Hi Apple techs. I'm having password login problems with the Mail app ver 2.0.5. This just started this morning and looking through the discussions addressing the same problems and so many other users complaining about the same issue, it looks like something has happened or a corruption. Never had a problem before today. The password window keeps popping up asking for password and the gear spins. I can't get my mail now. Can you find out what is going on. Thanks for your help steveb

Hi Allen. Thanks for your help. Although some of us have sbcglobal as the isp, people who have called sbc support are saying to contact Apple about the problem. So far, there is no source or agreement on what the problem is with Mail. it isn't working. It could be a server problem or it could be the program. Many people have just develpoed the trouble today and apparently sbc is saying it isn't coming from them. Just a thought. steveb

You could try a "hard reset" to eliminate software corruption but be warned that All Data would be erased.
Firstly remove the battery and replace (but if the battery is left out too long,you must press the power button on the front to start the device.
When the image that says "NOKIA" comes up, PRESS and HOLD Shift+Ctrl+F and KEEP HOLDING KEYS until you FIRST get A BLANK SCREEN, and KEEP HOLDING KEYS until it prompts you to confirm the format!

You can not create an iCloud account using a PC. You must create the account on an Apple device, a Mac or an iPhone/iPad etc. Once you do that you may sign in from the Winbox.

If you can't track it using find my phone.
Then report the lost to the local authority and your phone carrier.
