I continue to be unable to install apps, buy, upgrade apps...I have created userID and password and continue to get a "User ID already being used" . I have created a new User ID and password twice, I'm frustrated and hate Apple!!! Give me my working and faithful Android back!

I have had the same problem all day v frustrating, with both same error messges. I tried reset, resetting pram, new keychain, etc. Ended up turning off Little Snitch completely (even though I had enabled all icloud/ apple traffic). But after the filter had been disabled I could log on. Check your network filter, maybe your problem is there.

Installer/Software Update problems

I am having problems with installing or updating some software. When I try to start the installer, it acts as though it is going to work: the icons in the dock move to make room for another icon but then move right back and close the gap. The installer never runs long enough to generate or change the display. This has happened with three different software packages: iMacEFIUpdate1.3; Kodak EasyShare v 6.0.2; and Parallels-Desktop-5582-Mac-en-ND.
I talked to Kodak about the problem. All they wanted to do at first was help me download the installer. After I convinced them I had a good download, they sent me a CD containing the software. Same result - no installation.
The problem with the iMacEFIUpdate1.3 happened today. It was part of a group of six updates and I was not at the computer while the updates were being downloaded and installed.
Other software updates and installations have worked with no problems.
I have repaired permissions, but did not start from the installation disk. Could this be the problem?
I am at a loss as to what to try next. Does anyone have a solution?

Easyshare 6.0.2 when downloaded from Kodak is a standalone installer Application, not an installer package ....it can't be opened directly by "Installer" but should simply run on its own when double-clicked. I imagine that the Kodak supplied CD version is exactly the same.....
ctrl-click on the easyshare installer, choose 'get info' , in the 'Kind' section it will likely say "Application - Universal" If so, then that explains why 1: Installer won't open it, and 2: why there's no 'open with' dialogue for it.
The previous system should be ( just as your Console message said...) in HD/Previous Systems.localized/Previous System 1/ It's not normally invisible.
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=107120 explains how the Archive and Install works, I don't know offhand why some people get Previous Systems.localized rather than plain 'Previous Systems' but it doesn't seem uncommon.
Apple say "Don't install older versions of Mac OS than what comes with your computer" so I wonder if that might cause you problems later? Certainly something seems off here ( the default application for anything shouldn't be pointing at something in the Previous System )
Anyway, assuming you're gonna soldier on for now with Tiger on a Leopard-shipped Mac.... I guess that leaves the Easyshare installer not working? If you've double-clicked the Easyshare installer, it bounced in the Dock, and nothing more happened; there might be something in the Console log explaining why.... or a crash log for it in /Users/BigBob/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/
try the Easyshare installer app again - & look at the console log for clues while you do it.

IPad app store software update problem

My iPad app store icon indicates I need software updated. When I go to the app store all screens are working fine except the update software screen, which is blank. The "Updates" and "Search Store" bar is still at the top, as is the "featured" "top charts" "genius" "purchased" and "updates" bar at the bottom. I can easily navigate between the screens. But on this update page between the top and bottom is all white. I've tried shutting on and off, and tried resetting the iPad but neither option works.

Go through all apps and hit update on the apps that offer where it should say open or show the icloud icon

Okay so I have a iPhone 5 and all my software is up to date. I'm not able to download or update any of my apps. Whenever I press on update, it asks to enter my apple id password and after I do, it stalls for a few seconds and then says "update" again. It does the same thing when I try to downlaod a new app. My apple I.d and password are both correct. This has been going on for several days and I honestly have tried just about everything. I've turned off my phone, made sure my restrictions were off, ect. Pleeease help, it would be greatly appreciated

Reset the device instead of simply restarting it.
If that doesn't work, pick one of the apps that is least important to you. Delete it. Then try to redownload it.

Installer Extension (update problem)

Hi,
I tried a little example with the installer extension of JWS. For the first time visit all is fine. The installer is starting and installs something (stupid :-).
Also the second and third time visit all is running fine.
So, I'm happy and try to modify my application. I expect that the installer will called to uninstall and then make a new install with the modified application.
But when I try to call my new application I get an error.
The application hangs during the initialisation process
(downloading installer-descriptor).
In the log I get the following error:

I saw the Installer button once, but failed to see him again. Any hint appreciated.
I get the same Exception as in the initial posting:

JWS hangs and must be aborted. Log says NullPointerException at

I can confirm what dmullens describes:
setting _default.locallyInstalled=false
in file ELinstaller.jnlp will allow you do get a new update.
But this is no good! It will work only one time
because the next update will set
_default.locallyInstalled=true back which reveals the bug again.
I have two questions:
1) Why don't I see the JFrame of the Installer?
2) Can I change the source code in order to prevent the
visitExtensionDesc Exception?

App syncing and update problem

Please, explain me why a single app (for instance D8 or D17, just installed from the store) can prevent to sync or update iOS 8.
Itunes is stucked with the message "Waiting for changes to be applied".
It's a real pain to establish which app causes this problem.

I have exactly the same problem... Two weeks to restore my backup and to synchronize...

I've just upgraded WL 6.1 sp 2 to WL 6.2 sp 4. To upgrade, I uninstalled WL first,
then installed the new version in the same directory (I have copies of all the

Data sync to external SQL from Access Web App

Hi all
Am I dreaming or does creating a table in an Access Web app based on an external SQL Azure database table (not the intrinsic one) end up being an import not a sync? It doesn't even seem to update when i open the external table and refresh it?
I am adding new records at the external SQL source and they are not updating in the table in the WebApp
Is anyone having similar problems?

Do you mean that you import a table from an external SQL Azure database into Access Web app, the data in Access Web app did not update after you change the an external SQL Azure database data? In my option, this is expected behavior if you are using import
table. Importing from another database would not achieve that, and it only achieves copying data from another database. I am afraid that you could not achieve your requirement from Access Web app.
As far as I know, the database of Access web app is Azure DB, I think you could sync the Access web app Azure DB and External Azure DB, you could refer the link below for more information.

Dynamic User Name & Password Creation

In My Project I want to create no. of dynamic username & password as per user enters no of user he/she want to create.
For that i used database table's last auto-increment value and increment it to 1 & append it to 'st' for student(st+01)
so i am creating User name & Password Like st02 & st02 etc.
now my problem is when maxium limit of auto increment number is reached Usernmae & password repeats,so unique usernmae & Password creation not possible?
Is there any other way to do this other than using databse table's auto-increment field

Make sure the ID doesn't loop? An int(11) should provide MORE than enough possibilities. Be sure to use a long on the java side to hold the ID.

All apps are tied to the Apple ID they are purchased with and is not transferable.
You should delete them and re-download them with your new Apple ID.

Can't update my software or access the app store

After installing the mountain lion around 3 weeks ago, I am unable to access the App Store or update my software... tried looking for solutions and no luck so far

Follow this procedure:
1. Go to Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID.
2. Tap your Apple ID
3. Sign out
4. Sign in with your updated Apple ID.

Unable to find MSAD users in the projects- Planning app- Access contol re..

Hello,
I have configured MSAD and I could see all the users and groups. Not just MSAD but also native users
I was able to provision them and also access that application using that user.
But I don't see those user list in Projects ->PLanning app->Access control report or when I choose a member and try to assign access.
Could anyone please tell me where I am going wrong?
Do I have to do anything else to have them appear?

I accidently loaded my daughter's itunes and apps into my iphone 4. How can I delete all of her information and be able to use my itunes login and password again so that I can access my apps?

I recently purchased an Iphone 4 and was not aware that I had to have separate ITunes account. My daughter and I share a computer and apparently she is using the main account on the computer. I went to download some songs from her ITunes and it not only downloaded all of her songs on my phone but also her apps. I do not want her apps. When I went to use the apps that I had on my phone before downloading her ITunes information, they would not open and only go back to the main screen. When I access her apps, they work. Help!!! How can I restore my settings and just take all of the information that I downloaded from her ITunes out and set my own ITunes on the same computer. Any help would really be appreciated.

Create your own user account on your computer, open iTunes, log into your iTunes account on the iTunes Store then sync your iPhone.
