Apple have not created a Mac or PC program that can be used to read them - currently you need the iBooks app, and therefore an iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch

Refer steps here to delete SC file(s):

Then proceed to repair your QuickTime. START > CONTROL PANEL
WinXP - Add n Remove Programs
Win7/Vista - Programs n Features
highlight QUICKTIME and click CHANGE then REPAIR.

miraculous...i downloaded quicktime player from apple website and then i run it.upon double click on this quick time player and then i double clicked on itunes...there comes an enry of itunes software...now i am completely enjoying my musics.photos in smart phone.

Pages app unexpectedly quit whilst I was in the middle of a document. I can now not open it AT ALL. I find it's not just that particular document that won't open, but any of my Pages docs will not open using the current version of Pages. Any help?

The reports of the app unexpectedly closing each time, automatically went to Apple, but I am not sure what happens with them then. Does anyone know how to help me with this? We live in a very isolated region so rely on internet help. Thanks

I also managed to read a few other discussions about Pages and files not being able to open. I actually went to the last back-up and restored the computer from that and everything seemed to work ok again, which is great!...advice from another discussion I think you may have been involved in PeterB. Thanks for the advice...also this advice, as I will make a note of trying to open using the Shift key if it happens again and see what happens...might be an easier first option than restoring from a back-up. Thans heaps for the help!
I was interested to read some of the other discussions where it was stated that Pages '09 seems to be a better option to use. I have both installed, so I will lkeep this in mind. Thanks heaps!

PDF files are extremely reliable. You may have a software issue. I have the problem on 2 identical systems with the exact same specs. The problem occurs at the same exact interval. It may be a windows update. We have had to re-install software form the DVD in each instance. This fixes it for awhile and then it recoccurs. Adobe acts as if they have never heard of the problem...imagine that. I'm the only one with th problem.
This is happens with CS6 volume lic product.
If you dont own Adobe product it will be even more difficult to find and answer as the reader is used my so many people.
We know we have the problem again when we double click opn a PDF and nothing happens. SOme have reported that reloading does not fix the problem.
Wish I could help you. I am looking for answers to this issue right now and phone support is a 30 minute wait.

The Kindle app itself may be shareable, but the books may be considered an In-App purchase, making them not shareable. Amazon would be able to give you a definitive answer.

Can you share purchased books with Home Sharing?

Can you share purchased books (from IBooks) with Home Sharing? Music seems to share fine-books seem to be a problem.

In iTunes go to Preferences > Sharing and either share your entire library or make sure the Books playlist is checked.
You may then need to click the Import button to copy the book into your Library, I was not able to actually read the book without taking that step.

At this time, unless I've missed something recently, you cannot. You can load an iBook onto multiple iPads if these are all owned by your household though (you can't give an iBook to a friend, for instance, or a relative that lives elsewhere).
If the ability to lend books is important to you, you may wish to purchase Kindle books from Amazon, though you'll want to confirm that the book has lending enabled - not all do - and that the Kindle app for iOS supports lending.
This is one of the several advantages of physical books; the ability to loan them out or give them to someone else. Whether the book publishers will ever allow similar unfettered handling of electronic books is unknown, though I'd guess they'll be dragged to it kicking and screaming.
