HT4623 After ios update on my ipad mini i am unable to connect to internet via cellular connection
i Have update ios 7.0.2 on my ipad mini. But after update of ios 7.0.2 i am unable to connect to internet via cellulau connection. Cellular connection appears on my screen but i get error as "Could not activate cellular data network you are not subscribed to a cellular data service". Cellular connection was working prior to ios 7.0.2 update. Please help.
GOT MINE FIXED -
THE 7.0.3 update reported my iPhone as LOST or STOLEN to Verizon.
They suspended my iPhone service immediately (as I would expect them to) and THAT is why I couldn't get on.
Called Verizon wireless - they restored me in 30 seconds - EVERYTHING WORKS AGAIN.
They said "we've been doing this ALL MORNING."
Hope this works for others, too!

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

IPad mini wifi problem - "Unable to Connect"
I have an iPad mini and the WiFi disconnects as soon i go little far from wifi router, it always says "Unable to Connect", As soon i come near by it connects, that too it should a distance of 1 meter or max 2, if you move from that distance it disconnects, occuring same in office and at home. I have reset all setting and network setting too.
Reboot your router by unplugging it for a couple of minutes, then try to reconnect when it comes back up.

Wrong time after iOS 7 download on iPad Mini
I downloaded iOS 7 and after doing so the time was set PST when I am on EST. I manually reset the time zone to New York and set it to automatically adjust time but the circlular download icon just keeps turning and turning. I shut down and restarted but I still have the issue with the icon. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
My iphone 4s decided for some reason that rather than being in the UK as I am, it would be in the pacific/west coast timezone. Manually set it to LONDON and turned off the auto settings.
now all I need to know is what 4 year old designed the new interface? Icon group folders (grey), lower hotbar (grey), icons about twice as big as they should be. Glad the font size is scaleable. Also, no iphone, I really don't have 716 unread emails in my inbox..... -

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray before doing the reset.
Delete and reinstall the app

I had that problem with iOS 7. I have no problems with location services using the latest iOS update on my iPad Mini 1st Gen. Try a hard reset: To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo. If that does not work, then reset your settings by going to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Location & Privacy. If that does not work, then go to the Apple Store and they probably will be able to find out what is wrong with it.

I followed the directions to install the IOS 7.0.6 update to my Ipad Mini, but when I click on install and agree to terms & conditions, it says it is unable to verify the update because I am no longer connected to the internet. Not true. Help.
Ok, got it now. I turned the Mini off and rebooted. Seems to be working fine now.

After the recent update on my Ipad Mini. It crashes frequently. The latest is that during saving, it crashed. Now I can't open my project file. It says, Not a valid Adobe Photoshop Touch file. What happened?!!

Since updating to IOS 8.1 on ipad mini can't download apps from iTunes store. Apps show "waiting." Have reset to new condition with no improvement. Also turned off Wi-Fi and re-connected. Any solution? Thanks,
If you restored your iPad as new, and it still didn't help, I don't know if anything in here will help. in any event, I have posted this boilerplate of suggestions many times in the past and the suggestions in here have worked for others at one time or another. Feel free to give them a try.
1. Tap the "waiting" icon and see if you can pause it. If it does pause, then tap it again and see if it will resume. If that works, repeat the same steps for each "waiting" icon.
2. Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
3. Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. If you see a downloads tab in the lower right corner, then there is a download in iTunes.
4. If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Sign in and then try to update again. Tap one waiting icon only if necessary to start the download stream.
5. You can also try deleting the waiting icons - tap and hold down on an icon until it wiggles - the tap the X on the icon to delete it. Then try to download again. Apps may also be able to be deleted in Settings>General>Usage>Storage if you cannot get the X to pop up on the icon.
6. You can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered.
7. Reset your router. Unplug it from power for about 30 seconds and then plug it back in again. -

Unfortunately on these days I'm in a country that Apple don't have any retail store here and for sake of time I prefer to fix it myself to DHL it to the nearest country to use its warranty. How do you mean? Once you have 8.0.2 on there it shouldn't be asking you to download 'old' software.
Did the older installer download already and is lurking on your device? Settings, general, usage. Populate the list and you should see and be able to delete it from there. -
I am having trouble with my iPod 5th gen after iOS update. It's in recovery mode and iTunes keeps timing out when I try to restore it. What should I do??? If possible, I would also like to keep all of my data.

As with all clickwheel iPods, you can reset this iPod by first toggling the hold switch on and off and then simultaneously pressing the select (center) and menu buttons for approximately 5-10 seconds. This is a common fix should your iPod behave unexpectedly or lock up. Once reset, the iPod should display an Apple logo for a few seconds before showing the main menu. If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect to your computer & click on the "Update your device using iTunes".
Tip - You may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily. Then download and install the iOS update. After you update to iOS 5.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).

Can't connect to wifi after IOS update. Do you know a solution?
Loaded the new update and now it is sporatic connections with the wi fi. I have unplugged the router and all that, still no luck. It will work normally very briefly, but only briefly after I unplug the router, etc.
Do any of you have a solution to fix this?

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
