HT4528 my phone wont play in my car through usb

This is a new problem since I updated to ios 6. The display says it is playing 1 song but it is actually playing something else, and it just repeats that same song. The display changes, says it is playing different songs, but the same song plays over and over.

When I upgraded to iOS 6.0.1, my phone is not recognized in my car. Then I Just turned the phone off and turned it on. It appears to be working again. Not sure whether this fixes your prob, but try restarting your phone.
What about playing from your phone, is it repeating the same song again and again? If not, then it might be Just a glitch.

iTunes only syncs to Apple devices.
Assuming the media is not DRM protected, any of the media can be dragged and dropped from iTunes onto other drives (external, flash, etc) as the user chooses.

I have an article for you that can provide some helpful troubleshooting steps to address your issue:
No sound through stereo headset1
Inspect the headset jack for debris and clean if necessary.
Connect the headset and make sure the connector is pushed in all the way.
Check the volume setting. Adjust the volume by pressing the volume up and down button on the left side of the iPhone.
If you are trying to listen to music and cannot hear any audio, make sure that the music on iPhone is not paused. Try squeezing the headset microphone to resume playback. Additionally, from the Home screen you can choose iPod > Now Playing, then tap Play.
Make sure the latest version of iTunes is installed on the computer that you are syncing the iPhone with (songs purchased from the iTunes Store using earlier versions of iTunes won't play).
Try another Apple headset (some third-party headsets require an adapter to be used with original iPhone).
Try a different song or video.
Check to see if the iPhone alert sounds or other iPhone sound effects exhibit the same audio issues.
Disconnect the headset from the iPhone and see if sound comes from the built-in speaker.

TS1425 purchased the new Muse album last week, put into nano but since then it wont work in my car through the cars system, it shows menus on the car screen but no sound

loaded newly purchased Muse album into Nano and since then my nano wont play in my car, the cars screen lists album and track details but there is no sound?

Did it used to work previously? Have you tried resetting teh Nano to see if that helps?

Is it possible to play iTunes audio out through USB to receiver to power speakers?

I thought you should be able to.Play iTunes audio out through USB to a receiver equipt with USB mode as I can with my iPad Air, but I can,t find in preferences on my 2013 iMac any out put and I get no signal to the receiver/amp. Is it possible? What am I doing wrong?

A 3.5mm to RCA cable or adapter will work fine for stereo between the Mac's headphone jack and receiver's RCA input.

Additionally if your receiver is equipted with digital input, you could use a Toslink cable with a 3.5mm adapter on the Mac end.

I can't get the music on my phone to play in my car any more: It played fine before the latest update, now when I hit the MP3 button on my car radio, it says "No Media found"

Before the last update, I was able to play the music on my LG 2 over my car stereo system via blue tooth. A week ago I attempted to play my music in the car while on an 8hr drive and it wouldn't play. Normally, I select the music widget on my phone and then press the MP3 button on my car stereo and the music plays in the car. This has happened since the last update. Did the newest update (a month ago) change something that is keeping my music from playing in the car now????

right, figured it out. had to put it in disk mode, then reconnect, then it was recognized, then i restored and put everything back onto it. hope this helps anyone else who has a similar problem

My Iphone wont play music and only vibrates for text and email alerts, but strangely enough it still rings! Is this fixable at all?

Ok i think i have found out how to do it. Unplug your i phone, go to settings and then reset then reset all data and settings. This will warn you that it is going to erase eveything on your phone.
DO NOT BACK UP BEFORE HAND
then restart your phone and restore back up from when you donwloaded the new IOS5. This should sort out your problem :-)

My phone wont play music through aux cable in my car, is there a setting i need to change on my iphone for it to play through stereo?

I recently got a new car and it has an AUX port, i connected my Iphone 3gs and chnaged setting on stereo to aux. however nothing plays when i go to music on phone. I connected my Friends iphone and ipod and they play no problem. Can anyone let me knowif there is a setting i need to change on my iphone?

Maybe you have activated the random playlist. In your PC, check if the shuffle button of iTunes is activated; if it's activated, deactivate it. In this photo, it's the blue button:

Mp3's copied to phone, wont play

I have a 6288 with a 2gig memory card, and when i copy songs on to it, some...not all, songs will play part of the way thru, then mysteriously stop and go to the next track. Some songs don't start at all, but the file name and size is on the playlist. Sometimes even part of another song will cut into the one i'm listening to before it jumps to the next track???
I am running XP sp3, with PC Suite version 7.0.8.2 I connect to my 6288 via Bluetooth, but have also used USB.
I have updated phone software and PC Suite, but still have the problem, and I am VERY frustrated. Please Help!

Phone wont play music properly

whenever i tap on a song to play on my phone, it will not play the appropiate song. instead, my phone skips over a couple of tracks and then starts playing a random song which i did not intend to listen to. i then will try to tap on the song i wanted to play again but it will just skip again to a random song. the "shake shuffle" setting is off. i have resetted my phone and updated my ios but nothing seems to be working.i have had this phone for almost a year now and never had this problem until i bought a new album for my phone.

If all the settings show that you should get sound, restore the phone in iTunes. If it still doesn't work, the speaker may be defective and you should get it checked out at an Apple store Genius Bar. (BTW, there is only 1 speaker other than the ear piece).
Do you get sound through the headset? If not, it is an audio amp problem which also requires warrantee service.

my nokia n95 has stopped playing ALL video files, this including ones the phone has recorded. mp4. every video!
real player loads up the files playes them but only the sound. the picture is black and the timer dos'nt even count. whats happening here?????

That's very odd, you could try what android said.
Can you post the specific video properties of your video.

HT4528 My phone wont charge

Today, I learned that my phone would not charge at all. Last night, It charged completely fine to 100%. I have tried differernt chargers and outlets and checking for water damage which i did not have. Another thing is that it is not updtaed to IOS7 and it is shattered on the pack and has some cracks on the front. My update isnt untill janurary. PLEASE HELP!

This happen to me over the weekend, my battery drain without me knowing and I went to plug it in the wall outlet and nothing happen.
I let it sit there for a few minutes and still nothing.
I then tried a different outlet and waited ten minutes and still nothing, then I did a reset, no data loss.
Held down the home/sleep button together until either you see the apple logo or the battery icon, in my case I saw the battery icon and released the buttons and it started charging.
