All of a sudden all of my facebook & email contacts are included with my phone contacts. I don't want that - how do I undo it?
Go settings, and in the app for facebook you can uncheck the contacts sync. Same for email, go to mail in settings, and go into the address you dont want to sync. Unsync.

I can not send email from my iPad . Have been using it for over a year, all of a sudden I can only receive email. I have a wifi connection in my home and have a A T &T cellular data plan?
I have a 1st gen iPhone that I just updated the software to 2.0.2
Now whenever I press the mail icon it goes to the mail app for about 4 seconds, does nothing, no loading of folders, old messages, nothing.
Then it reverts back to the home screen. Tried restarting, haven't tried restoring, thought I'd look here first.

Hmm, that is strange that your phone number is greyed out. There are a few things that we can try. First would be to turn iMessages off, then back on. See if you are able to select your phone number. Then if that doesn't work, turn iMessages back off, then reset the network settings....settings>general>reset>reset network settings, this will reboot the phone. Don't worry, it won't delete anything from the phone, it simulates a battery pull. Once the device comes back on, then turn iMessages back on. Keep us posted if that works!

On my Ipod touch 4g all of a sudden all my music sounds as if they were slowed down. What's wrong with my audio?
You need to turn off the Zoom accessibility feature. Tap the screen twice with three fingers to get to normal screen. Then go to Settings>General>Accessibility and turn Zoom off. You can also do that by connect the computer to iTunes and going to the Summary pane for the iPod and go to Configure Universal Access.

My MacBook Pro recently shut down on me all of a sudden. When I restarted it, it popped up with a gray box with 'OS X Utilities,' then listed various options such as 1. restore from time machine backup, 2. reinstall OS X, 3. get help online and 4. disk utility. what do I do now? I have not backed up to Time Machine in a few days, so I'm not sure I should restore from time machine backup, is there something else I can do? Help!

your MacBook Pro has booted into its Recovery mode. From the OS X Utilities menu, select Disk Utility. On the left-hand side of the Disk Utility window, select your internal disk’s boot partition (typically called “Macintosh HD”). On the right-hand side, press the Verify Disk button if it’s not greyed out; if it is greyed out, or if it reports that errors were found, press the Repair Disk button. Once the verification/repair is completed, exit Disk Utility and select Restart from the Apple menu to restart in normal mode. Does it get to the login screen now? -
All of a sudden i can't send email
all of a sudden i can't send email with my frontier accounts. it fetches incoming email fine but i can't reply or send new email. it just sits in the outgoing box never to be sent. i checked all my out going server- smtp.frontier.com, port-25, password and username settings with the isp and all are correct. even tried some new port numbers, was using 25, told to try 587 and 465 but none seem to work. i have 3 gmail accounts and they all work fine. is this a system failure with VZ or is something wrong with my droid x? or some other setting? please help. thanks, al
Email back to working again. I am able to send and receive with no issues. Strange behavior with email. No apparent reason for this happening other than the weather was bad yesterday, cloudy, overcast with thunderstorms. Maybe disrupted signal?

I do not know how the F got in front of all my bookmarks and again I go a facebook page. When I saved the bookmarks I was at a web page that had nothing to do with Facebook. ugh!!!!!!!!!!You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.

Your question is almost too much a personal one, begging the question "do we (husband and wife) feel comfy sharing one account on the Mac" maybe thats why nobody answered you.
It doesnt complicate anything, but it adds steps for switching accounts on the Mac/ purchases etc. of course
since your question is mostly personal, ..I wont answer THAT part of it, but creating a new account is easy.....messing with switching back and forth is also a personal preference 'issue' as well. I prefer to keep things simple, but...........you and yours, I dont know.......

I synced about 50 books to my new ipad air 2. When I click any other books, the sync starts all over again for all books (it shows 51 books syncing). If I abort the sync, all of a sudden, all books are gone from my ipad. I don't know why. I did not have this problem on my old ipad...or before I upgraded to the latest version of iTunes. Perform a hard reboot
Hold down the Home button and Power button on your iPhone or iPad and keep holding them until you see the Apple logo. Once you do, you can let go. When your device boots back up, go ahead and check to see if the apps have started re-downloading. If they still appear to be stuck, continue on. -

If you were not syncing and backing up your phone to either iTunes or iCloud, then they are gone. There is no "undo".

Hi - This is my first website and I have learned so much, but now I have a very irritating problem that I'm sure can be fixed by deleting a few lines of code, but I have no idea what to look for. All of a sudden all the links on one page of my site started turning white and enlarging almost 100% when you click on them. We page is at www.goEarthWorX.com/products. It happens to all the links on my page, and now there are weird white lines around one of the top products' names as well. Any help in what is going on would be very appreciated, as the site is almost complete and now I have this problem I just can't figure out on my own. Thank you so much!
