Dear Sir/Madam,
I was previously updated my friend's iphone 4 version 4.2.1 to version 6.1.3. How ever, before updated full back up was stored my computer.
But after updated software, I can't restore my import photos, contact and so on..... I restore my data, error show that " password was not corrected '
and acn't restore my data. Please help me solve my issue.
You have an encrypted backup. You will have to remember the encryption key that you entered the first time the prompt appeared for a backup password.

original wireless carrier. If this is the case, only that wireless
carrier can unlock your iPhone. You must contact them to see
if they offer unlocking and if you qualify.
Where did you acquire this iPhone?
What wireless carrier did you use before this problem?
Does the app Cydia appear on your iPhone?
What does it say when you look at Settings=>General=>About=>Carrier? -
HT4623 after updating to the new version from itunes, it says 'no service'. how do i activate it?
I updated my itunes first and then updates to the new IOS. I cant activate the phone as it gives the message 'sim not inserted' tried reinserting the sim and with a different sim. but not able to activate it. Pls. help.
First see if you're sim card went bad by inserting it into another phone to see if you get service on that device. If the other device picks up the sim card then you could try doing a factory restore on you're iPhone.

Firefox continues to become increasingly difficult to use, and appears to be less stable. I fell that I am being forced to migrate to Google Chrome. What is going on?
BTW, Firefox prevented support.mozilla.org from asking me to install software on my computer, so I was not able to automatically add troubleshooting information.

(philipp)</sub>No. After I select "Choose" the dialog box expands to provide only three choices. This is a new bug. I have only seen it in the past week or so, but it is maddening. I have observed that, while the Mozilla Foundation focuses on trivialities like which search engine should be the default, the Firefox application becomes buggier and buggier. Most of my family has switched to Chrome, and I will be following shortly. Firefox used to be a great program. Not any more. Getting assistance with a problem has also become very difficult.

All you have to do is double tap the home button to bring up the multi-tasking view, then swipe up on the screenshot of the app you want to exit.

Even on my computer,while handeling connected with my iphone,I coulden't find any restore file from this?

Had the same problem as you. App would terminate when launched.
Solution to working You Tube app:
-Go to playstore
- Uninstall app (it doesn't remove the app, only removes the update)
- "Et Voila", working again.
This doesn't correct the problem, it's just a workaround for you to be able to use youtube app again.

after update to the latest version on my ipad, it no longer connects to the internet nor can i send emails. when plugged in to sync with itunes, it remains 'stuck' at syncing step 2 of 7 backing up. has anyone had similar problems? any solutions?
I had this problem. I held down the power switch to power down completely. Takes a few seconds. Then use the power switch to turn on. Might take a couple goes.

Okay , you should only delete EMPTY DUPLICATED folders, not preview folders or any others. I would put them all back. Then just delete any DUPLICATED EMPTY folders, do not disturb any other folders. On iOS switch off DOCUMENTS AND DATA under ICLOUD in SETTINGS. Do this on all iOS devices not just the one. Once deleted DUPLICATE FOLDERS on the mac in MOBILE FOLDERS then exit the LIBRARY. Open PAGES on your MAC and view folders on icloud. Check everything is all there as expected. If okay then DELETE and re-install PAGES app on iOS - THEN switch on DATA and DOCUMENTS in ICLOUD. Now open PAGES. If you have Time Machine on you can recover any 'lost' doc files and restore them from your mac from pages application. Try the process again and do not disturb any folders other than ones I mentioned as this is the system files LIBRARY. It is not a place to be over zealous in moving, altering and deleting folders and files. Take care please.

That's exactly right. And since you have a MacBook Air (as I do), that means the synching should occur just fine (if you've set it up right in iTunes). In other words, once you actually do the update, the iTunes on your MacBook Air will re-sync your photos back to your iPhone.
Basically, the process is that your iPhone gets backed up, wiped clean, then the new iOS version gets installed, then the backup gets restored. That will restore everything in the article above, which does not include your photos. But the sync process that happens after the iOS installation would restore your photos from iPhoto given you've set it up that way in iTunes.
When you have your iPhone plugged into iTunes, while looking at the iPhone's summary page, click "Photos" on the right side of iTunes to see how you have your sync set up.
Regardless, it sounds like you'll be fine! Your photos will wind up in iPhoto once you place them there. They will be safe there. -

No problems here but you can re download the FB app from the App Store right on your iPhone.

iPhone 4s will not boot after trying to install ios7 beta 4. Stops at apple logo with progress line under it. how can I reset it or get it back up to do a restore then try the iOS 7 beta 4 install again. Issue was probably caused by disconnection
