My phone quit working. It seems to be getting hot off and on. How do I contact apple to get my phone replaced since I have applecare?

If your iPhone 4 was running iOS 5, you can't install iOS 5 on an iPhone 3G which means you can't restore the 3G from the backup of the iPhone 4 running iOS 5.

The phone was working and charged about 50% when I went to bed last night. When I awoke this morning and hit the button, nothing happened. I thought maybe the charged had gone to zero. I put the charger in and checked the phone about 20 minutes later and the phone was still dark.

The Camera Raw button in my Adobe Bridge has quit working and all my raw files are hidden by a cover that says PEF and has a camera raw icon on it. I can open the files in camera raw if I double click on the file but I want to see the files and be able to use the camera raw button. How can I fix it?
This means you have not the correct ACR plug in to support your PEF files or no ACR plug in installed at all.
In photoshop go to the menu Photoshop / About Plug ins / Camera Raw.
Here should be showing the version number of your ACR plug in (only 1 version should show btw)
Then go to this site and check wether your camera is listed and what minimal version you need to open the files:

Updated to Oct 2014 version of photoshop CC. since that time cannot save ANY work. I can work on files but when I hit 'save as" every time it says "photoshop has quit working and needs to close." Need solution now.

I have used Firefox for over a year. For some reason it quit working and I can't seem to fix it. I uninstalled and reinstalled the download and it's still not working. When I click on the icon it says unable to connect.
Yes, if you repurchase it you may lose your progress. The exception would be a game that stored all your progress on a server under your ID

1. Don't apply the update.

Dear Sirs,when i use the computer updating my iphone to ios 7.1,suddenly black out.The computer has no power and my iphone does not work and keep display the screen saying the iphone need to connect to itunes. So when i connect my iphone to iTunes, the computer says"itunes has detected an iphone in recovery mode. you must restore this iphone before it can be used with itunes"
So my question is if I click OK(restore the iphone),will i lose all my data and whatsapp??

hopelessIf you didn't back up the phone to iCloud or iTunes (on your computer) BEFORE attempting the update, the data will be lost.

Connect in recovery mode and restore, you'll get the option to rest the passcode during this process:
If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present. Although it isn't possible to sync an Apple device with two different libraries it is possible to sync with the same logical library from multiple computers. Each library has an internal ID and when iTunes connects to your iPod/iPad/iPhone it compares the local ID with the one the device normally syncs with. I have my library cloned to a small 1Tb USB drive which I can take between home & work. At either location I use SyncToy 2.1 to update the local copy with the external drive. Mac users should be able to find similar tools. I can open either of the local libraries or the one on the external drive and update the media content of my iPhone. The slight exception is Photos which normally connects to a specific folder on a specific machine, although that can easily be remapped to the current library if you create a "Photos" folder inside the iTunes Media folder so that syncing the iTunes folders keeps this up to date as well. I periodically sweep my library for new files & orphans withiTunes Folder Watch just in case I make changes at one location but then overwrite the library with a newer copy from the other. Again Mac users should be able to find similar tools.
As long as your media is organised within an iTunes Music or Tunes Media folder, in turn held inside the main iTunes folder that has your library files (whether or not you let iTunes keep the media folder organised) each library can access items at the same relative path from the library folder so the library can be at different drives/paths on different machines. This solution ensures I always have adequate backups of my library and I can update my devices whenever I can connect to the same build of iTunes.
When working with an iPhone earlier builds of iTunes would remove any file not physically present in the local library, even if there was an entry for it, making manual management practically redundant on the iPhone. This behaviour has been changed but it will still only permit manual management with a library that has the correct internal ID. If you don't want to sync your library between machines on a regular basis just copy the iTunes Library.itl file from the current "home" machine to any other you want to use, then clean out the library entires and import the local content you have on that box.
