Did you go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores and sign out and sign back in?

I bought student mac air through university account, Iworks were included when I purchased mac air. But there are no iworks and It's not free when I tried to download from App Store. OS was OS X Mountain Lion 10.9 When I received it. Is it because of OS? I upgraded to OS X Mavericks right after I got it.
Today, I went to the mac store and asked the staff about above issue. Apple obviously sent me a mac air which was manufactured before October 2013 and therefore, iworks and OX Mavericks weren't installed. I have refund for around £45 to purchase iworks. However, I wasn't happy with what Apple actually did. I asked for replacement and refund the one I got and getting the new one from store so I can use mac straight away. however, the refund takes 5-7 working days. The staff on the phone told me if I have enough money I can just buy the new one in the store and get refund later. So I gave up! I was so disappointed with Apple. Even though I use the mac now, this was not the one Apple promised when I purchased online. if anyone would like to buy a mac, Please go to the actual store. DO NOT buy a mac through MAC ONLINE STORE!!! I strongly recommend! I feel like I wasted my time because the company doesn't keep its promise.

My grandad has a 1st edition iPad and when he tries to download certain apps it says he needs at least iOS 5? Shouldn't this be updated automatically? Or can this be updated another way? I haven't been to see his iPad so he may not be looking properly??? Any helpers???
The iOS version is not updated automatically, though if he connects it to his computer's iTunes (if it's a recent enough version) he should be prompted as to whether he wants to update.
He should connect the iPad to his computer's iTunes and copy any purchases off the iPad to his computer via File > Transfer Purchases. He may also want to copy photos and any important documents off the iPad as well e.g. via the file sharing section at the bottom of the device's apps tab when connected to iTunes, via wifi, email, dropbox etc - they should be included in the backup, but it's best to have a copy of them outside of the backup just in case. He can then force a backup of the iPad by right-clicking the iPad 'Device' on the left-hand side of iTunes and selecting 'Backup'.
He can then start the update by selecting the iPad on the left-hand side of iTunes, and on the Summary tab on the right-hand side clicking the Check For Updates button

His iPad should update to iOS 5.1.1 (which is the only version that is 'signed' by Apple for the iPad 1, it doesn't support iOS 6). -
I tried to download some Apps from the English shop but am apparently not allowed to do that. I am prompted to switch back to the Spanish shop.
Unfortunately I do not remember how to do that. I cannot even update my existing Apps. I cannot find anything in Settings to get back to the
Spanish store. help!!!

Have 60 gig ipod classic will power up will go to songs but will not play any songs just sits there on 0 I can fast foreword but it still will not do a thing just sits at new spot in song and will not play , help please.

This is what I did to fix both the skipping songs problem and the iPod verifying forever & not able to restore problem (because of iTunes 9):
a) I used Disk Utility to reformat my iPod while in Disk Mode using the instructions here:

b) Do not unplug your iPod after reformatting (mine showed up as a firewire disk) - simply launch iTunes ( I went back to 8.2) and follow the Restore instructions here:

iPod is recognized, syncs and doesn't skip songs anymore after that miserable experience with iTunes 9!!! -
I am trying to download an app from the UK store but I am registered in Germany and my ID is not accepted in the UK store. The app in question is not available in the German store. What do I do?

Each country's governement sets the rules for commerce in their nation - so things like copyright can limit foreign use, plus tax laws and such. For any intellectual property (software, books, music, audio, video), it is mostly copyright restrictions that limit cross border retail sales. -
Hi apple, I have currently got a visa $50 gift card. I put it on my iTunes account I have currently ran out of funds on the card. Now even when I try to download free apps or even update, it says it requires a new credit card. Is there a way around this
We are fellow users here on these user-to-user forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple.
If you have a credit card on your account then it needs to be valid. Have you tried removing it from yoru account ? On your iPad try tapping on your id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Store on iOS 6+) and selecting 'View Apple ID' on the popup - that should give you a payments link on your account's page. -
My bluetooth keyboard (Macnus brand - bought recently in Thailand)(similar to Mac small keyboard) will pair with my iPad using code 8310,and is recognized by my iMac but will not pair?
There are very scant instructions with the keyboard and no mention of any code (the code was prompted by my iPad).
I have followed the instructions but it still will not pair with my iMac!

I have been unable to find any website for the maker, but have looked at several Thai/cambodian sites incl <http://www.buycoms.com/Article/8435/index.asp> which mentions the keyboard being suitable for tablet or windows. No mention of iMac! although the box is branded to indicate Mac compatable.
I'm thinking that maybe it just will not pair with an iMac.
Ill keep looking for the maker website, which might come on later in the future? maybe?

Go view your ID and add a valid payment metod, or
Create a NEW account using these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. You must use an email address that you have not used with Apple before.
Creating an iTunes Store, App Store, iBookstore, and Mac App Store account without a credit card -
I noticed I have set up 4 Admin user accounts under my own name with diff. variations as seen in the attchment. Some have a diff. password to log on to which I am able to do. This computer is used for my business and I need info that is scattered on the other 3 accounts to be in/on ONE admin account.
I don't know how i ended up with multiple accounts. Maybe due to having two 24" iMacs and multiple iPhones & iPad2 for me and family.
I use this computer for business and personal.
Due to multiple Admin user accounts I have important info scattered on the other accounts resulting in some accounts have some of the info to others having much more but not ALL. Some accounts have from a couple hundred songs, podcasts, etc. etc. to a few 1,000 on another Admin account.
I want to consolidate ALL of my info, files. songs, podcasts, pictures & email etc. into one Admin account and delete the other accounts to reduce confusion.
I was told by my local Apple authorized service shop that it is not easy but moving most of the info is possible. Their caveat was email would probably not be able to be moved other than forwarding each email I wanted out of each account and opening in the account I wanted to consolidate into.
As a side note, I get an error message at times saying that I do not permission/authority to delete / move files? What might be the issue when I encounter this type message?

I've downloaded the latest iTunes, set the DNS to 8.8.4.4, set the search domain to google.com, reset my Apple ID and password, restarted iPhone 4, closed out of the iTunes Store App, reset the router, reset the internet connection etc. etc. with no luck still. Everything else on the iPhone and internet connection is 100% functional with the exception of me being able to connect to the iTunes Store to download an app. Why? How do I fix it? Thank you for any and all responses.

Installing the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo may help this.
Restart your Mac after installing the combo then try downloading Lion.
It's ok to install the combo even though you are already running v10.6.8
BEFORE you do this make sure your Mac meets Lion's requirements:
Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, or Xeon processor
2GB of memory
OSX v10.6.6 or later (V10.6.8 recommended)
7GB of available spare

I recently got my daughter an iCess RC helicopter. It works via bluetooth and can be used with Apple and Android devices. She has a ipod touch, but when trying to do a search for "iCess" in the app store, nothing comes up. It shows up on my PC in the itunes store, but how do I get it on the ipod touch or its apps store?
Also having the same problem when trying to locate the app with my iPad and its app store. I got it installed on one of my android devices via the Google Play store so I know its there & works. Any ideas or suggestion on what is going on here with the iPod and iPad app stores?The RC helicopter's directions say its available in the App store for Apple and here it is in the iTunes store:

Basically my Ipad2 stopped allowing me to go to sites such as Tumblr a little while ago. It wouldn't display the page properly because of 'security certificate' issues. This in itself would not have been such a problem, but when I went to the App store to try and download the Tumblr App, a pop up appeared asking me to answer some security questions before I could successfully install the App. However, the pop up would not display correctly because of 'security certificate' issues and as a result I can't download any apps from the App Store. Can anyone help with this??
