I have a new Mac Book Pro, I loaded my enterprise email on the system and it was working fine, but yesterday when I tried to send out an email I received a message that ask to pick another outgoing mail server. So I chose Gmail and it was sent. Is this a common problem when using the email on a wifi system?

StephenAre you sure your enterprise email was up and running at the time you tried to send? Are you sure you were connected to you wifi network and not another wifi network when you tried to send?

Activating an iPad and getting a message that the iPad is currently linked to another apple id, need to sign in to set up the iPad. I have put the Ipad into recovery mode and done a restore following the Ht1808 support instructions and tried to do a DFU mode restore but still get the activation message after the restore.

I am trying to restore my Calendar from my Time Machine back up. I can get through the process but at the end I get a message that Calendars cannot be removed or amended as it is required by OS10, there does not appear to be any option to authorise the backup or change. I have been emailing pictures from my ipad to my computer and have been going along nicely and now when I went to send 5 pictures to my computer from my ipad I am getting a message that says " cannot send mail The message was rejected by the server" cannot understand why this is happening and have not been able to fix. Now when I try to send pictues even to another email address I am getting the same message.
Help.Email may not be the best way to move pictures.

I have tried to update my iPhone 4 many times (from iOS 5.1 to latest version), but everytime it fails and says that it cannot be updated. unknown error (3194). please help.

I exported my iBook and got the .ibooks file on my Desktop(iMac Retina 5K), I tried to put the file into the iBooks application but I get a message that says "The file "______.ibooks" couldn't opened because it isn't in the correct format. I took the same file and transferred it in my MacBook Air and was able to put it in the iBooks application no problem, the MacBook Air runs OS X v 10.9.5
Please advise as to Why it would work on an older OS X version as oppose to the newer OS X Yosemite

I may be doing something wrong because looking at the "Purchased" in iBooks I only see all the books that I actually purchased, none of the iBooks that I created in iBooks Author shows up. I can re-download all the iBooks I've purchased and some in iCouds, but the ones I've created in iBooks Author are no where to be found.

I'm trying to get her ID's sorted out. Anyway, I am wanted to know if there's a work around for this. I know it's a safeguard created so people cannot endlessly log in and out of others accounts and share there music and stuff. So, any help?
There is no work around, you must wait the 90 days (or however long is remaining) before associating the device with another Apple ID.
Keep in mind that if you log into your mother's iPad with your iTunes Store Apple ID she will then be using that Apple ID for everything including purchases. Any apps purchsed with her Apple ID can not longer be updated on the device. -
I'm installing windows 7 64-bit on my imac which I've done before but I get a message that the partition is GPT even after I format the bootcamp partition. I just upgraded my hard drive to a 3tb and I'm allocating 1tb for windows. How can I fix this?
No easy fix for a few reasons:
1) Bootcamp requires a hybrid MBR for the partition table. That is: both an MBR and a GPT partition table at the same time with the GPT one having all partitions and the MBR one having only the ones that are relevant, but at most 4 of them (including the protective partition and the Macintosh HD one). Which leads us to:
2) The MBR part of the hybrid partition table cannot work with 3TB hard drives. MBR is limited to 2TB.
I am working on a small EFI app that can boot Windows in EFI mode on a Mac and that would mean that you can go GPT only on your system. The progress of the app is slow due to the nature of EFI and for now requires that you do an unattended Windows install with slipstreamed graphics drivers, but we are adding VGA loading on top of EFI quite soon after the rest of the app stabilises. The status of the app is documented at:
Win7 x64 booting natively via EFI (no bios emulation)
Windows does actually successfully boot in EFI mode on most Macs (anything with a 64bit EFI should work), but does not have graphics support even if you load the driver due to the VGA pci registers not being set by the firmware. Furthermore, in Setup and Safe Mode, Windows uses VGA instead of GOP which is a failure by design since VGA is a BIOS standard and not really compatible without hacks with EFI. Other EFI implementations also add VGA compatibility at a high cost to the firmware complexity for the VGA cards available on the market that don't actually contain anything in their ROM except the VGA BIOS.
My recomendations:
1) Install on a second smaller hard-drive; or
2) Wait for the EFI app to come out officially and use that to boot Windows Vista SP1 x64 and Windows 7 x64 (RTM and SP1) in the native EFI mode.
3) Wait for Windows 8 which supports VGA-less booting acording to the AMD presentation at UEFI Plugfest. -

Hi, are you doing it through Settings or via iTunes? If doing it through Settings, try plugging it in via USB and updating with iTunes. Hope this helps.
