Please help to investigate the problem as I could not activate the phone after updating software to iOS7. in the phone the erroe message is "Your iPhone could not be activated because the actiovation server cannot reached. I have try to activate both of way such by WiFi & Cellular activation and connecting with iTunes but still face the problem and could not completed activation the phone.

There is nothing you can do. That is the Activation Lock that Apple has implemented tout down on theft of their iPhones.
Most likely the iPhone is stolen.
It is totally worthless to you.

I just update the software and after updating, it shows on the phone slide to set up, I did it and put all the information that is needed but unfortunately I could not activate the phone, did it many times...but it shows, iphone could not be activated because the activation server is temporarily unavailable. Generally this is a sign that the iPhone has been jailbroken or hacked.
Google may provide some direction if this is the case.

Thanks for the feedback. You can not use the restore function in Zune to get information back to your phone. The restore function will completely rewrite the restored content including the OS and firmware.
You can sync music and other media files back using Zune. All contacts will be synced back as soon as you setup their accounts again in Settings>email+accounts and you can re-download apps using the app Reinstaller. For paid apps you can just select BUY again and you will be notified you have paid for the app and you can install it again after that.

Did you install modified software on your phone before you updated? If yes, this could be a reason for your phone acting that way.

There is no going back. Even if you restore to factory settings you will still have 6.1.3

This is the error message:
On iTunes: "We could not complete your iTunes Store request. The network connection timed out. Make sure your network settings are correct and your netword connection is active, then try again"
On phone: "your iphone could not be activated because the activation server cannot be reached. Try connecting your iPhone to iTunes to activate it, or try again in a few minutes."
This happens even though my internet is working fine and I can access itunes store normally

For how long have you been receiving this error message? The initial run on the iOS 5 update should be over and the activation server should be up and running right now. Sounds to me like your phone was jailbroken or hacked to unlock it before you updated it.

I followed instructions to update my iPhone 4 software to version 7.0.3., including first backing up the phone to iTunes. Once software update was downloaded, I followed instructions to restore everything from iTunes and according to the message on my phone - it was restoring. However, when it appears to be completeI cannot use my phone, it continuously asks me to set up my phone and back to the message about restoring from iTunes. Not sure what to do now - any suggestions?

I updated my Ip5s after 1 day the iOS7.1 released. I was using my phone to play game but it was frezze for a few seconds and than it turn off itself.
I tried to turn on but it doesn't work, but when i plug the charger, and turn off the sound the phone till viberate.

Open PC companion->support zone->phone/tablet software update->repair my phone/tablet blue highlighted.Follow the steps given,do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable. If PC companion does not start the repair process, you might need to run it in compatibility mode with Windows 7 (in some cases XP).

Sounds like you should reinstall itunes, i'd follow one of these, whichever is most appropriate to get it done properly because on windows there is more than just itunes that needs taken off and reinstalled.

Iphone 3GS Updated to IOS5, but Contacts from another phone / instance applied to the phone after update!!!

I updated my Iphone 4 to the latest IOS5 software and selected to backup to the cloud. This worked a treat. I did the same on my IPAD and this worked to,
I then updated my wifes Iphone 3GS to the same IOS5 software. It said it was backing up the phone and it proceeded to continue with the download. Once the loading of the software was complete, I then went through the process of setting up the iCloud settings on the 3GS phone and selected to merge the data and used my Apple Account, as we share this account.
Now complete the contacts are incorrect, as they phone now has all my contacts on it and my wife's are missing / have been overwritten. This is a major issue as I cannot seem to recover these.
I can plug the phone back into ITunes and run a restore but its telling me to restore to factory settings. Where is the backup iTunes did as part of the software update and or how can I recover the contacts that are relevant to my wifes phone and not mine as she cannot use her phone with my contacts.
I have since turned the contacts off on her phone and removed these so they do not appear and sync with the cloud, but I depserately need to get these back as they are required for her work.

Having the exact same problem. Just got an iPhone 3G S for christmas, and i can't use it.
Maybe try down-grading it so you can at least add contacts and change settings? i havent done it but you could try.

i have an iphone 3gs and i got it unlocked in a shop and the man said i wouldnt be able to update my software using my phone so i tried it on itunes it said updated but now it is saying it couldnt reset my phone and i tried again and it worked but now its saying it cant activate my phone so i cant use it at all? and also its saying there is no sim in the phone when there is ? i tried removing it and putting it back in but still saying that there isnt a sim? anyone know what to do

I have the same exact problem. My password is also Greek. I have tried everything from substituting letters to putting in generic passwords (like "password," "admin," "master," etc.) and ended up disabling my phone temporarily. I can't make phone calls either (obviously), though I have not tried receiving them.
