I just set up a calendar on iphone, ipad and PC. Iphone will not send new events but will receive from both PC and ipad. I just updated to iOS 6 and am reading others have similar problems. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Are the other phones that can't receive messages iPhones? If not, that could be the problem.

My iPad will not send new or edited changes to MobileMe.
I have turned off syncing through iTunes to prevent multiple listings of the same event. When I add or change an event on my computer it is changed on my iPad thru MobileMe without any problems, but when I change or add an event on my iPad it is not sent back to MobileMe or to my computer.
(in Settings, Push is set to 'on' on the iPad)
How do I fix this?

Is your iPad updated to IOS 4.2, or later?
You may have to turn Calendars off/then back on. Apple - MobileMe - Set Up MobileMe
Make sure that you do not choose to remove any calendars from your iPad when turning it off. When turning it back on be sure to choose "Merge with MobileMe" to ensure that you do not lose any calendar data which has been already entered on you iPad.

Iphone 4s will not text overseas mobile but will receive from same contact.

So I should update this. The phone actually loses service, I have reset the network connection as well as I have updated the carrier settings and the phone is still losing service randomly. I called the carrier and they told me there is nothhing they can do unless we bring the phone in, they believe it could be the sim card because everything on their end looks to be fine. So I'll be going to the carrier store this evening to see if they can fix the problem if not then I will be going to the apple store. Do hope this problem gets fixed soon.

However, as I had tried what you suggested (and a lot more as I am 'reasonably' competent), and had been so doing since yesterday afternoon, I do believe that what you suggested was correct - that it was my third rate ISP that was at fault.

Mac Mini will not send iMessages to anyone but apple users all other devices will

I have a new mac mini and it will not send iMessages to people that do not have apple devices. All my other apple devices will send to people on these devices. The mac mini says that the users are not registered with iMessages. My Macbook Pro has no problem. Any suggestions?

Is your MacBook Pro sending the SMS messages through your iPhone?
That is the protocol others are probably using.

Win8.1 hard drive will not load in one computer but will in another

I have a HP s3707c (product FQ578AA-ABA, Software build 91NAv6PrA1). Win8.1. This computer got stuck in the "preparing automatic repair" loop and will not start windows. It freezes with the windows icon showing and no spinning circle of dots appear. I made a recovery USB and it will not start from it either. I thought that it might be a hard drive problem (or software), but the HP diagnostic test from hitting F9 on start up indicate that everything passes. I have a second computer that is the same type, so I took the hard drive out of the computer having problems and put it in the one that is not having problems. It started up just fine. I put the hard drive from the good computer into the one having problems and it still would not start up windows from the drve or from the recovery disk. Any suggestion on how I should proceed diagnosing the problem on this machine not starting up windows?

Hello D1P. I understand that the hard drive will work on one computer, but not another one. I do have to point out that the computer you pointed out (FQ578AA), does not have Windows 8.1 drivers, as indicated here. You should reference this document for more information: What if I don't see my operating system.
If you are interested in troubleshooting the issue under this environment, you can test the computer for hardware failures. If there is an error, this indicates that the computer could have a hardware failure. Otherwise, you are likely facing a compatibility issue.

Thunderbird will not send emails...but claims they are "sent" (no error message)

Up until the beginning of this month my Thunderbird was working fine with my roadrunner email address. I have not downloaded any new software or made any changes to my settings during this time. Now I can no longer send emails (although it claims they are sent) and I never get an error message. I'm definitely in online mode, can receive all messages fine, and can send messages from my road runner server fine through webmail. I have checked to ensure no firewalls or antiviruses are blocking my outgoing messages and know the SMTP is correct. Please help!

My MacBook Pro will connect to WiFi but will not work in one location but will at others. I have the same issue with my IPhone 4S at the same location.

My MacBook Pro will connect to Wifi at one location (this is a secure location) but will not allow access to the internet. I will put in the password but will not display page. Other wifi capable devises do not have this issue but my Mac and my Iphone 4S will not work. I have tried restarting the router. All other wifi locations I have been to have not had this issue. Any suggestions? I am realtively new to Apple products (less than a year) so any advise is greatly appreciated.

IPod will not update - Mac sees it but will not let unmount

I am having a problem that predates the 5.0 update. When I connect my iPod to my Mac (updates previously worked fine) the iPod appears on the desktop, iTunes starts up and the iPod appears in iTunes, but when iTunes shows "updating iPod", it just churns for about 2 seconds and then stops even though I have plenty of files to be updated.
If I then attempt to unmount the iPod from iTunes, I get the message "The iPod (iPod name) cannot be ejected because it contains files that are in use by another application". If I then shut iTunes down and try to unmount from the desktop, I am given the message "The disk (iPod name) is in use and could not be ejected."
I tried deleting the .ktext file as suggested in another thread, but it didn't work. Any ideas?
Oh, I should mention that since it refuses to unmount, I am unable to do a restore, because the program needs to unmount the iPod in order to work. If I launce the iPod updater and then connect the iPod, it doesn't see the iPod.

Hello Todd,
First, reboot your Mac and put your iPod into "Disk Mode" which will force your iPod to mount with your Mac. Open the Disk Utility and you will see your iPod there. Do an "Erase" - bear in mind it will delete all data in iPod. Disconnect the iPod and re-plug with your iPod, your iPod will show up on your Desktop which should allow you to do the RESTORE.
