HT4528 how do I reinstall an app that has been deleted

I mistakingly deleted the green message box from my screen which I assume means the imessage is deleted.  how do i get it back?

Default apps are part of the iOS and cannot be deleted.  Search all home screens and all folders and/or search for it with Spotlight, that will tell you what folder it's in.
If not found, Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout.

Not unless the developer/Apple offer it again in the App store.  You can only get apps from the App store.

  • HT1040 how do I edit a calendar that has been deleted

I made the order of a calendar and once cpmpleted the order I deleted the project but after that received an email from apple saying that my order has been called due to problems on the font
so now I need to edit it, how do I do it?

Restore the backup copy of the iPhoto Library from a time  just before you deleted the calendar from the library. If you don't have a backup then you'll have to recreate the calendar.
In the future you could do as I do and have a separate library just for calendars, each years, etc.  I use the paid version of  iPhoto Library Manager to copy albums of photos from my working library to my calendar library. I do the same for each book I create.

  • How do i re-licence music that has been deleted fr...

I'm on a 24 month cwm sub and some of the albums i have downloaded in the past are no longer available on Ovi Music. This causes the licence check to fail when copying to my 5800
I am entitled to this music "for life" so please can you confirm how I can get my licences back?
(The albums play fine on the PC and I have not changed my CWM device)

I know this is quite an old thread, but I thought it might be better to bump it rather than start a new one.
I have a similar problem to the other users.  I downloaded quite a lot of music on a, now expired, comes with music subscription, and I have recently been trying to make sure that all the licenses are valid.  In most cases the music either played straight away, relicensed OK, or it was possible to re-download the music.  In a small number of cases however it has not been possible re-download the music, and all these cases it is clear that the album in question is no longer available on Nokia music (either because the album has been superseded by a later version, or it has gone completely).
All but one of the missing albums are shown in my download history, but when I press the download button (using Nokia Music Player) nothing happens.  Searching the music store has verified that the albums in question have either been removed or superseded.
Cleary, I would like to know if there is a way of getting this music back (it is, as I understand a license for life), so a response from Nokia support on this topic would be nice.

  • How do I receive an app that has been gifted to me?

I am pretty sure that you receive it through an email that your account was set to, but I no longer used my email and cannot access it. Is there another way to receive gifted apps?
I tried setting my account to a new email, but I have received no emails about a gifted app.

If the gift was sent to an email address that you can no longer access, then you cannot receive the gift. The person who sent you the gift may be able to resend it to an email address you can access:

  • How to re-install iPhone apps that have been deleted on the iPhone?

    Hi,
I've installed a number of iPhone apps onto my iPhone via iTunes. I've then deleted some of them on my iPhone. I now want one of the deleted apps back. It's still visible in my iTunes Applications, as well as in Music/iTunes/Mobile Applications.
How do I get it re-installed into my iPhone? So far I've tried:
    - redownloading the app from the iTunes store, and selecting Buy and pressing OK to re-install
    - double-clicking on the .ipa file in Music/iTunes/Mobile Applications
After each of the above I resync my iPhone. But still the app won't re-install on my iPhone.
    thank you,

Yeah, figured it out, and was just about to post what you said. But you were too quick. Thank you!

  • How do I recover a folder that has been deleted?

Last night I was burning a backup disc with some important files. The disc was corrupt so it didn't burn. The computer then had an alert that said Media was unreliable. Then when I went to close out of the window it said a newer file called documents is available would you like to update. I clicked yes and it was the wrong documents folder. All my files were in a folder named documents on my desktop. Then it said something about my aliases weren't working so I deleted those as well.
Now I can't find anything that was in that folder.
How do I get my original documents folder back?

    Welcome to Apple Discussions!
It sounds like you should have said no. In the future always backup your data before doing something like that as my FAQ explains:
    http://www.macmaps.com/backup.html
I would shut down your machine, and go out and buy a copy of Prosoft Data Rescue and an external Firewire hard drive big enough to recover your hard drive. There is a chance it may still be able to see the data you deleted.

I asked for you to post in the iPhone forum because the most knowledgeable of the iPhone Guru's are there. I am not sure of the best way to recover (I use backups, the easy way) so will not suggest how.
Until you do have a procedure to follow DO NOT allow the iPhone to connect, turn WiFi and Mobile Data off, the only copy of your calendar is on that phone.

I buy for mac app but not for the iPad, so how do I reinstall a program that has already purchased? I need help because I bought the imovie'11 but when he opened it only brought 8 movie trailer templates instead of the 15 it says on the program. How do I solve this problem? Once paid for a program incomplete. I also liked that the AppStore itself had a button to reinstall programs already bought, because it is very hard to understand how to do this in the store, only option is to install and hide purchase, and how do I reinstall, attention'm talking about reinstalling a computer mac, not an ipad or iphone.
    Thank you.

  • How do u uninstall the apps that already been purchased?

How do u unitalled the apps that already been purchased?

Press and hold any of the apps and after a couple of seconds or so they should start to shake. Then press the 'x' in the left corner to delete the ones that you don't want, and when you've finished deleting press the home button so as to stop the shaking. You cannot delete any of the Apple built-in apps e.g. Music/iPod, App Store, Game Centre etc. If you don't get the 'x' on any of the apps that you've downloaded then check that Settings > General > Restrictions > Deleting Apps isn't set 'off'

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

HoW do I save a recording that has been sent to me via text message? Thanks

You will need a document storage, player, or manager to save the file (DropBox, File Manager, Box, VLC, MoliPlayer for example).
To actually save the file, with it open in iMessage, tap the file icon (lower left) and select the app to save it in.

    - If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
    iCloud: Find My iPhone

    - You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.
    - If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
    - Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
    - There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it unless you had iOS 7 on the device. With iOS 7, one has to enter the Apple ID and password to restore the device.
