Yes, I'm sure. I bought it from Apple Store two months ago. I solved the problem restoring the iPhone from scratch after downloading the iOS. I haven't restored my backup so I'm not sure if backing up it could work.

Try to force your phone into recovery mode. Disconnect it from the computer's USB cord. Turn it off if you can by holding the sleep/wake switch until you see the red slide to off. If you can't turn it off, please continue. Press and hold the home button while plugging it into the computer's USB cord. Continue holding the Home button while iPhone starts up. While starting up, you will see the Apple logo. When you see "Connect to iTunes" on the screen, you can release the Home button and iTunes will display the recovery mode message. Did you use any of the "sleep" drivers supplied? I have found it best to just totally reformat/erase the drives and let the OS handle them.

Iphone 3gs stuck in DFU mode and can't be restored!

I bought my iphone 3gs in the states. And I jailbreak it because I'm not an AT&T customer. One day the phone just put itself into the DFU mode! I didn't do anything. So it's black screen. I tried to restore my iphone but I can't. During the restore process, my phone will be white screen for a while and then turn back to black screen again. And then itunes will show the message that my iphone can't be restored. Then I get the error code, sometimes it's 1618, sometimes it's 28 and it even shows 20000 for a few times. But mostly 28, I couldn't find 1618 and 20000 in apple online manual. I check the manual and it seems like 28 represent there's an hardware issue...

Unlikely, The warrantee for US iPhones is valid in only the US, and not for jailbroken ones anywhere.
If it's just a software problem, any fix would probable involve a restore which would install 4.1, so it would relock to AT&T.
If you know someone in the US, they could try an Apple store there. If it's a hardware problem, they might replace it, but the replacement would be locked to AT&T.

Hi folks as in the title:
My Ipad 4 froze up and rebooted automatically numerous times.
It then immediately froze up completely and didn't try and reboot itself.
I then hard restarted the device using the home and power buttons simultaneously.
I got the Apple logo and saw my desktop for a moment and then it froze up.
Hard rebooted again only this time I saw "connect to iTunes".
I connected the device to my MBP and iTunes where I was told it was in restore mode.
I followed the on-screen instructions in iTunes to restore the device.
I spent 15minutes downloading the necessary files etc only for the restore to fail through error code '1600'.
I explored this error code in Apple support and followed all Apple's suggestions, and subsequently tried the restore each time.
I have now exhausted all fix options for '1600'...and I can't even get 'connect to iTunes message' on my iPad device now.
Any suggestions would be welcome please?

Unfortunately I don't have another computer with which to try a restore from.
I've tried to reboot the iPad again using the sleep and home buttons (whilst it is unplugged from my MBP) and it remains completely lifeless. I know there is 80% battery life in the device as I had it charging when it malfunctioned.
I've tried recovery mode through iTunes in excess of 15 times now all yielding the same and inevitable result of 'error 1600'.
I think it's time to get to know the team at my local Apple store...

I'm searching for an answer to almost the same exact problem, using almost the same exact hardware and software. Has an answer been found?
The files that I'm trying to burn come from eMusic, and they are formatted mp3. Recently, (after the iTunes update to 9.2.3?,) they would not drag and drop from iTunes into Toast. From several different discussions I've tried working around this by dragging to the desktop first then dragging and dropping to Toast, going to Toast from a programmer's homemade help window, " iToons," and today, after talking with Apple support, going directly to Toast from my eMusic folder. Alas, all recordings do not perform like they use to. Sometimes they play and sometimes not. There is one I managed, that is listenable, but sometimes I have to put it in my car stereo over and over again as it gets ejected with an error code, sometimes, finally it takes it... Some of the recordings on other disks I've burned are not clean - they have white-noise sounds creeping in... I use to have none of these problems. One time as I was listening to a CD that managed to play, and it just stopped playing... Is there an answer out there to get back to how it use to be? Thanks for you help.

HT4859 If I got a new iPhone and backed up the data from the old one, it should show up once the new one is set up right? Does an "incomplete" status mean it did not back up and can not be restored to the new iPhone?

What I mean is still track my stolen one. I don't know if this will make sense to you but I'm thinking that if I restore the back up data on this phone..on my stolen phone it will like forget the icloud account or something and think this phone is the stolen one so when I go to track the stolen one, it will show that phone as the one I have now because I restored the back up from that phone.

MY Ipad's repeatedly asking for activation, even though I activated 20 times, not kidding! And the worst is I can't activate it through cellular data, for no good reason. Yes, I checked the setting for the cellular data about itunes and so on. I also tried to reboot, to remove and put back the sim card. I also tried to send a request to apple support, but the f... button in the email sent doesn't work. I understand the question fully. Your issue is that the activation does not seem to be registering nor working properly (which is why you keep being asked to activate it). Maybe activating through Wi-Fi will activate the iPad properly since as you say yourself, "I can't activate the Ipad by cellular data." I don't think it would much more trouble to try it through Wi-Fi and could very well solve your issue.
A question does not come up though...which activation are you actually talking about? The initial activation of the iPad for use (when you are first setting up the device) or the activation for cellular data with the device's cellular data carrier for use on the device? My initial response was for the first scenario.

The person who has the iPhone sending you the text messages your are not getting, has to press and hold the blue message box until the menu pops up and one option is to "Send as Text Message" tap that - have them send another new message to you, if it is blue, not green, repeat. I beleieve if you do that twice, the iPone will always send you a text message, not an iMessage.

Apple's activation servers are probably very busy. You may want to wait for a little while before trying again.

Cannot download apps and can't go on Facebook.

We got a new router and all other devices are working properly.
But since the new router, I can't download apps, update apps, or go on Facebook in safari.
The router was set to an open NAT just like the other one. I've tried resetting the router and reconnecting to the Internet with no luck.
Even my iPhone works correctly on this router.

Now sure what happened...but something trashed my Adobe Acrobat v8 Standard installation so I uninstalled Acrobat and re-installed the program from disk, Ver 8.0, I ran through a couple of upgrades to 8.1.3...
Now when I boot up the the PC (Win XP w/all updates) I get this error message...
Can't find: documents and settings/All Users/Application Data/Adobe/Adobe PDF/Settings/*.joboptions
and I am continually asked (10+) to activate the program, which I do...
I've run my registry cleanup program...still have these problems...
Under Docs & settings/all users there isn't an Adobe PDF folder.
I found it under my user application data along with several other folders:
Acrobat, Adobe Acrobat, AIR, Flash Player, Linguistics, LongTransport2 -- there's also another folder named AdobeUM

What error message do you get when entering the password in the Thunderbird password prompt?
I'd be surprised if you can still receive mail without being prompted, when Thunderbird didn't save your password(s).

While you might not like the answers you are getting, this is the way it is. The carrier decides on unlocking, and it appears they told you that you had to be a customer for 3 months before they unlock. You are going to have to comply with that rule.
