It used to download automatically to my ipod. Now it isnt. Any suggestions

Copy the files from your computer to her computer.
Authorize her computer to play content from your account.
Connect her phone to her computer.
Select the content desired to sync and sync.
Or she could simply buy the content she wants.

In iTunes go to the Help menu in the upper menu bar. Then click on iTunes Help. Then on Sync your iPod, iPhone or iPad and follow the instructions.

While you're in itunes, with the leftside window open, click on Apps. Then, look across the top middle of your itunes screen. You will see several choices: All, Iphone/iPad Touch, Ipad, Ipod Games, List, and Updates.
Clicking on each of these gives you a different view.
When you select ALL you will see all of your apps. When you select Updates you sill see only the apps that need to be updated. When you are in Updates you will see the Update button in the lower right corner.

Thanks, This caused me to go back and try again since the solution seemed so simple. What I did was when it started downloading, it started with the iphones apps to my computer. I did not want the apps downloaded on my computer so I stopped it. If I would have waited, the music was uploaded right after the apps were downloaded.

We are trying to move our music library stored on the Mac to a second ipad. We have already set up the second ipad and are only interested in getting select music onto the second ipad. When we plug the ipad into the imac and connect to iturnes it wants to set up or restore the second ipad. We're afraid if we do this it will remove all current information on the second ipad. Thanks

The process is the same as with the older versions of iTunes. The only thing that's changed is how you get to the device page for your iPhone; you tap the iPhone button in the upper-right on the header bar now. Or you can go to the View menu and select "Show Sidebar" and things will be substantially the same as they were in earlier versions.

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion. Use your backup to put everything back.
Certainly you did not restore your computer without making sure that your backup copy was up to date.
You can transfer itunes purchases from an ipod: File>Transfer Purcahses

Do you mean that you want to copy the music from your old computer over to your new one ? If you do then there are some methods described on this page for how to do it : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4527
If you want to copy the music back from your iPod then File > Devices > Transfer Purchases should copy your iTunes purchased music back from it. For music from other sources (e.g. copied from CDs) you will need a third-party program on your computer to copy it back from the iPod - there are some programs listed half-way down this page : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3991

How to get old music that is not on itunes onto new ipod?

I have just bought an 80gb ipod and it automatically put the music in itunes onto my ipod. However I have far more music in my c:\itunes that wasn't put in itunes and wasn't put onto the ipod. How do I get all this music on my ipod without having to play all the songs?
I have set up c:\itunes as my itunes folder in edit > preferences.

You don't have to play anything to get it into iTunes.
File -> Add folder to iTunes.
