HT4528 Applications will not download to my iphone 4s

Applications will not download. They are on home screen but are transparent an say waiting under them. Has been two days now an have not installed yet. Also on my iTunes account my music will not download to the iPhone.

If the icon of the app draws on gray probably it's trying to update to a newer version of the app, you must be connected to the internet to complete the process, if you can not continue with your downloads, check the memory of your phone and be sure that you still have enough space to install the apps. Try to do a backup of your videos and photos on your computer and delete some files from yor phone. If you have enough space and you are connected to the internet then clic on the gray icon and the title will change to "paused" then clic it again and will try to reconnect to the server to resume the download. I have an application package that will not download. I keep seeing "Calling back with empty distribution points list" in the LocationServices.log. I also see CTM job {XXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXX} suspended in the Content TransferManager.log.
So the issue is the client can't find the content on the distribution point I'm guessing. I have confirmed that the package has been distributed to the distribution point. I have removed the package and added it back to the DP. I have also checked the Boundaries
and I think they are set up correctly. I have boundaries that are setup as IP ranges. Those boundaries have been added to a Boundary Group. Under my distribution point I added my boundary group to the distribution point. I then created
a distribution point group that contains all of my distribution points. I would like to see if anyone has any other suggestions for settings to check. I searched Google and did not fine anything very helpful.

Application will not load on 2nd iphone after 3.0

I have 2 iphones, before the 3.0 update I was able to manage all my apps on one computer and sync it with both iphones.
Now The 2nd iphone will not load from the computer even though they are there and the sync preferences are set to sync them.

Some updates to applications will not download

The following will not update on the original IPad:
Kindle and the Bible.
I have tried repeatably to update and it doesn't work. I spoke with customer service got some assistance but the rep sounded snotty.

Do you have the relevant iOS version on the iPad needed for the updates?
Are you signed into the correct account for these apps?
Do the downloads start and then stall?
Maybe some more details would help ...

IOS 8 will not download to my iPhone 6

Hi folks! I have been trying to download iOS 8.2 to my iPhone 6 and my iPad 2 since it came out. In both cases the file downloads all the way and then the computer or device takes a few minutes installing. Then it tells me that an error occurred during the download and I would need to restart the download (no error code given). This has happened for both devices both using iTunes on my computer and trying to download it directly to the device. The same thing happens in all cases. Anyone else dealing with this and have you found a solution?

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that you are not able to update to the most current version of iOS on either your iPhone or iPad. In this situation, I would suggest placing your devices in recovery mode to run the update from your computer. This will only update and install the newest version of iOS and not affect your data.
If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch doesn't respond or doesn't turn on - Apple Support
Make sure that you have iTunes 12 or later on your computer.
Put your device in recovery mode.
When you get the option to restore or update, select Update. This will reinstall iOS without erasing your data.

I have been sent a free download for Lumosity and it will not download to my iphone. what can I try??

While they make their apps for mobile devices, they also have everything online in their web site. It normally requires an account, for a fee (there are also free basic accounts with limited features). There is nothing to download as far as I can see.
What *****, IMO, is it seems you have to actually sign up for a free account to even see their fees for the full accounts - a horrible and cheesy marketing ploy as far as I'm concerned. Any truly honest business should post their fees up front and easily found by anyone interested.
Even the iPhone app is free, but requires a free account creation to use, and then a for fee account to unlock "full" features.

Neither will mine. I have restored the iphone 4s and that doesn't help. I upgraded on my iPad also, and that works fine. I just can't get in the store on my phone. Checked my password, that is correct. Did a chat last night with a guy from Apple, and nothing he told me worked. Have an appt with at store with genius, maybe the can come up with something.

Itunes app will not download after 1+ months

So I downloaded an app to itunes (that I paid for thank you very much in case anyone thought I stole it) and it will not download onto my iphone 4. I have downloaded other apps from itunes that have downloaded successfully. Every time I try to download it, the error message that comes up says that I need to update my iphone software. To add to this frustration I just became a member of the Apple Iphone Family by upgrading to an iphone about two months ago so I mean come on, how much newer does my iphone software need to be if I just got the phone two months ago?? And to add to the frustration, I cannot call from another phone to solve this problem eventhough apple care says I need to so I can solve this problem.
So help a guy out here Apple Family. How do I solve this problem without doing a system restore and wiping out all my music and files?

Well, what version iOS do you have? What version does the software require? Have you tried contacting the developer?
Doing a restore only deletes them from your device. Simply re-installing them via iTunes solves the problem of "wiping out all my music and files"

ITunes will not sync songs onto iPhone, troubleshooting methods not working

Simply put, songs will not download onto my iPhone. I have tried every method that I could think of to solve this:
-restarting phone and mac
-updating iTunes
-taking off all the music from the phone and redownloading
-rechecking the little check thing that says I want that song
-restoring my phone
-going onto the individual tab to sync and syncing from there(which leads to a whole other problem, because that deletes songs(story for another thread))
-manually dragging songs onto my phone icon dropbox thingy
-making sure the songs are the proper files
... and still nothing has worked.
When I go on my phone menu when its plugged into iTunes, and then go to the 'On Device' section, it shows that the songs are there, but they are faded out with this little circle thing next to them(I don't know if this is significant).
I'm at my wits end, I just don't know what to do. I don't understand why iTunes is refusing to do something as simple as sync songs.
Any ideas? Thank you for any help you can provide!

UPDATE:
I finally figured it out (though I'm not sure this counts as 'figuring it out').
So, what worked for me was unchecking the check box thing next to the song and syncing the phone. After the sync--behold!--, the songs were in my phone. I don't know if this is another glitch or not, but I'm running with it.
I wanted to post the answer so that other people who may have had this issue can hopefully resolve it.

Itunes will not sync music to iphone

Since downloading IOS 5.1.1 my selected music in iTunes will not download to my iphone 3GS. Never had this problem before. The itunes library shows all the albums I want to sync checked off and even when I connect the iphone with the sync cable the songs will not be synced. I've looked at all settings and everything looks the same as it always has. I did get a new iphone 3GS recently to replace a stolen one but all settings remain the same other then the new software 5.5.1.

Somehow this was related to me having to purchase a new 3GS when my other was stolen. At the same time we bought a new iMac. When I set the iMac up for my wife I set up a 2nd user account for myself. In that account I synced my new 3GS. It had all my music on there. My Macbook, where I thought the music files were still residing, had music files which were "grayed" out. When I tried to play a song from that extensive list I got an error message that the song could not be played because the "original" file could not be found. So I turned on "File Sharing" on both computers and when my library showed up on my Macbook I copied and pasted all the songs to my Macbook's music library. I then had to go back and delete all the duplicated "grayed out" non-working files. I then synced my iphone to the new library and "voila" the music files had migrated.
There might have been an easier way to do this but I couldn't find it...and at least this worked!
