So I am wondering if it is worth the update if I have to loose everything on my phone ! Secondly one of the apps I deleted is the facebook app and now I tried to put it back on and it will not work! So now I have deleted stuff and can't get it back and still cannot do update!

It requries 3 gb to update over the air.
If you connect to iTunes you can backup the phone, then update the phone through iTunes instead, where it doesnt require 3 gb free on the phone.

The iCloud storage is meant for your backup, you do not get more space on iPhone.
You can by connecting to computer iTunes for update then you will not have space problem

You should never update without making sure that everything is on your computer.
If your iphone is recovery mode, then everything on it is already lost.
If you are using your iphone as designed, then everything is on your computer, just sync it back.

There was a glitch. The screen is telling you to cnnect the iPod to your computer and restore via iTunes. See:

If problem try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I tried what you said but it still didn't help.
It only affects some of my apps other apps are fine.
For some reason in some of my apps the iPad, time and battery icons get bigger on the top of my screen so I can't see the top of the app page which effects some of the games and applications.

After i updated to ios6, apps were asking for access to my iphotos . i said no to my first one before i realized i should have said yes. How do i fix this?? i tried re-installing the app and nothing!!! Very frustrated!! HELP PLEASE!!!

i updated to ios 6 on the 19th. i went into echofon and tried to save a photo and it asked me to grant echofon access to my photos. Without thinking, I said no. I realize now that inorder to save photos, I have to grant this access but I can't figure it out. I have deleted the app and re-installed it. I have searched the web and everything possible place on the phone itself hoping i could change it or something. But I can't find anything. Their website is of no help at all. You have no choice now. Unless you want a brick for an iPad. After you restore to factory settings you can restore from your backup ..... And you do backup don't you? I would never update the iOS software without backing up first. After you restore from the backup, sync with iTunes again and you should be OK. Assuming that you do sync with iTunes .....

First of all - you are running the proper iOS in order to use the latest version of Pages - correct? You need iOS 6 now.
If so ....See if this helps. Maybe Pages will open after you try this.
Quit the Pages app completely and restart the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Or ..... Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
If that didn't help backup and send your files into iTunes with file sharing.
You could lose all of your files if you delete and reinstall the app. That is precisely why you should backup your iPad and send your files into iTunes using files sharing on the iPad. Do you backup or use file sharing?
Backup your iPad, send the files from the iPad into iTunes using file sharing and then delete the app and reinstall it.

Are you sure you don't see them when you swipe to the left?
I actually had only one icon showing on the second page .... and then all of the rest showed up on pages 3, 4, etc.
The Apple Music app is a red box with a white note
Weather app is a blue box with a white cloud and yellow sun
Did you try resetting or restarting the device?

If the machine was upgraded to Lion 10.7.x by the original owner then you bought an illegal license of Lion and also of any other applications that the seller said came pre-installed, this assumes the seller did not include original install media. In that case you need to contact the seller for the original install DVDs that came with the machine re-install up to Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and then purchase Mountain Lion ($20) and the applications you want or need. If the seller cannot come up with the original install discs then you can buy them from a nominal cost from AppleCare..
