What photos?
Photos taken with the iphone should be imported to your computer regularly as with any digital camera, most especially before any update or restore. If you failed to do this, then they are likely gone. You can try restoring from backup.
Photos synced from your computer should still be on your computer an in you regular backup copy of your computer.

I have a MacBookPro that is not identifying the SD card reader since installing Mavericks. I have heard that ScanDisk has a patch but I have not been able to download it from their site. I have read that downloading the SandDisk patch on a PC and then transferring it to a Mac will fix the problem. I would sure appreciate some help restoring my Mac after uploading to Mavericks. My firewire drive does not seem to be working either. I cannot use my M-Audio firewire interface for recording and editing in ProTools. Launch the Image Capture app in your Applications folder.
Conenct the card reader.
Then see if Image Capture recognizes the card unde DEVICES top left side of the Image Capture window.
BEFORE upgrading from one OS X to the next, check the websites for your third party software and hardware for compatibility.

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

There is no reason to have lost data by upgrading to 4.2. We are on 4.3.3 now, by the way. Are you regularly syncing and thereby backing up?

The voicemail system used for the iPhone is different from the voicemail system used on the rest of the Verizon Wireless network. When you activate the iPhone, you lose your saved voicemails from the other system. When you activate a non-iphone, you lose any saved voicemails from the iPhone voicemail system too.

They show in the camera roll, just not your computer?

How do i restore factory settings? when i hit reset all, it asks for my password, then says verification failed - the request timed out. It's the right password, so i don't know why it's saying that. Also says that when I try to turn off "Find My Phone"

How do I restore the back up from my old iPhone 5 which is IOS 8.1.3 to my new iPhone 6 which is IOS 8? It's not coming up as an available back up restore option? Am I able to set up as a new iPhone and then update the new phone to IOS 8.1.3 and then restore from my old iPhone 5 back up at that stage?
Setup your new phone, then update to iOS 8.1.3. Once done: Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content & Settings". At the setup screen you'll now be able to select your old phone's backup.

Should happen immediately...are your firewalls & anti-virus software turned off? If not, turn all of that stuff of & try again.

After upgrading to Mavericks, all my mail folders in Mail are gone. Does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix this. I only use the apple Mail, not anything else like gmail etc. Its very frustrating as I had importantant documents there.

Unfortunately you do not have direct access to iOS backs in iCloud.
I am not sure what you mean by:
It's locked with an enterprise (third party code)
Do you mean it is a corporate device and managed by Mobile Device Management software?
If so the IT department can reset the passcode.
Other than that, there is no third party iOS app that can lock the device at that level unless it is jailbroken and then no one here can help you. -

Sorry , you probably can not get them back.
You may have bookmarked them, or have them as part of the History previously stored and still searchable, but unfortunately otherwise you are unlikely to get them back. Firefox does to a certain extent back up bookmarks automatically but not the history.
