HT4623 Camera controls in ios 7

Where are the camera controls

If you tap the camera icon at the top of the camera app, that will toggle between the front and rear facing camera.
Below that is the HDR on and off setting. The giant white circle is the shutter button. Swipe up and down to go from Bideo, Photo and Square Photo. The little photo in the lower right corner is the last photo that you shot and you tap that to go to the camera roll in the photos app.

  • Remote Camera Control and astrophotography for Sony A7(X) and Sony A6000

Hello, Sony makes the best sensors, no doubt about it. Sony makes the best hybryd cameras, that's why i bought a Sony camera BUT ... Astrophotographers are deeply looking at Sony 's camera (especially A7S) because of their astrophotography capabilities but there is a HUGE problem : no software allow BULB mode command, which is very important for astrophotographers. Most of time, astrophotography is some thing like that : 30 pictures, 5 minutes exposure for each picture and we have to add dark frames, flat frames, offset frames and so on. So, if Sony makes a software like Remote Camera Control, why does Sony not include long exposure (over 30s) control in this software ? So come on Mr Sony, don't let Canon leading astrophotographers. Please, add long exposure in your softwares !! Many thanks considering my demand.

I'm going to add that this should be available for ANY alpha series camera that has a bulb mode function in manual control.   This includes ,for example, the a5100.

  • In order to tether a Nikon D7100 into Lightroom is Nikon Camera Control Pro 2 required

I have a Nikon D7100 and I have Lightoom 5.  Will Lightroom recognize the D7100 without needing to have Nikon Camera Control Pro 2?  If the D7100 is not yet recognized by Lightroom will the Nikon software allow for tethering into Lightoom?  when might Adobe add the D7100 to recognized cameras"

    No.
The D7100 is not supported for tethering in Lr.

  • Tethered shooting - more camera controls?

It's great to be able to shoot tethered in Lightroom 3, but could more camera controls be included in the tethered panel? At the very least an image rotation tool would be useful; and controls for camera settings like aperture, shutter speed, ISO, white balance etc would be great.
Right now I keep having to revert to the kludge method of using my camera's capture tool and having Lightroom auto-import the images from a watched folder when I need these controls.

I have the exact same problem using Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit dual-core system with 4G memory on an Acer laptop running Lightroom 4.2

  • Camera control and Monitor Software

    Hi All,
    Two questions, quasi-related.
First, does anyone know of any camera control software for Sony? I have a TR27 and an HDR FX1.
Second, does anyone have any experience with monitoring software? Specifically, I am looking at the Red Lightning DV Monitor software. It would be nice to go from the camera directly to the hard drive. Also, is there any software which lets you monitor more than one camera simultaneously?
Thanks. Any input/links would be helpful and appreciated.
    --Dana

They should produce the same EXACT version of the RAW file.
The profiles are meant to give approximately the same rendering concerning tone and color. You cannot render the exact same thing as Canon uses proprietary algorithms which Lightroom cannot use. The profiles just approximate those using Lightroom's RAW engine. Also they will only come close if you use default settings in your camera, so no highlight priority, no added saturation, etc. If you want the exact same thing, shoot jpeg or convert the RAW to tiff in DPP. That said, my experience is that the camera matching profiles come very close to out-of-camera rendering as long as you don't modify the styles.
I say they HAVE to, because otherwise who is right - who´s got the true colors (e.g. Faithful style is supposed to represent colors exactly if shot at 5200K, yet DPP Faithful differs from LR faithful????)
None of Canon's styles give accurate rendering. That is not what they are meant to do. They are meant to be visually attractive, which is very different from accurate. Faithful is not really scene referred correct color. See for some measurements of that on one of the more accurate cameras, the Canon 5D mk II, here. The way to get correct color, if that is what you are interested in, is to shoot a colorchecker chart and use Adobe's free DNG profile editor to generate a calibrated profile for your camera.
Also, is there a way to convert other picture styles one has created into Lightroom profiles perhaps through some use of DNG Profile Editor?
No. Would be neat, but is not currently possible without a lot of manual labor. You can shoot a colorchecker and by comparing the rendering in DNG profile editor to that in DPP visually and using the patch tools, you might be able to sort of get there but that is going to be very tedious. It would be nice if we were able to give DNG Profile Editor a different target than perfect rendering of the colorchecker, because right now, the only way to do it is visual.

  • Camera Control software

    Hello out there,
I own a Canon XL2 and wanted to buy their camera control software but it only supports PC's...go figure that one! Anyway, I was wondering if there was any professional type control software for the Mac and this camera. I need the built in wave form monitor, vector scope and the software to have the capability of inputing the menu settings.
    Thanks

The only control software for Canon's I know of is this one here:
    http://www.felixtheissen.com/apps/Web-Site/custom%20presets%20editors%20for%20ma c%20and%20win.html
It's beta, unsupported, and actually meant for Canon's HDV (XH/XL-H) cameras.
At least it's free, so you could still give it a try.
    Best regards, Oliver

  • Will FCE HD allow camera control of Sony HC-7?

I own a Sony HC-7 and am unable to edit with camera control using FCE HD 3.0. I have no problem whatsoever with iMovie HD where camera control works fine.
I think it's horrible that ver 3 does not allow it with such a main stream brand as Sony, even if it is a relativly newer model.
I will gladly upgrade to 3.5 if it will support camera control. Does anyone know if 3.5 will support camera control with a Sony HC-7?
    Thank you for your replies.
    Jeff
IMac G5   Mac OS X (10.4.5)   2 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 250 MB hard drive

There are only two choices for HD, one ending in 50, and one ending and 60. I am currently using the one ending in 60, but I have tried both.
I have also gone through the Apple store, and it was determined that the only way to capture video from the Sony HC-7 is to capture it manually without without the use of camera control in the software.
The camera works fine with camera control in iMovie HD, but will not work in the Final Cut Express HD product which I had to purchase! I think that's horrible!
Whose fault is this, Apples or Sony's? You can not talk to anyone at Apple about it for free, and of course, Sony tells you to call Apple about it. You know, the usual passing the buck.
    Thank you for your reply,
    Jeffrey Castaldo

This is used for camera control function for firefox hello . by this function the app is asking of accessing the camera function. So, either the user can allow to access the camera by clicking '''allow''' or '''deny''' to restrict it.
This is a very important privacy feature which stops websites from being able to spy on users without their knowledge.

  • PLEASE fix the iPod controls in iOS !

PLEASE fix the iPod controls in iOS 7 and upcoming iOS !!!!
I have always used my iPhone, as a musician, for learning new songs, and playing music. The previous versions, iOS 6 and older, it was very easy to grab the blue cursor ball and drag to any place in the song.
Since iOS 7, these simple controls have been broken. The ball cursor has been replaced by a red line, which is very difficult to drag to a different position in a song. If you are able to drag the red cursor line to a new position in the song, the iPod player stutters, and/or does not move to the desired position.
Disclaimer: I have been an Apple ADDICT since 1989... owning almost every version of the Mac since the Mac Plus. I have converted literally hundreds of friends, customers, and family members to the Mac platform, from the dreaded PC world of Darkness.
PLEASE fix or revert the iPod controls in iOS !!... it is an essential tool for a working musician/producer !

  • Camera Control Pro installation issue

Hi,I am not able to install camera control pro on a brand new MacBook. After clicking " easy install " absolutely nothing happens, the disc can't even be ejected. How can I get it to install. I also tried a firewire connection to a computer that did install it and when trying to open it in the MacBook it says that it wasn't installed correctly. Thanks in advance for any help.
(note: at one point everything was transferred from another computer to this macbook and now when starting up there seem to be two systems operating, I have to pick one to log into, I don't know why this happened but could it be related and how can I combine them if so?)

Perhaps you should contact Nikon support for help with their software?

  • Does anyone know about camera controls?

does anyone know how to put the camera controls of the largest ipad on the left? is it possible? i have just my left hand for use. i had a stroke and can use that hand. my right does nothing except hang there.

No, that is not currently configurable. Perhaps not a bad suggestion, however: http://www.apple.com/feedback/
In addition, you can use the mechanical volume controls to take a picture (on the right side of the device when the home button in on bottom). You might also explore some of the Accessibility features to see if anything there would help: http://help.apple.com/ipad/7/#/iPad9a2465f9
