I just bought 2 iPhone 5 s. I can barely hear the person on the other end unless I turn on the speaker phone..then every one can hear. I cant find a way to turn up hearing volume. Tried blue tooth on/ and bluetooth off. Phone ring is set high. Both phones are having the same problem, so must be missing something?

Clear the receiver
The iPhone receiver won't work properly if it's blocked or dirty. Here's where the receiver is:
Follow these steps, testing after each:
- Make sure nothing is blocking the receiver, such as a case or film.
If you have a new iPhone, remove the plastic film on the front and back of the device.
- Check the receiver opening to see if it's blocked or dirty. If necessary, clean the receiver opening with a clean, small, dry, soft-bristled brush.
- While you're on a call, turn on speakerphone. If you still can't hear, then your network or reception could be the issue. Try calling again later or from a different location.
Restart and update
1. Restart your iPhone and test again.
2. If there's still no sound or poor sound quality, update to the latest version of iOS.

Is there a way to create aliases for formulas without using other cells?
I have long formulas in certain cells, that consist of a bunch of smaller formulas that I re-use in multiple cells. Is there a way to create an alias for a formula (or create my own function) that I can then piece together into one big formula? I think I can use another cell to drop the formula in, but that just clutters up the spreadsheet.

Why can I not turn the volume very loud when using headphones?

1) Is it happening with particular song? - if yes then its an issue with song
2) is it with all songs( check head phones with other player or so it might be faulty)
3) Is there any volume limit (lock) set on your ipod
if head phones are fine and if it happens with all songs and if same songs play with good sound on computer you might need to restore your ipod and reupdate the songs may be an issue with ipod but if all songs play with similar kind of sound on computer your ipod should be ok as it might be the sound quality of those songs -
I am unable to connect my Macbook air, iPhone or iPad though bluetooth. I have tried all the suggestions I have read. i.e. toggle bluetooth on and off, turn devices on and off, forget devices and then pair. I seem to be able to pair but the devices immediately go to not connected and a message appears that reads: make sure devices are turned on and in range.
Pairing the phone with the car is one thing, but paring to the computer is not generally supported. Tethering is using the cellular data access from the phone for the other devices. It is part of Personal Hotspot. If you aren't aware of what it is, then it probably is something you do not use.
As far as the car is concerned, what is not working? Does the car not see the phone, or the phone see the car, or after you start to pair something fails? If you provide more information about the problem and what you have tried to do to correct it, then we can offer some solutions. Can i listen to music without using headphones on a ipod nano 4th gen?
when i move to wheel on the ipod it makes noise without headphones (sound comes from speaker) but when i play music or a movie i need headphones just to listen to it... is there a setting to where i can listen to music or movies without using headphones??

I just got iphone 5c and i am not happy with it. It uses to much data and i don't even know how. I can't get the ringtones i want for my contacts.I got it on my free upgrade but i want to take it back and get something else but where i got it they say i can't because i don't have the earbuds and i have serches or them. now i am suck with a phone i don't like at all until my next upgrade. this is very dishearten
1. If you are this unhappy with that phone, and the lost earbuds is the only thing stopping you from taking it back, why do not just buy some earbuds. That way you can get rid of that phone. It all depend upon how much you want to get rid of that phone.
2. Yet if you are stuck with that iPhone, here is something might help you to control the data usage. By design, iPhones do turn off WiFi when they go dormant. So if a download is in progress and so forth when the phone goes dormant, it will switch to use cellular data, if this setting is left on. Therefore, from multi-sources I have learned that if you keep your iPhone connected to a power source, then it will stay connected to the available WiFi. -
Just got iPhone 5, get home and find iCloud Outlook Add-in does not install under Windows XP. I am loathe to upgrade to Windows Vista/7/8 just yet. Can I obtain and use an earlier version of iCloud Outlook Add-in? My iPad II synchronizes!
There is no 'earlier' version that supports XP. iCloud launched with Vista/7 support only.

I just got iPhone 5s and after a day when I open the notifications from the top that make the phone shows the apple sign and back to unlock what can I do as I reset all settings and nothing changed ??
So after looking a bit closer i have noticed that when i have the phone plugged into the computer it shows the songs but when i dont have it plugged in and i go so the song icon on the bottom of the music menu screen it says i have no songs!

Resolving issues with Touch ID
1. Verify that you are using the latest version of iOS.
2. Ensure that your fingers and the Home button are clean and dry.*
Note: Cover the Home button completely. Don't tap too quickly, don't press down hard, and don't move your finger while Touch ID is scanning. Make sure that your finger touches the metal ring around the Home button.
3. If you are using a protective case or screen protector, it must leave the Home button and the surrounding ring completely unobscured. If it doesn't, remove the case or screen protector and try again.
4. Tap Settings > General > Touch ID & Passcode > Touch ID and verify that:
- iPhone Unlock or iTunes & App Store is enabled.
- One or more fingerprints have been enrolled.

I just got my iPad, I have an iPod. When I go to put apps on my new ipad it says my apple ID Is disabled. I have reset the passwords. Somehow I have two id's? I've gone into settings for apps signed out and back in with the new p.w. I can't think of what else to do to get the disabled block off. Any ideas?? Thanks
