HT4539 Unable to download movies previously purchased under I-tunes

My I-tunes shows 4 movies that I bought, however when I go under videos it says that there are no videos. When I go under I-tunes it only allows me to download one of the videos (the other ones, the download symbol it's grey out) After it says it downloaded that one video, it still doesn't show under videos

What instructions are your using ?
Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be redownloaded in all), and if you haven't changed countries since buying it (and if the rights-holder hasn't removed it from your country's store), then you might be able to redownload it via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your Mac's iTunes. If you haven't authorised your account on your Mac's iTunes then you can do so via the Store > Authorise This Computer drop-down menu option at the top of your Mac's screen in iTunes.
Or, and if you still have the music on your iPad, connect it to your Mac and do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases to copy it over

    Hi Judy,
    Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
It sounds like you want to download a recent audiobook purchase on your iOS devices. The article linked below provides a lot of information about downloading past purchases and ways to resolve issues with purchases, it also outlines the ways to get audiobooks purchased from the iTunes Store transferred to your iOS devices.
    Download past purchases
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519
    Audiobooks, ringtones, and tones
If you made a backup of these items on your Mac or PC, you can sync the items to your iOS device. You can't download these items again from iTunes in the Cloud.
    I hope this helps.

  • HT201272 I'm unable to download my previous purchases.

    Hi All,
I noticed i have some missing songs in my iTunes library on my PC after updating the other night, so after uninstalling the older version of iTunes 10.5.3.3 (I had been overseas for a few months and wasn't around to update) and then reinstalling with the latest updated version - 10.6.3 as instructed, i am still missing those files.  So i then followed the advice about using the new 'purchsed' tab and i can access the area no trouble and clearly see all my missing songs listed BUT i am unable to download them as the download tab is greyed out and doesn't highlight.  All my purchased files are like that.  They were also like that for the older version of iTunes i was using a few hours ago.  I'm logged in.  My PC is authorised.  All the purchased songs/files are listed.  They are all still available on iTunes.  I have the latest version of iTunes.  Have i missed something totally?  I'm rather new to this all so i may have missed an extremely basic step.
    Please and thank you.
Oh and one more thing, i wasn't able to send in a support request as iTunes didn't have any record of me even though i was logged in and it was saying hello to me in the top right corner as well as allowing me to purchase more songs.  I'm quite sure it isn't me that is causing the problem.

    Thank you so much.
I did exactly as you stated and had no troubles whatsoever.  Everything is now back to normal and as it should be.

  • Download movie previously purchased

How can download movies I already purchased with my account on the same iPad? I deleted some films in order to save space, thinking I would have been able to download them again, but I can't!

Movies are not available for redownloading in all countries. You can see what content you can download here:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5085
If it shows that movies should be available for redownloading in your country, post back and we'll go from there. Otherwise, you may be out of luck and will have to repurchase them if you didn't make any backup, but go here:
    iTunes Support
and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store. Perhaps there will be something they can do for you.
    Regards.

  • HT201318 I purchased more storage, and it shows on my iPad. However I am unable to download movies I purchased. Help?

I purchased additional storage on my iPad 2 and it shows that I now have it, however I am not able to download new movies.  Help?

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
Movies are saved on your iPad storage, not iCloud, so you won't be able to download the movie if you haven't got enough space on your device. Open Settings > General > Usage, and delete things from your device. Contact with Apple if you want to get a refund > http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/contact

  • I am having trouble downloading a previously purchased movie from the Cloud.

The movie in question is "The Mist." I have purchased a lot of movies from iTunes lately, and to save room on my Mac, I have moved all the movie files onto a portable hard drive and simply deleted them from my Mac. Thus, whenever I want to watch a movie, I just transfer it from my hard drive back onto my Mac no problem, and watch the movie. Somehow, "The Mist" got deleted from my hard drive, so I figured "No worries, I'll just download it from the Cloud and get the file back. I've done it before!"
iTunes does this frustrating thing where even if you delete the video file from your computer, the movie thumbnail still shows up in your movies library, and I guess the Cloud considers this as you still having the movie on your computer, because when I went to my purchase history, it said the movie was already downloaded on my computer, when in fact it was not (it also said this for all my other movies, which are not on my computer but on my PHD). Only after I deleted the thumbnail for the movie did it show up under "Not on this computer" and allow me to hit the download button. Then I get this message saying "This computer is already associated with an Apple ID. You can download past purchases on this computer with just one Apple ID every 90 days. This computer can be used with a different Apple ID in 80 days." It will not let me download my previously purchased movie!
I have already tried logging out and back in again, that did nothing. Do I seriously have to wait 90 days to redownload my movie again? Like, is that a thing? What if you have a hard drive wipe, and have to redownload everything from the Cloud again; would you seriously only be able to redownload all your movies in 90 day incriments? What if I need to redownload multiple purchased movies at once, do I have to wait 90 days in between each one?
Am I the only one having this problem? If so, any help would be appreciated.
If this is not a "problem" and merely a "thing" iTunes does for security reasons, then this is a complaint. I have legally purchased this movie under the same account that I'm currently trying to redownload it through, I find it ridiculous that I should have to wait 90 days; you don't have to wait this long for downloading multiple apps/songs/books. Alternatively, trying to redownload the movie from its store page on iTunes is not an option, because as far as I can tell, iTunes does not let you redownload already purchased movies from their store page, as with apps/songs/books. If you try to re-purchase a movie, in the hopes that it will simply let you download it for free, seeing as how you've ALREADY purchased it, instead it'll gladly charge you again for movie. So no, I am not willing to purchase the movie again, I would just like to re-download it from the Cloud as I've done with other movies before it. I don't know what makes this one different.

I agree. I don't rely on iCloud as a backup, that is what I have my portable hard drive for. Its 500 GB so I can hold my entire iTunes library several times over on it. I have all my movies on my hard drive, but somehow "The Mist" got deleted off of my hard drive, so I figured "Well, the option to redownload an already purchased movie is available through iCloud, I'll just do that!"
And permissions and download availability have nothing to do with it, the movie's still there, it still allows me to redownload it. The only problem is when I click download, I get that message.
And nobody else uses my computer, but I do have multiple accounts authorized on it. Even still though, I am attepmpting to download it through the account I purchased it under. :/

  • Hi, I recently left my computer on my car and drove into heavy traffic.  After several hundred cars ran it over, I noted than I was unable to access my previously purchased copy of Photoshop Elements 10.  How can I download a replacement copy?

It's true.  I was loaded down like a mule, approaching my car, needing a free hand, and thinking "I'll just set this on the roof for a moment..."
I drove about 1/2 mile and turned left into rush-hour traffic.  No sound, no horns, no frantic hand gestures from fellow drivers, and no sinking feeling whatsoever for several minutes.  And then like that sudden stop at the end of long fall, it hit me.  I quickly turned around as though haste may matter - and it did.  Had five more minutes passed, there'd have been nothing larger than a grain-of-sand-sized evidence that my computer had once existed.  For the next 30 minutes, I dodged many hundreds of cars in my firm commitment to gather every last one of the 2,653 pieces that I would need for a successful reassembling.
At some point during my repair attempt, I noted that I was unable to access my previously purchased copies of Photoshop Elements 10 and Premiere Elements 10.
And since Dell.com's record of this purchase was apparently destroyed that day as well, I'm at a loss.  Unless... "Ok, maybe I actually registered this purchase at Adobe.com...  But that would be weird as I never do such things in the name of maintaining privacy at every chance I encounter... But, I'll try... yep, 'Forgot your password,' Click... of, 'Follow this link,' Click... Minor rush that it might work... Hope fading fast... Gone!"
When the only proof of purchase I can present is my promise that I did once purchase, is it possible for me to download these two programs without having to re-purchase?
I lost a lot of things that day... money, work, memories, la la la.  Apparently I've now lost my dignity as well as I plead with some faceless corporation for a freebie.
Does anyone at Adobe have a heart?  If so, I would invest my gratitude towards your benefit for the remainder of my years.

As long as you know your serial number you can download PSE from here:
    Download Photoshop Elements products | 11, 10

how can i download a previous purchase to my new computer?
I can't find it in my purchased category but they appear as purchased on th ei tune store??

What type of item is it ? What you can re-download will show under the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes. As long as they are still in the store then your apps and ibooks should appear there, and potentially music, films and tv shows (media can't be re-downloaded in all countries) - audiobooks and ringtones are currently one-time only downloads, so they won't appear.
If they don't show then have you still got copies of the items somewhere e.g. on your old computer (copying between computers) or on a backup of your downloads ?

  • How do I download a previously purchased PSE to a new PC?

How do I download a previously purchased PSE to a new PC?

You must install it from your original installation media. You can't move an installed copy of PSE--it's too complicated of a program, with bits and bobs all over your hard drive. If you bought PSE as a download and it's a version less than three years old, you can go to the main page of adobe.com and look for My Adobe and there may a be a download link your store account.

  • HT201272 Can I still download my previous purchase from my previous country (returning back) without repurchasing it?

Can I still download my previous purchase from my previous country (returning back) without repurchasing it? I'm curious since my purchase of iPhoto has disappeared on my mac, will I be able to get it again without repurchasing?

How are you trying to redownload them e.g. you are using the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes :
If you are in a country where music can be redownloaded then that should let you redownload them from the store.
If they redownload in the same shortened state then you can contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

I have over 1500 songs that i have purchased through itunes and quite a few videos and TV shows, how can i get these on my ipad.

Open the iTunes Store on your device.
Make sure you are signed in with the same account used for the original purchase.
Tap Purchased from the bottom navigation bar.
On iPad, tap the media button in the upper-left corner.
    Tap Music.
Once you've located the music you are looking for, tap the download button.
Note: To download all songs from a purchased album, tap on the Album's toggle button to switch to Album view. Previous purchases may be unavailable if they have been refunded or are no longer on the iTunes Store. Downloading previously purchased movies and TV shows requires iTunes 10.6 or later.
