I had this problem on my iPod Touch 4g. Just press the home and sleep button. Wait and it will give an iTunes and cable logo. Now you can put in DFU mode (Hold Sleep and Home button 10 seconds and then release the power button kand keep pressing on the home button.) Now you will be able to restore it in iTunes.

The remote lock locks the iphone with a passcode that you set. By remote wiping the device it will simply restore it and clear it of all its data, but by doing this it will prevent you tracking it and communicating with it (e.g. remote locking it) in the future

That means you have not a backup before accidentally restore your new iPhone 5.
So you should recover your new pictures and info with a third recovery tool.

That is not good but lets see if we can get it back to life. If you can, see if you can put your iPhone into recovery mode and then use iTunes to restore it. If you can get it to restore, it will erase everything off your iPhone. If you have a back up in iTunes or iCloud then you can put that on after the restore is complete. Your suggestion of breaking up the export to pdf into sections of pages was excellent. I don't know why I didn't think of it...maybe because I was in panic mode.
For anyone else who experiences this problem, I exported 50-page sections to pdf with no problem. I now have 7 hi-res pdfs, but that's no problem. The printer should have no problem dealing with it. No error messages came up.
The only thing I can think of is that InDesign couldn't export that many documents (148) in the book palette to hi-res pdf, and it has no error message available to explain the cause—either outside ID's ability to process or out of memory, even though I have 16G of RAM.

You need to contact your wireless provider and tell them your phone was stolen so they can deactivate it.

I got the new ipad this weekend and had problem with apple ID - thus resulting in 13 charges to my credit and debit card with itunes and nothing loading onto the ipad - does anyone have an idea as to how I can get this credited back to my accounts?

More update on y situation. Now on both the IPAD and IPAD2 I can not got to view my purchase History, it says it can not connect to the ITUNES store, but yet I can still d/l apps and can view my account etc etc etc.

You cannot update iPhone 4 to IOS 8.1.2, the highest you can update is IOS 7.1.2.
Unless you've iPhone 4S (looks similar to iPhone 4)

Unfortunately, you can't restore an iCloud backup without using wifi so that isn't an option.

You can save it in an iTunes Ringtone format (.m4r), have them download it, add it to their iTunes library then sync it.
