HT4623 activation of i phone after restore factory settings

i restored my i phone factory settings but now its not activating showing no sim services and display message that we are sorry at the movement try again later please tell me what to do now with this phone

"We're Sorry, Activation Server Temporarily Unavailable, contact Customer Care...Your request Could Not Be Completed?"
99.9% of the time, the cause of this issue is the fact the phone was jailbroken/hacked to unlock it for use on networks other than the network the phone was originally locked to. Apple maintains a database of officially unlocked iPhones, and when Apple's servers detect phones such as yours, activation stops & you get the message you got.
So, you need to get a sim card from the carrier the phone was originally locked to, or get it officially unlocked, if you want to activate it. Because it appears that it was not officially unlocked.

i cant activating my i phone after restore y?

Why not? What have you tried? What happened when you tried?
If there is an error message, what is the exact wording of that message?
You need to provide more details before someone can offer a solution.

And you're not going to get a response from Apple on this forum.  Again, this is a user-to-user technical support forum.

  • I phone 4 restoring factory settings

I am looking for some help. Like others on these forums I have just passed an old iphone on to a friend. I have been trying to restore factory settings.
When I use settings general - reset I have a restrictions pass code. I do not remember this. I have tried all the 4 number combinations I normally use.
I went onto I tunes and tried to restore factory settings - it just keep timing out
The phone is linked to an iTunes account that I don't have the email access anymore, icloud is also linked to this.  Do I have any options.
    Thanks

  • The screen on my Iphone 5 keeps freezing even after restoring factory settings and downloading latest update.

    Hi
The screen on my Iphone 5 is consistently freezing.  I have restored the factory settings but that didn't work.  I have downloaded the latest apple update.  Not sure what else to do or if it is a known issue?   It happens on any screen, even the lock screen and the only way to unfreeze it is to press the top button to switch to sleep mode then click the round button and enter in my pin again. Any suggestions would be most welcome!

Restore the phone as new, and do not restore anything from a backup.
If the phone still doesn't work properly, you will need to bring it to an Apple store to be evaluated as it most likely has a hardware issue.

  • Can't connect to Wifi after restoring factory settings and restoring backup (internet on computer working just fine)

Want to die.  I've wasted my entire Sunday trying to connect to Wifi on my phone.  I tried the reset network settings, restored the phone to factory settings then restored the backup and still no game.  I have restarted the **** thing and am very frustrated. Every time I've updated my software with Apple I end up having to replace my phone.  I have an appointment with the genius bar tomorrow ,but hopefully someone here can help me so I don't jump in a river before that time.

    Hmmm.....
It's worth a hard reset (press and hold the sleep/wake button and the Home button together, ignoring the 'slide to power down' message and then release them when the display blanks. Press the sleep/wake button until the logo appears and then wait for the restart which takes a little while...)
Apart from that, it may be worth clearing Safari's cache, etc..... (Settings > Safari > Clear History/Cookies/Cache)
    In any event, 'Good luck'!!
If all else fails it IS possible that some WiFi hotspots are VERY hot and emit more power than is really allowable in the Standards, resulting in 'frying' your WiFi receiver (possible but unlikely). If this is the case, return your iPhone to an Apple store with the 'WiFi not working' message but don't mention Starbuck's or anyone else.....just don't use Starbuck's WiFi service ever again!

  • Wifi not working after restoring factory settings

    Need some help.
I have an iMac with 10.9 and an older Airport Extreme base station (802.11n, I think it is 2nd Gen.  Square with an indentation around the sides toward the top).
I had been encountering problems so restored to factory settings.
I went through set-up and the unit glows green.  The airport utility shows Internet and Wifi both green.  The iMac can access the internet.
However, the problem is with other devices.
iPhone 5 and iPad mini both see the new wireless network but can't connect to it.  Spining and spinning and spinning.  The iOS airport utility for both devices show internet green and Wifi green.  However no connection on either  Both will connect to other wireless networks fine.
    Thanks in advance.

Try changing the name of the AirPort Extreme wireless network and also the password.
Keep the wireless network name short.....no more than 20 characters. 8-10 would be ideal. No special characters like an apostrophe, dollar sign, asterisk, etc.
Use only letters and numbers with no blank spaces in the name.
Same rules for the password, which must be at least 8 characters

  • Lenovo Vibe x : does not start after restore factory settings

Good morning, I face the following problem: I install on the computer Start Lenovo Smart Assistant where I found out that I can update to stable ROM V2.0_1507 so I started to do it. During the update I received a call and the update stuck. I took the phone off and it was working properly. But when I went to do it again I found out that there was not enough space to start the update . Then I thought as a solution to do a factory reset. When I did the phone is stuck to login logo (and even in a different than that in the beginning the phone (is a constant logo of "Lenovo "and below says "POWERED BY android")) and now I can not even open it nor the I see as a device to my computer.
    In the forum i did not read someone to have the same issue. Does anyone have idea how can I restore my phone ;;
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Finally it's over i just update a new ROM via flash tool and now is working fine

I just updated my iPhone 4 to iOS6.  In the process, I ran into a problem and had to restore factory settings.  After syncing the phone, I see that 218 apps need to be updated. When selecting "update all," it says "Cannot Download.  There is not enough available local storage to download these items.  You can manage your local device storage usage in Settings."
How can this be the case when I haven't changed any apps from before updrading to iOS6, and I don't have any music yet on the phone?  Why is it telling me there is not enough local space?

    Hi RileyAvaCadenRiver,
If you recently updated your iPhone to iOS7, you will need to update iTunes on your computer to iTunes 11.1 or newer for it to correctly recognize the iPhone. You may find the following link helpful:

  • I recently backed up my iphone to itunes, when after backing up a message showed that I needed to update my iphone. I clicked ok, and after updating, it said I had to restore my phone to its factory settings. I cannot find where it backed up pictures

I recently backed up my iphone to itunes, when after backing up a message showed that I needed to update my iphone. I clicked ok, and after updating, it said I had to restore my phone to its factory settings. I cannot find where it backed up all of my pictures from my phone.

If you backed up the device, all the data is in the backup. Restore the backup.
A better question is why would an intelligent person not copy the pictures from the device to the computer regularly, especially before attempting an update, as the device is designed to be used?

  • When I plug my iPhone into my computer to sync my iTunes I get a message that says "iTunes cannot read the content of the iPhone" and wants me to restore my phone back to factory settings. Any suggestions so that I don't have to restore?

When I plug my iPhone into my computer to sync my iTunes I get a message that says "iTunes cannot read the content of the iPhone" and wants me to restore my phone back to factory settings. Any suggestions so that I don't have to restore? I have all of my stuff backed up on iCloud but I really don't want to go through the hassle of wiping it clean and putting everything back on.

This is a post from a user named edgar999 and it worked PERFECTLY:
"OK - this is how it works:
In order to backup from iCloud you cannot use iTunes!
Therefore disconnect your device from your computer.
Turn on your device and go to Settings and then go to General.
At the bottom of this submenu there is a buttom "Reset"
If you push that buttom you see 6 different Erase settings to chose from!
Chose "Erase All Content and Settings" because this will wipe everything from your device and will let you restore from iCloud!  (I tried the top "Reset All Settings" but that did not let me use iClouds afterwards!)
Once you pushed that buttom your device will be wiped clean and after some time you will see the Device Welcome Screen like on a new device!
After choosing your location you will be asked to setup your WiFi-conection. After  you joint to your Wifi you will be given the choice to restore the iPad from a backup from the iCloud. Choosing this backup will prompt you with your apple ID and password.
Restoring from a backup can take some time.  The process uses your Wi-Fi connection to download settings, content and data.  If you had a lot of content on your device, this can take a while.  The restore screen should give you estimates at each stage of the restore process, starting with restoring the settings and then booting into the iPad.  When the iPad home screen appears, the device will continue the restore process by downloading all of your applications.
If you are restoring from a backup because you have run into problems with your device that can only be solved by restoring it, you can first choose your latest backup. If you still have problems, you can move on to the next latest backup, repeating the process until (hopefully) the problem is cleared."
    THANK YOU edgar999!!!!

  • Locked out of phone, can't restore factory settings

my iPhone 4 is seized up and I can't restore because it won't let me enter my passcode. This occurred after I accidentally enabled the voice-over and tried to turn that function off. After repeatedly turning phone off, then on, it still occurs. The voice-over remains on, and when I try to enter my passcode, it doesn't take my input unless I tap the number several time until the field/cell is populated.  Once I enter all cells with my passcode, the phone says that the code is incorrect and locks me out for progressively longer periods.  Since I can't unlock the phone, I'm unable to restore factory settings.  Of course I would like to not have to do this since I don't want to lose all the data on my phone.  Does anyone know how i can unlock the phone and/or restore it?

Thank You very Much sir. it works on my iphone 4.
