hi apple here is the problem. i have my itunes account on my desktop. i recently switched computers with a sibling and i have her itunes library on the laptop and i need to import my library from the desktop and replace her library with my library on the laptop. i hope this makes sense and. can you help me.

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

Your Model apparently needs to use Apple's "Print & Scan" which is found in Applications>System Preferences>"Print & Scan". There you will follow the following instructions from the HP Support site to Scan, for instance:
Place the item that you want to scan on the scanner glass, or load it into the automatic document feeder (ADF) if your printer has one.
Click the Apple menu (# ), and then click System Preferences .
Click Print & Scan (# ).
Click your printer in the left pane.
Click Scan , and then click Open Scanner .
Click Show Details . The details of the scan display, including options to change scan settings.Figure 4: Example of the Show Details scanning screen#
Change any scan settings as necessary, and then click Scan .NOTE: Make sure to select either the Flatbed mode or the Document Feedermode, depending on your printer and how you plan to scan.

in Iphoto i dragged a group of photos into a folder on the desktop, they went in as thumbnails and i don't know how i did that. can anyone help me do that again
Don't you mean Photos or are you still using iPhoto with 10.10.3?
Normally one gets the preview version of a photo or the edited version if it's been edited when dragging from a thumbnail to the Desktop. Don't know how you would have gotten small thumbnail versions. -
Time machine makes whirring noise 24 hours a day. Orange light often flashes. Does not appear to be overheating. Can you help?
First: Are you wearing/regularly checking your radiation badge?
Second: What does the little Time Machine icon (in the menubar) say when you click on it? Alternatively, what does Time Machine Preferences (in System Preferences) tell you is going on?

Checking in my macbook pro, I found that on my HD there are 88,54 GB occupied by a backup. I use an external HD for Time Machine, so I don't understand why there is so much memory occupied for backup on the internal HD.

You can see in the Macintosh HD the 88,54 GB of backup. Can you help me to remove the backup? TanksThese are most likely "Local Snapshots".

Downgrading to a previous version of iOS is not supported. If you have installed software to perform unauthorized modifications to your iOS device, that software may have redirected connections to the update server (gs.apple.com) within the Hosts file. First you must uninstall the unauthorized modification software from the computer, then edit out the "gs.apple.com" redirect from the hosts file, and then restart the computer for the host file changes to take affect. For steps to edit the Hosts file and allow iTunes to communicate with the update server, see iTunes: Troubleshooting iTunes Store on your computer, iPhone, iPad, or iPod—follow steps under the headingBlocked by configuration (Mac OS X / Windows) > Rebuild network information > The hosts file may also be blocking the iTunes Store. If you do not uninstall the unauthorized modification software prior to editing the hosts file, that software may automatically modify the hosts file again on restart. If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.0.1. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

Trying to download iTunes on my husband' s windows vista laptop. Have tried 2 different browsers and it almost finishes the download process and we get error messages that say "error z, apple application was not found, windows error 2" Can you help? Thank you.

I can no longer burn CDs from my iTunes (Macintosh) playlists. The songs are now formatted as m4a, which might be making them unreadable by my CDs, although this never used to happen before. Can you help? Thanks very much.
After you select Burn, you need to select AudioCD in the pop-up window.

I have photos on a USB memory stick which I want to put onto my iPad. I bought the USB adaptor but for some reason the iPad is not recognising the memory stick. Can anyone help? Thank you
You need to create a DCIM directory off the root of the card, with the photos underneath it, and the photo filenames need to be exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension i.e. in a similar format as if a camera had created/written them. But a lot of USB memory sticks need more power than is supplied to the kit, so you may need a powered hub between it and kit.

forgot answers for security questions, my apple account has updated email address but the rescue email address for account is old and not accessible - do not know how to update that address so i can authorize new devices...

Start here (change country if necessary) and navigate to 'Password and Security', reset your security questions using the link provided, you will receive an email to your rescue address, use the link in the email and reset your security questions.
If that doesn't help, you don't receive a reset email or you don't have a rescue address, you should contact AppleCare who will initially try to assist you with a reset email or if unsuccessful will pass you to the security team to reset your security questions for you.
If you are in a region that doesn't have international telephone support try contacting Apple throughiTunes Store Support. -
I was using drop box very well - great - and I've just got a new hard drvie and I think the permissions have changed so I can't even open the application on my desktop.. .and none of hte files are syncing... v annoying as I need to upload some images to share! Please can you help?
