HT4528 my phone is stuck how do I get it unstuck

I tried updating my phone today - it shut down and is now stuck - the picture saying to plug it back into my computer/itunes - will not go away, i can't do anything with it and it is plugged into my computer.

Try DFU Mode Restore. Open iTunes on computer. Connect iPhone to computer with USB cable. Hold both Home and Power button, after exactly 10 seconds release the Power Button, keep holding the Home button until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode, usually about 20 seconds time. If the iPhone screen is black, blank this is DFU Mode. Click the Restore button of iTunes. DFU Mode can be difficult to enter sometimes, just keep trying. DFU Mode is a black, blank screen with iTunes saying Recovery Mode.

What does this have to do with Classic operating systems? They won't run on a Macbook anyway.

Resync it from your iTunes library. Music is not included in your backup.

After restoring my phone as New, how do I get my contacts and data back without the restrictions password

I forgot my restrictions password so I restored my Iphone as a New phone. Now, how do I get the contacts, apps and other data back on the Iphone? Can I restore my contacts & data without it also requiring a restrictions password again?

Thanks for replying. I had to do this process in order to get ICloud activated so I don't have it there. I do have an external backup of the Itunes library, but it sounds like that would also restore the restriction password that I don't know.
Why would ICloud be different (if I had backed up there?) Does it only save data?
And It sounds like I need to keep my contacts in another source .... such as? ... No, I don't use email much and my contacts arec the phone numbers I've captured in my phone. After I have them backed up to ICloud, do I also need to make sure they are somewhere else to where I won't run into losing them again?

Looks like your syncing pics on your computer to your phone. to remove it when your phone is sync to itunes, uncheck sync in the photos tab.

It is part of iOS 8, and cannot be removed. You can move the app to another page, or hide it in a folder. You can turn off the notifications for the App in the notifications center control pane.

Bad mistake. You shouldn't have used your Apple ID on his phone. And you made it worse because now the contacts are gone, as you deleted them from your phone, they got deleted on iCloud. Your husband should have his Apple ID.
There is really no way of recovering the deleted contacts unless you backed up using iTunes and even then you will only be able to recover those contacts that were on a call list. Read here:

If you're trying to sync an iCloud calendar, go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Calendar on your iPhone and make sure you have selected your iCloud calendar as your default.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
If you were updating iPhoto from the App Store, open Launchpad and click your iPhoto icon, so download should continue. If it doesn't work, restart your computer, delete iPhoto and install it again
