HT4623 After I updated the software to iOS 7.1.1 why I am still having the problem of charging the phone twice w/in a day?
I just bought my iPhone 4s last April 29, 2014 and have the iOS 7 preset software but then I fully charge the phone and after couple of ours the battery is empty, at first I was shocked since this is a new phone and apple products are known for having a long battery life, so I've done my research then there's a new update which is iOS7.1.1, so I updated my phone's software since it fixes "battery problem" but then I am still suffering for having a shorter battery life. I am very dissapointed having this problem, i have an ipad but i didnt experience such problem. Please help me to have this problem resolve so that I can enjoy my new phone. Thanks!
Thank you for your quick answer. I happen to have a brand new cable (orignal), I just syncronized my other phone and it worked just fine. At least I know is not the cable or the connection. It keeps showing the same error.
Also there's no way I can turned off I try to reset it but the apple keeps poping up.

SO PLEAZZZZZ HELP!!!!!An iPod can only pair with an iPhone for internet sharing provided that the iPhone has the subscribed to the tethering plan. The BT profiles do not permit file tansfer between IDevices by BT. The only BT pairsin is by app and those ar for peer-to-peer gaming.

I connect my iphone 4 to the itune. It asked me to download a new update for my phone. After I downloaded the update, the itune no longer able to detect my iphone through the USB. My phone is un-responsive showing the plug into the itune icon only on the screen. Please help.

Happen on my iPad. When I plugged it back in to iTunes I got a message that it needed to restore. I tried restoring and got "Fatal Error 20008". At that point I called Apple. They are shipping me a new iPad.

The iphone is designed to be sycned to your computer regularly.
The contact will be in whatever program he has chosen to sync. Sync them back to the iphone form there. -

After updating my software to iOS 6 when I take a photo in an app on my iPhone such as Instagram and camwow when the photos go my camera roll they are black..why?
I upgraded an iPhone 4 from IOS 4 to IOS 6 and had similar problems here is what I did.
Problem:
Using the Camera App from the initial screen (a view finder for me) there is an icon on the lower left side with my last photo taken. When I select this icon the image is displayed and on the upper left side of the screen the Camera Roll button appears.
I select the Camera Roll button and all my images show up as black on a white background. I can select a black square and my image will apear.
Using the Instagram App when I try to select from my Camera Roll I see the same black boxes, and Instagram is not saving photos to my Camera Roll.
Fixing Instagram not saving problem:
Go to Settings:Privacy:Photos
Move the Instagram slider to ON
Back to the images not showing in the Camera Roll.
Someone suggested doing a reset (hold down sleep and home button for 10 seconds). After doing the reset the problem was worse. From the Camera App selecting the last photo icon from the view finder screen and the Camera Roll screen apears but says there are no saved images.
Fixing the Camera Roll not showing correctly problem:
Set Settings:General:Restrictions to ON (You will be prompted to create a password)
Select Settings:General:Restrictions ON>
Toggle the Camera slider to ON if it isnt already

You are in Recovery Mode. Follow the instructions below to recover your iPad.
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off, release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button.
5. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad. Data will be lost. -
i have an ipod touch and just updated my software to ios 7.1.2. Now I get the message that my adapter, accessory does not support my device. Is there a new adapter that I need to buy that works with the ios 7.1.2?
This is not my problem. However, I think it may be related to an old speaker. I was using the 30 pin adapter for about a week after the upgrade to 7.1.2. But I think with the update the speaker won't work anymore. I will try with a new speaker system. Thank you for trying to assist.

I have iPhone 4s, after i updated my software to 7.0.4 my wifi stopped working. The wifi icon at the top is gone. Its annoying that i have to us my data all the time. I've tried the network reset, it didn't work. My phone works fine, just a lilttle bit slow before i upadated to 7.0.4. And now not only the wifi, the phone itself is slower than ever. I wish i didn't udgrade to iOs 7. There's too much problems. There's this one time that I can't send iMessage at all.

I'm afraid that unless you are able to contact the previous owner and have him wipe the device, or provide you with his Apple ID password so you can delete the iCloud account, you are out of luck.
With iOS 7, an Activiation Lock was added to deter thieves. This lock prevents anyone but the owner of the device from deleting the iCloud account and restoring the device:

Unless you are able to reach the original owner and get the device wiped or the iCloud account deleted, you are stuck with a brick.

I cannot ON my WiFi after I had update my software to iOS 7.1.1 on my iPhone 4s
My iPhone 4 s is funtioning properly for more than one year. Recently, I had Update my software to iOS 7.1.1and now I cannot ON my WiFi. The ON button on the WiFi is in active. I have friends who are also facing the same problem.
Troubleshooting 1:
Turn off the airplane mode by tapping Settings > Airplane Mode, then do the network resetting by tapping Setting > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings, and finally restart the iPhone 4S.
Note: If you reset the network setting, all recorded data will be removed, such as the Bluetooth pairing records, Wi-Fi passwords, VPN as well as the APN settings.
Troubleshooting 2:
You also can try this Wifi solution for iPhone 4S: Setting > General > Reset > Reset All Settings.
Note: This troubleshooting may fix the Wifi problem, but it will remove all of your preferences.
Troubleshooting 3:
If you have tried the above solutions, but still face the iPhone 4S Wifi issue, you can check if your 4S is upgraded to the newest available software. You can restore the iPhone 4S after checking the software updates in Apple iTunes.
Note: Restoring the iPhone 4S as a new phone is a slow process and it will reset your 4S to the factory setting. But you need to reload all your contacts or media information to the iPhone 4S after connecting your device to the computer.
Troubleshooting 4:
Some forums threads suggest another solution to fix the “gray out” iPhone 4S Wifi issue: placing the iPhone 4S in a refrigerator or freezer for several minutes, for they considered the 4S WiFi issue after iOS 7 update is caused by the heating issues.
Note: The lower temperature in the refrigerator or freezer may cool down the heating WiFi radio chip and will temporarily solve the WiFi problem for iPhone 4S, but the warm and cool temperature shift between the refrigerator or freezer and the room may cause the potential damage to your iPhone 4S.
