Please send me a "pass code" for my iPad to enable me to use it. It's disabled by me inadvertently. Please help enable it/
"We" can't send you a passcode as we aren't Apple and Apple do not operate in these forums providing support, rather it's other users of iPad, just like you. As a sidenote, if you have just upgraded to iOS 7 during the mini setup process you are asked to CREATE a passcode as part of the setup process.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.
However, you will likely run again the Activation Lock

You either have to get the Apple ID and password of the previous owner and enter it or have them remove the iPod from their account.

I am trying to install Lightroom and I am OK until it asks for a serial number. I purchased Lightroom from B&H and the have entered the seal number on the the B&H invoice. Nothing happens, not all the entry boxes are filled with the serial number that was provided by B&H. I looked for a serial number on and in the box it came in, nada. Have iPod Nano Shuffle 6th Gen. I purchased it when I had Windows Vista. I have since upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate . Was fine with Vista. Now, it keeps shutting off during the song, 3 or 4 times. Have to press power button and then arrow to restart song. I went to my iTunes and ran diagnostics. Passed all until the end. The last test had a red dot failure. It said no iPod, iPhone, or iPad found. Does someone know how I can correct the problem? iTunes is always updating, so I am current.

The billing date of the CC is 4th of every month & the billing cycle was already triggered before cancellation , you had coincidentally cancelled today only, there was a charge taken from your account which I have promptly refunded.
The refunded amount shall be within 7 to 10 working days in your Bank , please be assured that you will not be billed further & the CC stands cancelled.

I recently changed my Apple ID (to my new email address), but my iPhones are still showing my old Apple ID and are asking for my old password. It no longer exists and now I can not add any Apps or get into iCloud because they previous ID no longer exists but that is what is popping up in Apple ID box and I cannot change it on the phone. How do I get my new Apple ID assigned to my phone(s)?

If it's iCloud that is asking for these details:
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID using your current password, you don’t need access to this address if it’s previously been used with your Apple ID, once you have saved these details enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone" and delete the account from your device.
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, save it once again and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

If it's iTunes asking for these details:
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > iTunes & App store, scroll down and tap your ID)
If you are using iMessages or FaceTime, you will also need to log out and into your ID there too. -
I have a first generation ipod nano which is being recalled, and after going thru the registration process was meant to get a barcode to send the old nano back with but it was blank. In the registration process it also mentioned about apple sending out packaging to return the old ipod. Just wondering if anyone has been thru this process and can offer advice?
Yes they will send you a box with return label. I have been waiting for a month for a box. Just got off the phone with customer service and they said it would be another 3-4 weeks before I receive a box for replacement. Once I send it in it will take another 6 weeks to get the replacement after they receive it. I also hear it a 1st gen nano that will be the replacement.Apple says they were overwhelmed by the response to the recall. Looks like they dropped the ball when they have to spend the money!

After configuring my Ipad2 to accept mail at my .me account, I can no longer get my MacBook pro Apple Mail to accept the passwrod.
I did not chnage the password when configuring iPad2 and it works perfectly.
Using 10.6.8 and iPad is running most current update.Since I upgraded the hardware myself - the warranty that covers the computer is basically nulled.
Warranty is not made void by upgrading memory or storage. If you have AppleCare then you should be fine.
Disk Utility is powerful, but not the most powerful tool out there. There might be other applications (sometimes expensive) that can fix the volume. If your Windows partition works but not the Mac partiiton that leads me to believe the issue is solvable.

when i go into firefox there is a page from a German Institute, in German, site which I never requested and I don't have any use for. The page is there everytime I open firefox and I cannot get rid of it. I have tried everything I know (which is not much) and it will not go away. Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. If you are unable to install the software update, you may need to plug the iPad Mini into a power source. If it is below a certain percentage in power it will require power to ensure that iPad Mini does not loose power when installing. Import the music on the external HD into iTunes. If you don't want iTunes to make a new copy of each track that is stored in your iTunes Media folder on your PC's internal HD, make sure the Copy files to iTunes Media folder when adding to library option is NOT ticked from under the Advanced tab of iTunes Preferences. Just remember that if you go this route, you'll always need to have your external HD plugged in before you start up iTunes.

I created my first movie using one long video (a montage of photos) clip created in Keynote and imported to Imovie. I added many music clips, some overlapping. I now want to lay down a new updated video clip, eliminate the original video, but retain the audio. Can I? And if so, how. I cant seem to
find the info anywhere in help.I would suggest that you go to iMovie/Preferences and make sure that Advanced Tools are enabled.
Then, you can drag your new video clip on top of your old clip and a popup menu should appear. Choose REPLACE.
