Unfortunately, redownloading of past music purchases isa still in beta test and only available in the US right now.

If you own any verson of iPhoto '11 then there is a free update to version 9.5.x in the App store
If you own a previous version of iPhto (iPhoto '09 or earlier) then as always an upgrade to a new version (in this case iPhoto '11) is a paid upgrade and you purchase it in the App store
and no OS update/upgrade contains a version of iPhto - it is a seperate program and although it is included as part of every new Mac it is not a free program and never has been sinve version 1 or 2 (I forget when it changes)

I have the same issue with pages/keynote and numbers (iWorks). Came preinstalled when I bought the macbook air back in 2010 (Out of warranty). It crashed a couple of months ago so I took it to Apple but when I got it back the iWorks was no longer there. I cannot go back to Apple for a few months as there is no Apple store where I am currently.

Depending upon what country that you are in (and if you haven't changed countries since buying it and it's still in your store) then you might be able to redownload it via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app on your phone.
You should also be regularly connecting your phone to your computer's iTunes and doing File > Devices > Transfer Purchases so as to copy all of your downloads over so that you can take a backup copy of them (and preferably taking a backup of the phone if you have any important documents and/or photos on it) - apps and other downloads could also be potentially be removed from a country's store at any time, so you may not be able to redownload them either.

Have you checked if the version you purchased is still available, if not, you can't redownload it.

I bought the movie Avatar by James Cameron a while ago and ITunes deleted it out of nowhere. I am not the one that deleted it. Is there any way to get it back without having to pay for it again? Thank you for your assistance.

I am getting very aggravated by this, as I am not the one that did anything, yet they want me to pay for this movie again. I personally feel that this is a morally bankrupt thing for apple to do, unless it was a simply an error, in which case I expect to have my movie back.

I also lost all my movies a month or two ago when I upgraded iTunes, a pain in the arse getting everything back, but since then I back up everything religiously. Apple didn't delete my movies, they just disappeared the way these things do sometimes when you upgrade software.
Avatar, however, is not available from teh iCloud and you would have been warned of this when you bought it - my son has it on his iPad and he wants to remove it to free up space but the only way we can get it again is to pay for it again (unless someone has a smart idea of how I can sync his iPad with my PC and capture a version of it like that?.....without losing all my itunes on the PC?.....).

I've had my Macbook pro for about 3 1/2 years now. It has worked great until recently. A few months ago I noticed that the fan would always run really fast when I was doing simple tasks. After a few weeks/months, the fan was still really fast but it also started to make these loud noises. Hi Jen. My daughter just compleated her nursing program and is now working as a full time nurse. Focus and study hard and soon you will be there too. Now to the problem at hand. I have the same problem. I gave up on it and satisfied myself with my iPod without the upgrade. Reason being I've read so many posts of people having problems after the upgrade. But I'm sure other factors are involved. Nevertheless here is the fix most say works to solve the problem: What ever virus protection you have installed on your computer, disable it. Then try to install the update. After that enable the protection. I had Kaspersky, and it does it's job well. The thinking is, the virus protection is blocking the upgrade. Hope this works. Charlie

If you are in the US, download and install the latest version of iTunes on your computer, if you haven't already, go to the iTunes Store, log into your account, and click the new Purchases link under the Quick Links. The new iTunes in the Cloud service, currently in beta as part of iCloud, may allow you to re-download your purchased content (music, movies and TV shows are only available to US users at this time).

Updated to iOS 6 this morning and now it can't find networks.

When I go to wi-fi, it just continually searches for networks that I know are there and accessible. I have tried a hard reset, as well as turning wi-fi on and off and reseting network connections. Help!

if that doesnt work,
i would suggest you turn your wifi router off..and phone off wait a min start the router wait till its up
start the phone.
but you are not seeing the broadcast messaging to connect (which is the issue) and I dont believe you played with any of the wifi default settings.
you could attempt to restore the iphone to an earlier point in time with your backups to see if that eliminates the problem....(there are lengthy processes that we could get into) --- example of a thread https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3042520?start=555&tstart=0
or you may want to go to the apple store or do an express lane ticket (os6 upgrade)

That is entirely different ffrom your original question.
Just give your daughter a copy of the song files, which she will add to her library. Use a USB flash drive to do so.
