Did you perform the update on a computer other than the one you normally sync to? Were the apps in the iTunes library on your computer BEFORE you performed the update?

Seems your story has changed... not seeing is not the same as not supported.
If the phone is carrier locked, you need a SIM from the carrier it's locked to to activate it. The sim does not have to be active, it just has to be one from that carrier.

First use JPanel not Panel.
Panel panels[]=new Panel[4];becomes
JPanel panels[]=new JPanel[4];Then refactor your code so that you use arrays correctly:
panels=new Panel();
panels.setLayout(new FlowLayout(FlowLayout.LEFT));becomes
panels=new JPanel();
panels[i].setLayout(new FlowLayout(FlowLayout.LEFT));
I did the above changes to your code and it worked fine.

Your iPhone was not officially unlocked and has now relocked to the original cell carrier. Call AppleCare, give them the model and serial number of your iPhone and find out which cell carrier it is locked with. Next contact that cell carrier and see what their unlock process is and if you qualify.

Are you able to take the card back to the store that you bought it from and ask them to activate it properly ? Is your Apple TV "awake"? Sometimes the AirPlay icon won't show for me if the Apple TV is sleeping - pressing a key on the Apple remote ususally resolves it.

The ONLY reason that gs.apple.com would be in your hosts file is if the computer was ever used to hack, jailbreak or otherwise mod ANY iPhone (not just the one you are having a problem with now).
The specific description of this error is:
Error 3194: Resolve error 3194 by updating to the latest version of iTunes. "This device is not eligible for the requested build" in the updater logs confirms this is the root of the issue.
You can also get this error if you have ever installed a version of iOS that was obtained other than through iTunes.

You have to understand the difference between an Update and an Upgrade.
An Update is a free change within an existing Operating System. Such as the .8 added to 10.5.
An Upgrade is a complete new Operating System that must be purchased. Such as 10.5 Leopard to 10.6 Snow Leopard.
You have to upgrade to 10.6.8 to be able to download iTunes 10.7. The Snow Leopard 10.6 DVD should still be available from Apple for $20. You will have to call Apple Customer Care 1-800-692-7753 or 1-800-676-2775 to purchase it. It may still be in the Legacy Products list. The App Store which is required to download 10.7 Lion or 10.8 Mountain Lion is part of the 10.6.6 update.
If they no longer have any in stock you will have to buy it from eBay or Apple resellers that still have stock. But you will have to pay a premium since the DVDs are no longer being made. Snow Leopard DVDs are already up to $100 on Amazon.
