HT4623 Having problems with my iMessage activation,
Good Day,
I have updated to the ios7 and I am trying to finish the activation with my Imessage
I keep getting this message
"IMessage acitivation
Could not sign in. Please check your network connectio and try again
OK"
I have checked with Apple Support and we checked everything
The tech Greg was very helpful but we did not fix the problem
He suggested it was my carrier
I checked with BELL and they comfirmed that everything was ok on the network end
I have tried the WI- Fi and G3
I am unable to utlize the Imessaging
Can you help me?

What do you mean do you need credit?
iMessage and FaceTime activation use hidden SMS messages directed to Apple's activation servers in the UK. If you are not using a supported carrier, or if your carrier is not aware that you have an iPhone, the messages may not be able to pass properly.
What country are you in and what carrier are you using? -

Do you mean after a phone update? Do you mean just at home? Does it happen everywhere? Do you have wifi turned on? If its on and your not connecting just clear out the connections (forget) then reset up the connections and see if that helps. Did you get a Jelly Bean update? Many people have had wifi connections issues because your router is either outdated and not supported with the new os, or it needs a firmware update. Post back with more information.

downloaded ios 7, trying to set it up and i get connect to itunes part and then get a message on my computer saying there is a problem with my phone and visit the services centre but nothing has worked

Further info - I changed my security settings to allow apps from anywhere, and again tried to install. I again got an error message
that the update failed to install, and to contact Customer Support. -
Im having problems with Safari 5.1.10. I often have several tabs open and after a while the links/websites become not active. So if click on a tab and want open a previous website it than has to re-load again in the window. Can I change this ?

The NetehrlandsEmpty the Safari cache more often.
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Select: Show Develop menu in menu bar
Now click Develop from the menu bar. From the drop down menu click Empty Caches.
Quit and relaunch Safari to test. -

Did you already try these steps?
Restart the iPhone.
Try another means of reaching the activation server and attempt to activate.
Try connecting to a known-good Wi-Fi network if you're unable to activate using a cellular data connection.
Try connecting to iTunes if you're unable to activate using Wi-Fi.
Restore the iPhone.
If you receive an alert message when you attempt to activate your iPhone, try to place the iPhone in recovery mode and perform a restore. If you're still unable to complete the setup assistant due to an activation error, contact Apple for assistance.

I seem to be having an ongoing problem with my iMessage! First started last week when everybody was having problems with iMessage, however mine is doing it again tonight! My iMessage has been fine all day but stopped working this evening and I've tried restarting phone and iPad but not worked. I've turned iMessage off and now it won't let me activate it, says my apple ID is incorrect - which I've used it else where and its fine. It's not just my phone - same problem on iPad! That means it is having trouble connecting to the network. Make sure location is set correctly. Go to settings - general - network and ensure DNS is set to automatic. Check that your router is up to date. If on wifi try Ethernet.

Did you change any AppleID accounts or anything? I've seen this happen when changing accounts or certain restore situations.
If you are using iCloud you should be able to reset your phone to Factory Defaults and restore from iCloud, but it always makes me nervous. -

Try to Restore with iTunes on your computer. If this does not work, there is full Warranty. Make Genius reservation or set up service and take or send to Apple for resolution.
