I don't know why I keep getting the following messge for a recent album I created in iphoto:
"An error occurred with the publication of album (name of album). Do you want to remove the album from your library?" In smaller letters under that message, is "The feed could not be found or is invalid." There are 2 buttons to click - either "Remove Album" or "Keep Album". Visual Studio is a very invasive program and which provides the ability to enumerate projects and solutions for system, user should never try uninstalling it manually without any guidance.
Visual Studio made changes for your whole system, if the file has been moved or deleted this error would occur.
Since you mentioned that you get this error almost everywhere even in control panel. We suggest you repair/reinstall your Visual Studio first and check if it could be fixed.

My pictures are no longer downloading to my computer. I don't know why
I had been using photostream to push my photos from my Iphone 4s to my PC, to a folder on my desktop. Then I would put those photos in other folders according to year/month/event/etc under my pictures.
I think I may have moved a folder but cannot figure out where.
I tried to sync to Itunes and it doesn't seem to be working so I backed up to Icloud, i think.
HELP!!Your camera roll photos - the pictures that you take with the iPad camera or saved from websites are stored in the iPad backup. You will not see them anywhere on your computer unless you import them to the PC from the iPad.
You cannot see what is stored in the iPad backup on your PC. It doesn't work that way. This explains iTunes backups - what is backed up and where the backup file is stored on the computer. It may be a little different in Windows 8. now.

I own a 2007 GL with an iPod adapter. My iPhone couldn't charge or play music through the adapter until the 2.1 update. After a complete new restore of my iPhone, the iPhone's music will play, however, as I expected it will not charge. Regarding BT through the MHI Puck, the iPhone will sync the Contacts & Call Lists, I now have full control through the steering wheel controls, and sound is much better than the 2.0.x FW. Through the 2.1 update, I effectively had reset all network and BT connections; be sure to reset all of your settings on the iPhone and re-pair it again, if you use a BT MHI Puck. And, be sure to wait a bit - the first pairing took about 3 minutes, the subsequent pairings are complete in about 20 seconds.
Not available on this side of the pond (yet, AFAIK), MBZ has an iPhone 3G cradle adaptor for a lot of the newer MBZ vehicles (sadly, not the GL). Mercedes' part number is 204 820 23 51. The cradle plugs into the UHI connector (option 386). More at:

Your only chance is setting it up as new device without using the latest backup afterwards, which you already did.
