HT4623 enable LTE is missing

Just got new iphone 5. I notices I cant see "Enable LTE" option in settings. Instead I see 3G option. Any idea whats the problem ?

The ability to enable or disable LTE would be dependent on your carrier. A lot of the information in the Settings area are determined by the carrier file that is loaded on the phone. Who is your carrier and do they have a LTE network?

Xpinstall.enabled file is missing, where do I find?

I am issues with add-ons.
Cannot install: error message as follows:
Item could not be installed because Firefox could not modify the needed file.
Now, I am having issues with removal of add-ons, I click remove and click Restart Firefox but the add-ons are not removed.
The add-ons that I am trying to install are as follows:
Gmail Checker, Gmail Manager, Gmail S/MIME, Open Gmail with toolbar button, Better Gmail 2, Creatimail Email Themes, Google Shortcuts, Preloader (for Firefox).
The add-ons I am trying to remove are:
Date Picker Calendar, Ecleaner, Bulk you Tube Video, Form Control Context Menu, Auto-Sort Bookmarks, Ramback, Open With, Slim Add-ons Manager, Restart Firefox.
Also xpinstall.enabled file is missing.

You get this error if an extensions needs to be unpacked in order to work properly. 
Normally extensions are installed with the XPI files renamed to the GUID of the extension, but some extensions also tore data in its extension folder and such extensions only work when unpacked.
The xpinstall.enabled pref is only present on the about:config page when you add it yoursels. 
When absent then it defaults to true.

It is possible that there is a problem with the file(s) that store the extensions registry.
Delete the extensions.* files (e.g. extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry.

If you see disabled, not compatible, extensions in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the Tools button at the left end side of the Search Bar ("Find Updates" button in older Firefox versions) to check if there is a compatibility update available.
If this hasn't helped then also delete the addons.sqlite file.

Turning off cellular data doesn't turn off the ability of the phone to make or receive phone calls. In order to do that, you'd need to put the phone in Airplane Mode.

Cisco Works Enable username credential missing

I have tried to deploy a configuration out as well as running a Device Credential Verification Job and they both fail because of "Enable username credential missing." I can not seem to pin point the problems because there is no place to add this, also our switches do not asking for a username while going into enable mode. Would TACACS+ have anything to do with this?

Apologies for resurrecting this old thread... I have found myself in a similar situation. And I have run a wireshark capture to review the entire telnet session. Obviously I am using generic passwords here, but this what I get when I follow the TCP stream. And yes, I did indicate that this is an IOS device, not CatOS (which is why I'm confused about that "set" command).

And Ciscoworks still reports "Enable username credential missing" even though the switch is obviously in enabled state.
Needless to say I'm trying to push the upgrade to NCS, but it's kinda difficult when the existing installed software isn't working as advertised.

Enable LTE doesnt Exist

Hi , I want to know how I enable LTE on my Iphone 5 ?
How I know in AT&T have Iphone 5 device where have menu with Enable LTE .
In other device i didnt see this menu .

There is no enable LTE option on the iPhone.
Either your carrier has and LTE network that is compatible with the iPhone and you are in an area covered by it, or not.
If you are in an area covered by LTE and the provider's network is compatible with the iPhone (meaning a compatible band for the model of iPhone) you have, then contact the provider to troubleshoot your account.

Enable 3G in addition to Enable LTE

Sometimes it is necessary to register in GSM network instead of UMTS. But after iPhone got the feature "Enable LTE" it became impossible. Now iPhone has only this mode and turning off 3G mode is unavailable, unfortunately.
Does Apple think about this function to add in? Need it very much.

I live in Russian and our carriers don't shut down 2G networks. Moreover, they would not do this for... I think rather long period, because a lot of customers use 2nd generation network (especially in machine to machine services it is very popular). Also we have a big territory and 3G network coverage, which carriers build with UMTS Band 1 (2100 MHz), is not enough, especially in the country. LTE networks are in rudimentary status.
That is why situation if I enter the area without GSM coverage is fantastic for me. By the way, EDGE network has no relation to voice, it is only data service, it is not correct to speak about absence of voice service.
To my mind Apple don't give enough options to switch networks. It is not a big problem, of course. But sometimes I need not to switch to 3G network, for example if carrier has some technical problems in 3G network or I need to register in a more energy-saving network with better coverage (like GSM).

FYI (especially if in America) 4G is not LTE.

I bough a new I phone 6 plus and can't find enable LTE only 4G , can somebody advice me why?

You have it reversed, T-Mobile USA and then AT&T display "4G" when actually on HSPA+ and the standards group caved and called this 4G. LTE (Long Term Evolution) is a means that most every carrier is using for the latest iteration of "4G" (although some diehards from the start claimed the first iteration of LTE didn't qualify as 4G). LTE has nothing to do with AT&T.
I know in Brazil they display LTE when connected to that network, same in Canada in Mexico. There are also many threads here about LTE, and displaying it, in Africa, the mideast, etc. I know when my cousin's wife was recently in Belgium her phone, and her brother's, both displayed LTE and many from India have posted here that they are "stuck" on LTE and can no longer downshift to 3G or 2G.
Is it possible that your carrier, or just the UK, is using the 4G display?

ABAP Trial installed, BI enabled Business Content missing components

Hi experts,
I've installed the ABAP Trial, and enabled the BI 7, but it seems that the Business Content is missing most of its components.
Please Advice,

I do undersatnd that the ABAP trial is mainly for ABAP Development, but as I was able to enable BI 7 , I was wondering why wasnt I able to get more components in Business Content? Have I done something wrong when enabling BI 7??
If the final answer is that I am actually unable to get more components to work with than I already have gotten, well then I just can't go on traning BI 7 with this ABAP Trial.

Lens Corrections: Enable Profile Corrections missing from tab

The "Enable Profile Corrections" check box is missing from the Lens Corrections tab in Camera Raw (CS5). How do I get it back? I'm comfortable hacking my registry or any settings files.
I'd like to report this and see if there's a better solution than Ctrl-Shift-Alt on startup.
Things I've checked:
The EXIF data for the lens is present and can be read Lightroom 3.
The "Enable Profile Corrections" check box is present in LR3 and functions.
After exporting a copy of the same photo to a folder the EXIF data is still visible in Bridge.
After opening the photo in Camera Raw the "Enable Profile Corrections" check box is missing.
I've used the option in Camera Raw for months, and had it included in my default CR settings.

After installing 6.2 the check box is back, but this doesn't explain why it went away.
If I had already installed 6.2 and was seeing this symptom what would you have recommended?
