Am trying switch from an earlier iPhone to an iPhone4. I have had the Simcard cut to the right size and put it in the iPhone 4 and gone to iTunes. I have clicked on Restore but I get the message that this cannot be done: "unknown error 1604" . What to do now, please?

Thanks, good suggestion, but after trying recommendationsthere  I still have the problem of error 1604 happening and no progess.
