HT4557 When I set my airplay onscreen code it disables the password and vice versa

When trying to sync my Apple TV with my Mac...in trying to set the onscreen code the pass is nulled and when setting password the onscreen code is nulled.

Normally if a Mac boots to a desktop screen with an option to enter a 4 or 6 digit code, then the machine has been locked by Find My Mac (an iCloud service).
The only way to have this unlocked is either type in the 4 or 6 digit code that was set up on the iCloud webpage when locking the mac or take the machine to an Apple Store or authorized service provider to have them unlock the machine but they will need to verify that your account locked the machine etc.

It's my understanding that an iPhone can only sync with one computer. You need to choose one computer. Sounds like it syncs at work, but not at home. If you want to just sync it at home, then you have to make sure the home computer has all the info that you want on it, like music etc. Then you have to deauthorize the work computer for it to sync at home. When you connect it will ask if you want to set up as a new iPhone or restore from backup. If you don't have a backup on the home computer then either way you will be wiped clean. So any photos, contacts, notes etc you have will be erased. You would need to backup or copy your photos from your iPhone. When you connect it to your home computer, it will give you that popup message to open your iPhone files. Then you can copy those photos and save them onto your computer and sync them back in through iTunes.
For your contacts, do you use any type of address book? If so you'll want to back that up and then transfer to your home computer. For notes, you can just email those to yourself and then save that email. I use MobileMe so the contacts issue is easily resolved.

You are right, but how could i send it to Apple? when the phone company first replaced my iphone they had in stock alots of iphones and they just sent mine back to Apple and gave me a new one, so all i did is to give them my phone, but now how could i sent it to Apple? and i cant send it by myself, and the store wont do that, its a lost for them.. so sending it to Apple wasnt an option from the begining.
and for the record, i dont think the store where i bought it is an authorized shop.. its just a store who boughts phone's from Apple in a low price and sells it in much more money..

Keyboard - when I press the z key the y character appears on the screen and vica versa.

I upgraded the software on by Q10 yesterday and now have a problem with the z and y characters. Any ideas how to fix this?

Isn't it a keyboard layout setting?
Like a shift between AZERTY and QWERTY for example. Check in the language input section of the preferences and see if you can find a solution there.

Stupid newbie question here: When setting up for hot sync, both PC and smartphone will ask for "device name" but how do I know which devide I'm naming? If I'm on the phone, do I specify the phone or the computer; and vice versa.

It's more like naming the partnership. By "naming" your device is doesn't do anything harmful. If you name it Pat's Treo, when syncing it tot he computer, hotsync will say "Syncing with Pat's Treo." You can name your device Fido for all it matters.

When I use punctuation at the end of a line of text, it jumps to the front and vice versa?

This has been happening on and off for the past couple of months.
When I type a scentence that either begins or ends with any kind of punctuation, the punctuation jumps to the opposite side of the text.
ie. What's New? becomes ?What's New
Sometimes closing photoshop works to fix it, sometimes restarting my computer works, and sometimes it just stops on its own.
I end up having to creeate the punctuation in a seperate text layer and my layers end up a little messy.
I'm using Photoshop CS6. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I'll post what I did here in case anyone happens upon this thread with the same problem.
Go to Edit > Preferences > Type - make sure 'Middle Eastern' is selected
If it's not selected, select it and restart photoshop. If it is selected, close preferences and move to the next step.
Go to Type > Lauguage Options - Select Middle Eastern Features
Go to your Paragraph Panel, and make sure this is selected:

Have you tried changing the admin password in System Preferences > Users & Groups > Password ??
The Apple ID that is associated with your admin password is noted there.

I can call my ipad with my iphone alll the time. That's how I check up on my kids at home when I"m at work. You just set up to your iphone's facetime setting with your phone number and set up your ipad's facetime settings with your apple id (in this case it's your email)

The ability to do that would depend on the type of email account that you have. If it is a POP account, it cannot be done. If it is an IMAP account, it should sync across devices automatically. If you are not sure what type of account it is, who is your email provider?

I also have the same issue. Even if the language is set to English, the calendar and time (in the top middle part of the screen) are in arabic.

The TIme Machine volume does not have that checkbox.
I think the issue is with your Finder...
Go to Finder "Go" menu hold the option key and choose Library. Then go to Preferences trash these files:
com.apple.finder.plist
com.apple.sidebarlists.plist
Then, restart, or log out and in again.
(You will have to reset a few finder prefs the way you like them.)

Firstly, go to http://iforgot.apple.com and sign in with the ID you use for iCloud. A new password will be sent to your associated email address.
If that doesn't work, for example because it's going to an address you can't access, then you will have to contact Support. Go to https://expresslane.apple.com ; click 'See all products and services' at the bottom of the page. In the next page click 'More Products and Services, then 'Apple ID'. In the next page select 'Other Apple ID Topics' then 'Lost or forgotten Apple ID password' and click 'Continue'.
