iTunes there to import it.
If you want to read/write the external drive between Mac's and PC's, right click on the drive and format it exFAT or FAT in Windows, not NTFS.
Some Mac's can read NTFS, but not write to that format as it's proprietary.
When you format the drive, all data will be erased on it, so make sure before you do so.

  • HT1751 I cannot seem to get through this process.  I believe I have copied the library from my old to the external drive, and then to my newer MacBook Pro; but the result is the same number of songs that were originally transferred via the transfer proces

I've tried for a few days to figure out why I cannot be sure that my iTunes back-up to an external drive has "worked" or not.  I finally decided to try to transfer the content from the external drive to my newer MacBook Pro.  I already knew that the number of songs on the newer laptop were fewer than what are on my older one.  (I basically only use my older MacBook Pro now for iTunes.)  But today, still had not luck.  There is still a difference of over 100 songs appearing on the iTunes of the newer laptop than are on the older one.
I'm pretty sure that I just don't undertand the Apple article very well:  "ITunes: back up your iTunes library by copying to an external hard drive."
This would not be so frustrating for me did I not have over 3000 songs, imported from CDs that I myself own, in my old laptop.  The thought of redoing this import is, well, tiring to say the least.

Go through the below forum with similar issue and follow the process mentioned by "Macjack" in the beginning.
