can you help me restore my iphone 5s to my own setting coz trying to transfer my photos to mycomputer last night but by mistaake the seeting and all the contacts was totally gone and the restored account and contacts on myphone rightnow was the contacys and seeting of my nephew..so can you help me restore everything to my phone?
Did you back up to iCloud as well?. If so, restore that backup:
Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content & Settings > reactivate phone > follow prompts to restore iCloud backups
Backups overwrite prior the backup. The only ones that are saved are those done during a major update or restore (as part of the process when prompted) If your iTunes backup was overwitted, it's gone unless you baked up your computer before this happened.

Can you help with restoring my itunes library?
I backed up my iTunes library to my external hard driver per the instructions on the website. I have now rebooted my computer to default settings, downloaded iTunes and I am trying to restore my library. The instructions are to hold the SHIFT key when opening iTunes, this gives me the option to "Choose a Library", when I browse for my iTunes folder which i have already copied back from my hard drive and select this and click Open, it just takes me through to the folders where the albums and songs are stored and then says there are no files which match the criteria and wont let me restore the library. I really dont want to have to add each album back to my library one by one. Can you help?
Scan the drive for files of the form *.itl - you may have managed to backup the media without saving the library database. If you can find the .itl file then it should be possible to fix up the library, otherwise it will be possible to reimport the media (in one go - File > Add Folder to Library) and I can suggest some tools for restoring ratings & playlists from your iPod.

Recently my speakers went out on my Beats edition HP Pavilion dv6 notebook. I have been using my headphones since and in a recent attempt to restore my speakers (a tragic dyi attempt) I have accidentally deleted my headphone capabilities from my laptop. Can you please tell me how to get the capabilities that I have lost. I run on Windows 7 on my computer. Please help, I rely on this computer to watch television and movies while I am at college. And if there is any way to fix my computers speakers, this would be great as well.

View Solution.Alright, you should make sure that the speakers are set as the default sound device. Try the following.
Click Start, type "Sound," and press Enter. This will open the sound preferences window.
Click on speakers and then the "set default" button towards the bottom.
After clicking OK reboot your computer.
Post the result.

You can't. Phones purchased legitimately in the US are carrier locked to AT&T, so that strongly suggests they are not authentic. Caveat emptor...

Yes, if purchased from a legitimate retailer. If purchased on the gray market (which is what you are describing above) then likely not.

Apple cant unlock phones and neither can anyone else here. Keep trying with Vodafone as only your carrier can do this.

Update: my PC USB hub was connected to a USB 3 port, I connected the 30 pin cable directly to my PC, And the restore worked just fine. Restored phone from iCloud backup and seems to be working fine. -
Can you help me on something? I restored my iPod and everything I had was gone. (What I Wanted) But then when I looked at my Usage It said I only have 22.5 GB Available and I Used 6.0 But I didn't. I also looked at my Backup storage and it still had all of my backup from before I restored. I deleted all my backup because it said I used all of my Backup Available. And now when I try and backup it says there is no more room or whatever to backup and Its 5/5.

You can re-download all 3rd party apps and you won't be charged again for a purchased app as long as you use the same iTunes account to re-download the apps that was used to purchase the app originally.

Do this with iTunes on your computer. After you have re-downloaded every app one by one, select Sync Apps under the Apps tab for the device's sync preferences along with selecting the apps below that you want transferred to the device followed by a sync to re-install the apps on the device.
