why is it that everytime I go to add an app, the message I receive is that the apple ID has been disabled.

I just acitvated my iPhone 4 and tried to download an app. I get the message Your Apple ID has been disabled.
If your account works on your computer's iTunes but not your phone then try logging out of your account on the iPhone by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if it then works.
Otherwise, depending on why it's been disabled, you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com
Or you might need to contact Apple : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page -

I bought an ipad2 from a private individual for my wife's birthday. When she tries to update an app, she is asked for the former owner's password, which we do not have. How can I fix this so it asks for her apple password?
If the app was bought with the formers owners Apple ID, you cannot update the app with her ID. Apps belong to the ID that was used to purchase them. The former owner should have erased the iPad before he sold it to you and his ID would not be popping up.
If these were apps that your wife bought, then her ID would be popping up, unless I am missing something. -
My coworker and I answer emails in 2 shared work emails and I have access to my personal email and her's to answer work questions. Lately when she answers an email in our orders inbox, and marks it off as answered with our assigned highlight, it won't transfer the info to my computer's inbox. I'm left thinking they're still unanswered. We've been double-answering many customers which seems strange and shouldn't happen. How can we get them to communicate more efficiently again. This has only been happening the past couple of months.
Have you followed the rest of the instructions on the TS2446 page that you posted from e.g. you've logged out of your account on your phone by tapping on the id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then logged back in ?

It says your Apple ID has been disabled because your Apple ID has been disabled. This is usually because Apple's iTunes store thinks that your account has been compromised. You need to contactiTunes store support.
