HT4623 After I updated my iPad using my computer, it has started to lag a lot and run very slowly. Why is it doing this and is there any way to make it stop lagging?

I updated my iPad mini last night using my laptop (I usually update it on the iPad itself) and after the update, the iPad has been slow and laggy ever since. When I try to type something, it freezes up and may not actually show that i typed it for another minute or two. Even if I close all my apps and restart it, the problem is still there. Does anybody know what's going on and/or how to solve this problem?

I have finally taken the step of updating my iPhone 4S to iOS8 after learning the hard way last update to wait for the bugs to be worked out. I was horrified to find that the battery was being sucked dry in no time at all. After finding a great article posted elsewhere on the apple forums, I went through and turned off all unnecessary options involving the use of cell data, location services and background refreshing. My battery life has thankfully returned to what it was before the update.
HOWEVER, now, every time I open an app for which I turned these things off, the window informing me of that pops up.   I am getting really irritated by this as I made all of these decisions deliberately and am well aware that I may need to go back and change them in order to activate certain capabilities when I want to use them. I had done the same thing with the last iOS, but there were far fewer that needed to be turned off and the battery life seemed to be less affected by those that I left on so it was not the annoyance it has become now.
Is there any way to make the phone stop presenting me with these idiot messages?   TIA

The game has sound controls in its options and I have turned all the sounds off, but it still mutes playback of my music/podcasts whenever I go into the game. Is there any way to stop it? other games I play do not do this.

I don't know what version you have, but you cannot install a Windows edition on a Mac, you need the Mac edition.
If you have Photoshop CS6, you can swap it for a Mac version, otherwise you would have to purchase a full Mac version ($700) or enroll in the $10 per month Photography program from Adobe to use Photoshop CC.

You can change the address bar drop-down so it only suggest bookmarked sites instead of everything in your history. You can't update a wifi-only iPad to have 3G, it doesn't have the necessary hardware within it. If you are within the returns period for wherever you bought it from then you could take it back for a refund and buy the 3G version. Otherwise you can use an iPhone as a personal hotspot for it, or you can get mifi devices which take sim cards and act as mobile hotspots for computers and devices.

I absolutely HATE the new look forced on me by updating to IOS 7. Is there any way to get back the cooler, more stylish, more grownup look of IOS 6? Used to be, when I picked up my iPad and hit the home button, I was happy. Now, it just stresses me out. : ( I just went into the calendar for the first time since updating. HATE it. There is no going back. You can search the App Store for appropriate apps that may look better to you. Personally, I have had no problems with how things look.

Your only way is if you have the version that was compatible on your computer such as in the recycle bin/trash or in a computer file backup. In that case delete the current version that is in your iTunes App library and replace it with the older version. Then sync.

Mediasmart Panel Glitch: Any way to make it stop???

I am using an HP Pavillion dv8 Laptop. Included with the laptop was a Mediasmart Panel which includes a Treble/Bass slider and a button to turn Wireless on and off. I've heard there is a common issue with the panel were the Treble/Bass button will short and act like it's being turned on and off, as will the wireless.
This issue occurs fairly frequently on my laptop and I'm becoming increasingly annoyed with it. Is there any way to get the glitched part of the Panel disconnected/make it stop turning on and off on its own? I still want to be able to mute/turn on my sound and move my volume up and down, I just don't want to be fighting with the treble/bass slider and having to deal with wireless being turned on and off while I am trying to surf the internet.
