HT4623 App updates will not install on IPad 2

Can't get apps to update

Well, you have told us nothing about the symptoms, so a guess is that it is one of these two issues:
1.  The iPad is restricted.  Check Settings > General > Restrictions
2.  You are trying to update more than one app at a time.  Put all the updates into the "Paused" state by clicking each of them.  Then update only one app at a time by clicking it, letting it download to comptetion, and repeating this process.

  • Updates will not install using App Store on 10.7.5

Updates will not install using the App Store.  I am using a MacBook Pro on 10.7.5.  When I click the button labeled "update" in App Store, the little wheel in the upper left-hand corner continues to spin forever (I waited 12 hours one time) but nothing happens.  No updates will install.  My Macbook Pro has always operated without issues since I bought it new in 2009, and I have a reliable, fast internet connection.

    Let's try a test here.
Make a new User Account, and try to update from there.

my IOS7 update will not install.  It is telling me it is unavailable after it tries to install.

Too many people trying across ITunes now.  Backup device, then disconnect it back update directly from the device.  I have complete two iPhones and two iPads.  Plan on about 15-30 minutes depending on your download speed.
    Good luck!

    That is unfortunate.
If help is actually desired, provide some details of the issue such as any errors that are occurring.

I have been having the same issue for the last two weeks. No real indication as to why it ever began other than I had turned off my router and Airport Extreme Base Station off for a weekend while I was away from my place.
iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, all have no issues at all with my Airport Extreme Base Station. Can stay connected throughout my living room, bathroom, bedroom, no issues whatsoever.
My 5 month old MacBook Pro 2.66 GHz Core i7 Airport is sometimes perfect, able to connect, DHCP, and browse without issue. Then, for no reason, I won't be able to join my wireless network, or when I can join, I can't pick up an IP address. And then it will connect, pick up and IP, and then it won't browse. No real rhyme or reason to when this will happen, or when it works.
I thought that it was an issue with my MacBook Pro, but then my sister visited with her brand new MacBook Pro 2.26 Intel Core 2 Duo, and while a month ago she was able to connect, DHCP, and browse without issue, this weekend she had all of the same issues I was having.
My XBOX 360 and MacBook Pro have absolutely no issues with the wired connection. Only my WAN seems to have this issue.
Did you ever find anything more to this?

  • App Store will not load on iPad air 2

my App Store will not load on iPad air 2. It's just a blank white screen

    Hello, Pofolksx4.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
I would need clarification on what the exact issue you are experiencing with the App Store to provide a better answer.  However, here are some troubleshooting steps that will help.
Troubleshoot issues on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store:
Make sure your date, time, and time zone are correct in Settings > General > Date & Time.
Note: Time Zone may list another city in your time zone.
Make sure that your iOS software is up to date by tapping Settings > General > Software Update(iOS 5 or later) or connecting your iOS device to iTunes and clicking Check for Update on your device's Summary page.
Check and verify that you're in range of a Wi-Fi router or base station. If you're on a device with cellular service, make sure that cellular data is turned on from Settings > General > Cellular.
Note: If connected to cellular data, larger items may not download. You may need to connect to Wi-Fi to download apps, videos, and podcasts.
Make sure that you have an active Internet connection. You can check the user guide for your device for help with connecting to the Internet.
Make sure that other devices (portable computers, for example) are able to connect to the Wi-Fi network and access the Internet.
Try resetting (turning off and then on again) your Wi-Fi router.
If the issue persists, try troubleshooting your Wi-Fi networks and connections.

  • App updates will not load

App updates will not load. All apps needing updates are locked out showing they are "installing" but nothing is happening.

Hold your finger on it until it wiggles then click the x on the top left.
If that doesn't work log out of the iTunes & App stores, quit the App Store app (bouble tap home button and tap red circle) then hard reset as Xissaxbellax suggested.
Log back in to store and redownload

  • 2014-005 Security Update will not install

2014-005 Security Update will not install "encountered unexpected error" message at end of install routine

    Thanks for the quick response.
I had already done that when it didn't load install completely from the app store notice.  It goes all the way to the final part of the installation including moving things in place etc, but a the very last moment it says "Installation failure - An unexpected error has occurred. Contact your software vendor."
I've never had any kind of situation like this with any installs, updates, or anything.  Everything else is completely up to date.  Steve.

  • HT201412 app updates will not download what is the solution ?

    app updates will not download

I am having a similiar issue, but I am not getting any error messages.  The App Store tells me I have updates.  I go to update all, then they just hang in limbo.
The first app listed was Pages which I thought was causing the problem as it requires Mt. Lion and I don't have that yet.  None of the other apps would update.  I deleted Pages from the ipad and tried again.  When I go to the App store from my MBP, it tells me there are no updates, so I can't even download them to the computer.  The ipad still tells me I have updates.  I click the "update all" button but now, only one app loads at a time and I must wait awhile and repeat the update all to have another one load.  I have not experienced this at all since I've owned it - over a year.  Any insight would be helpful - trying to avoid Restore if possible.  Thank you-

You can also install it manually.
Be sure to have the latest download, then open the DMG file (should do so automatic) and grab the plug in file to drag it in the correct place.
    This is the path:
Library (That is on root level, not your user account library!) / Application Support/ Adobe? Plug-ins / CS4 / File Formats.
In this folder should only be one version present and it is called "Camera Raw.plugin" Under info it should say version 5.7.

  • HT5242 I keep getting an error, and the Java Update will not install. What can I do?

I keep getting an error, and the Java Update will not install. What can I do?

Never mind. I kept trying, and finally when I opened "About This Mac" and clicked the software update from there (as opposed to the "Software Update" just below), the Java update finally worked.

  • OSX software updates will not install

Softward updates will not install on my MacBook Air (OSX 10.7.4).  The updates download, but then during the installation process a message pops up saying that an error occurred and that nothing was installed.  I've tried it 5 times with the same result each time.
Any suggestions (for a non-technical person)?
