unfortunately no, a million people are attempting to update their phones right now, and thus activate them. Patience will have to suffice.

It sounds like you're seeing an alert message when opening Mail on your iOS devices. Do you have multiple email accounts setup on the devices? I keep getting a message on my iPhone?
It's really annoying me!
It only started happening 2 days ago.
When I plug my iPhone 4 in to charge, either through the wall or plug the USB into the laptop, I'll get the same message, " Charging is not supported with this accessory". and it'll stop charging.
I don't understand why. It'll work eventually but I have to pull it out and in a few times and not touch the phone until it's fully charged otherwise it'll stop charging and that message will pop up again.
I put my phone on charge last night and went to sleep. Woke up this morning and my phone was off! Dead! It didn't charge because this happened to it. I don't get what it is.
Could it be I need a new charger? Because to be honest, the part that slides into the plug is bent a little and has rust and dirt inside it but I can't clean it because I can't get inside it. And the lead where the part is where you plug into the phone is a bit messed up but I haven't had a problem with it since 2 days ago.
I've searched up this question by other users and some of them are having this problem even after buying a new charger lead for it. So I don't think it's the charger, but maybe it could be. Idk..The nearest apple store is an hour away from me and I'm not insured. Plus this phone is recently new. I payed £120 for a replacement one because my other one was smahed to peaces so I don't understand why it's doing this. But they didn't give me a new charger though. I've had the same charger since I first got my iPhone beginning of 2011.
Could it be that? Please help!Have you cleaned out the dock connector of any fluff or junk in there?

Help! I recorded odometer readings on my work calender on my iphone 4S all last year and now my calenders are blank from September2012 and earlier. It is backed up to icloud. What happened and can I get that information back somehow?
Go to iCloud.com, select the calendar.
Is the information listed in the calendar?
If it is, it should be syncing to the device.
If it is not, then that information is gone. -
I have made numerous attempt to download the ios6 on my iPad 3 and it starts but then stops and gives me an error message. Someone suggested that it could be done on my main computer in iTunes but that has to be updated and I don't know how to tell if mine has been updated or not. How do I get this installed? You could have more 5 computers authorized if you ever, for example, reformatted a hard drive or replaced a hard drive without deauthorizing the computer first. You won't lose any data. Mistimp is correct, they can't tell you which computers are authorized. -
this has happened at least 4-5 times. i have always in the past been able to update with no issues

That doesn't mean we can't help without a crash id. :-) No crashes here, but I'm also on Snow Leopard and using Firefox 3.6.6.
Are you using Firefox 3.6.6? The most common cause of crashes on Mac is the Flash plugin. Are you using the latest version of Flash? You can check at http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/plugincheck/
Do you remember any specific circumstances about when the crash occurred? What sites you were on? -

If it is under warranty, bring it in to Apple Store, most of our suggestions, comes from the Apple support site..
Besides Restoring the iPod, there are winsocks which have conflict with iTunes, perhaps, disable those plugins and disconnect the Internet and stop antivirus, while you are Restoring or Syncing the iPod. -
My old PC died and I got a new one. I was able to back up the old PC and downloaded my iTunes library on the new PC. I keep getting a message saying: "This computer is no longer authorized to play purchased items that are on this iPod. Would you like to authorize this computer for the items purchased from the iTunes store?" I have authorized the new PC, but it continues to ask me over and over, and if I authorize it again, it tells me I already authorized. So frustrating! I deactivated the old PC and activated the new one.
Also, I purchased a song from iTunes store and while it shows in my library on the PC, it won't download to the iPod. Why won't the new song download to the iPod?
