Did you transfer your purchases to computer iTunes?
If so, you can sync them from there.

Hello, im having a problem with my iphone 4, i couldnt buy anything off the App store so i decided it would fix my problem. i was wrong there it only caused more problems after the update. i lost all my apps and i still have the same problem with my app store.
I can open the app store but whenever i try to touch the (Free) button nothing happens, also when ever i go to the category section it shows me a bunch of random apps and i cant go back to pick a different category. please help!

I bet you still have your apps on your computer. Sync the apps onto your phone from there. If they arent on your computer, download them on.

Before the software update, I couldnt configure the email, but after I did, now I lost, all the apps installed in my phone..
I hope I should have done the backup.. Among that apps, I believe oxford was useful for me...

here are some links, now i don't know if this is what you are looking for or if they are free. and yes you have to reinstall yours apps unless you did a back up which you did not. reinstall nokia maps, share online and such you can find it either here

or on regular nokia site for you region/country to see what else you might be missing. sorry i know this is not what you want to do but this is the only way you can restore apps on your phone.

Ok, even for a noob this is weird. I read the above post and I'm suffering the same fate with my itouch. Where before the v5.0 update I had 4 pages of apps, I now have one full page of standard apps and a second page with only two new v5.0 apps (messages and reminders). All my downloaded (free or not) apps are gone.
By chance, from within itunes I went to Devices>Grubmeister's iPod>apps
I saw that all my previous apps were in the list, although grayed out. After agonizing over the possible risk I selected the "sync apps" checkbox. The warning was sufficiently vague to convince me my bank account might be drained and my firstborn would evaporate. I decided I hated the current predicament more than the possible result (my wife for some reason thinks I have a prioritization dysfunction). From within the itunes graphical representation of my itouch (wtfihta???) I see a blank third page. Within pages 4 and 5 all my apps appear. Ahh, I figure they're there, I just didn't know it. I should be able to access them now. Unfortunately, I can't get to them by sweeping my finger on my itouch. Hmmnnn...
I decide to go forward by clicking the itunes "sync" button at the bottom right of the screen. Yup, after the sync, they're there, just like itunes shows them, in screens 3 and 4. The blank page is gone. So far, I haven't noticed any missing data but you'll know when you hear me scream.
I hope this helps. I can't help but think this is a v5 flaw but what do I know. I'm in the 99% so I must have deserved this misery because I'm not special.

I have lost all my apps that I purchased through the app store from my itouch. I had been able to backed up before that point due to system issues.
I had to re-install my system, but copied the itune folder from my documents and copied it back onto my new system setup afterwards. I then synced with itunes, now I have lost all the apps I purchased, is there any way I can get them back?

Log into the iTunes Store with the account used to purchase them, click the Buy button for each, and confirm that you want to download them again; redownloads are free for applications.

Lost all my apps after updating to ios 7

So basically i was going to update my Iphone 4 today to ios 7 and i backed up to my pc right before i was goind to update.. then when i updated and when i turned on my iphone i saw that all my apps are gone, i think my other data is there but i cant find any clue of my apps.. i tried to restore last back up again but still didnt work!

i recently updated my iphome 5c with the latest update and I have lost all my recent pictures except about 20, which means I've lost a lot of importants ones of which include family and friends ans I am not happy since they should not have got deleted from this update.

There are two types of people in the world; those that have lost data, and those that will lose data. (In other words, it happens to everyone eventually).
The difference is whether or not you took proper precautions to safeguard your 'important' data. You did not.
Apple recommended backing up your data before updating your iOS. You did not.
You've learned an important yet painful lesson. Backup your data, and import your photos/videos regularly.
Tell me; what would you have done if, say, your iPhone had accidentally dropped into water and fried? Or if it had been lost or stolen? How would you have recovered your photos and other data then?

What is your product number? You mention that your operating system is now Windows 8? How did you upgrade? Is this when your problems began? Did you check out this page to see if your computer has been tested by HP with Windows 8 prior to upgrading?

Lost all my apps after I did a system restore on my replacement I phone 4

Hi, I got my I phone stolen and got a replacement phone, I did a system restore and everything came over except for all my apps. What can I do? Yes I did back up my phone prior to it being stolen. I did remember seeing all my apps on my itunes at one point.
Does this happen when you try to connect a new iphone with old itunes account?
I might of downloaded a new firm ware for i tunes before I did a system restore on my new iphone 4, could that of triggered my apps being missing?

If your apps were in itunes on your computer, then they should still be there. Just sync them back to the iphone.
BTW, the backup that itunes performs when syncing does NOT include music/apps/movies/tv shows etc.
Anything purchased on the iphone would have to be transferred to your computer. File>Transfer Purchases
Unlike music/vids/etc, you can redownload apps

I just come back from my holidays and run the software update.
After a reboot i launch MAIL, he says me "i will migrate your mails it will takes some minutes" (i translate as i can, i am french). It takes almost 3 seconds and mail open like it was out of box : empty

I had the same problem. I followed V.K.'s advice, even though i had not read it, and looked for the files in my library/mail folder.
When I started mail after the update, it automatically set up one of my accounts, and then I manually set up the others. When I went to that folder, there were doubles of the accounts that I had set up with slightly different names - the new ones containing mail that I had revieved this afternoon, and the old ones containing the old messages.
I closed mail, copied the messages from the old inbox to the new inbox for both accounts, deleted the envelop index, and restarted.
The problem is fixed!

Select the iPhone in the iTunes sidebar and go to the Apps tab. If the apps aren't checkmarked and set to sync there, checkmark the appropriate boxes and resync. This of course presumes that the apps are on the laptop. If not, you'll have to download them again:

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer.
If for some reason you have failed to do this, then you can redownload some itunes purchases in some countries:

Have plugged back in and resynced. The apps should be there in your i tunes on the computer. Make sure the right sync buttons are checked.
