  • How to fix the E225 error on the MF 4380 dn printer

How to fix the E225 error on the MF 4380 dn printer

    Hi okekeP,
The imageCLASS MF4380dn was not released by Canon USA in the United States, but was distributed in other markets such as Canada, Europe and Australia.  I would recommend to referring to the Canon support group for your geographical area to ensure the proper support application is being used for your product. However. I will be happy to offer some assistance.
The closest US model would be the imageCLASS MF4370dn. The recommendation when the error occurs with this model is to perform a reset the product.  If you have not done so already, please attempt to reset your laser printer as outlined below:
    1. Disconnect the power cord attached to your machine while "on" for up to 10 minutes.
    2. Reconnect the power cord for the unit and plug it into a different known working outlet direct to the wall (not a surge/power strip) to ensure it is receiving full power.
    4. Once your unit has initialized, confirm an error is not displayed in the LCD.
If unresolved, please refer to your Canon support contacts for further assistance and whether a firmware update may be available to address the issue or if service may be required.
In case helpful to you, here are direct links to the product page for your laser product:
    - if your product was purchased in Canada, you can visit the product page for your laser device on the Canon-Canada website, www.canon.ca.
    - if your product was purchased in Australia, you can visit the Canon-Australia website, www.canon.au.
    - if purchased in Europe, you can visit the Canon-Europa website, www.canon-europe.com
I hope this is helpful to you.

  • How I fixed the iTunes 7.5 installation error

Hello, just wanted to say that after two days I figured out an easy way to fix the problem I had after downloading iTunes 7.5. I was getting an buffer overrun error on QuickTime and knew that iTunes wouldn't open because of QuickTime. I re-installed iTunes and went into safemode and deleted everything that referenced QuickTime. Then I downloaded an older version of QuickTime here:
http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/quicktime72forwindows.html and after that was able to open iTunes. Good luck to everyone. After reading the boards for two days I know that I'm not the only one with this issue.

    Hi Niel,
I tried the instructions and I received another message which said: "The module ".d11" failed to load. Make sure the binary is stored at the specified path or debug it to check for problems with the binary or dependent .DLL files. The specified module could not be found." Thank you for responding! Any other suggestions for this issue? Help!

To get rid of error -42408:
    1. Close iTunes
    2. From a terminal: killall iTunesHelper
    3. Unplug any iOS devices
    4. Restore these from a backup of /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/ - you want to replace the current versions when Time Machine (or whatever you use) asks.
    AirTrafficHost.framework
    CoreFP.framework
    DeviceLink.framework
    iTunesAccess.framework
    MobileDevice.framework
Reboot before loading iTunes or reattaching any iOS devices for good measure.
    Good luck!

  • I know how to fix the iTunes 7 / firmware ver. 1.2 freeze problem

Many of you (like me) are having major headaches because of the new updates that Apple has been releasing (i.e. iTunes 7). So far I only know that this affects the Video iPod, but this could very well fix other models too.
Here are some symptoms of what the following will fix, and what you most likely have already done to try and fix it.
    - iPod keeps freezing after a few seconds ever since you updated to iTunes 7 and/or iPod software ver. 1.2.
    - iPod will remain in Do Not Disconnect mode even after ejecting or disconnecting
    - A forced reset does not fix it, as it repeats the above.
    - Restoring the iPod through iTunes does not help
    So, here's what to do.
The old iPod updater software is how you will fix all of this. Unfortunately, because iTunes 7 thinks that it's better and more up to date, it will prevent you from opening the old version of the software if you still have it on your machine.
So first of all, uninstall iTunes 7.0. (You do not have to remove your library information, just the software.) Restart the computer.
If you still have the old iPod updater, try it and see if it runs. If it does, read on. If not, skip to the next paragraph. So, if it does run, simply hit Restore and you can go back to a previous version of the firmware. I believe that Apple discontinued the firmware page since releasing iTunes 7. Look around some search engines like Google if you really want the latest firmware.
Take out the installation CD that came with your iPod. Run it and it should install the old iPod updater along with iTunes 6.x. iTunes 6.x cannot run since iTunes 7 changed your libary's formatting, but that will not be a problem. Run the Restore process in the old updater and it should be alright for you to start loading your stuff on again without problems.
Since iTunes 7 reformatted your libary listing, iTunes 6 will no longer work. However, you can still use it by reinstalling iTunes 7. Just make sure you do the following.
TO KEEP THE SAME THING FROM HAPPENING AGAIN
iTunes 7 is actually alright. It's the updater part of it that will screw up your iPod.
    - iTunes 7 will tell you that a new iPod software version is available when you open it.
    - Check the "Never Ask Again" box and click Don't Install.
    - When you sync your iPod to your computer, NEVER touch the Version section when you're changing your iPod's settings. Everything else is alright to work with.
    - Everything will work fine as long as you never update the iPod's software via iTunes, at least until the programmers can fix this issue in a later release or patch.
I hope this helps out a lot of you. Pretty lame of Apple to miss something this big during debugging.
    Custom Windows XP

Listen to this person, he knows exactly what he's talking about. My unit had the freezing problem, the visual artifact problem, and eventually would only show a blank white screen after I had tinkered too long. Luckily I have another computer that I hadn't yet upgraded to itunes 7 and it had the last firmware upgrade before the itunes 7 one. From disk mode I was able to restore it to the previous firmware version, and now the ipod works perfectly.
I too am almost disqusted with Apple for 1) missing this problem and 2) not letting people know!
I wonder how many more people are going to have lots of problems so apple can protect their PR.
Anyways, what would be really helpful would be if someone could upgrade the latest firmware installer before itunes 7 (it's an individual ipod updating program, not itunes 6.xx)somewhere on the internet so users could download it and do away with this evil 1.2 firmware.

  • Who knows how to fix the iTunes Festival app? It doesn't stream or show any videos available!

Neither my Apple TV app, nor iOS app work.. moreoever, the festival page on the iTunes store doesn't work either! I already missed a few of my fave bads and I can't watch them on demand! just a black screen appers on the iOS app, or sayd Error in the AppleTV! Please help!

Does anyone in the community have insite into this issue (same with animation compressed QT's). Is this just the way it is moving forward (a terrible thing) or is it a bug that will be fixed in the near future. Apples silince on if this is a "feature" or a "bug" is frustrating.
    Thanks.

  • How to fix the -15006 error when playing to remote speakers.

A quick fix that worked for me was to click the wifi symbol in the system bar (top right of computer). I turned the airport off – waited a second, then turned it back on. Having iTunes off during this process seems to help as well.

    Thanks bitwise.
AirTunes works by first "finding," and then, establishing a secured communications link between the iTunes host and the AirPort Express Base Station (AX) or Apple TV. Once this link has been established, it can then start the streaming process. Also periodically through the streaming, AirTunes checks to see if the link is still valid.
Most likely, something occurred to break this link, and thus the error message. By using the AirPort icon, you basically "forced" a break between the iTunes host and the AX. This provided AirTunes with an opportunity to re-establish the link, and then, to continue on with the streaming.

and the part im unsure on is
       else
                        trace(fl_SecondsCounted + " sec");
                        hand.rotation = hand.rotation + 6;

  • How to fix the script error in my firefox?

I'm having problems on my firefox. I'm using it for school and every time I'm logging in to do my assignments, the script error turns up. I have tried to do anything and look at support forum but it still did not work! Please email me of how to fix this issues!

    Hi,
Thank you for your question. I understand that when you login to do your assignments a script comes up. However I do not know where it is to login.
For example, if you are logging into a website clearing the data on the mobile device can reload the script if it has become corrupt. However if the script normally runs a certain amount of time it is also possible to extend the time of the script warning. [[Warning Unresponsive script - What it means and how to fix it]]
If the script error is not an unresponsive one, please do provide the error message and I would be happy to investigate.

  • How To Fix: "The iTunes Library.itl file is locked, on a locked disk, or you do not have write permission for this file."

I can't reopen my iTunes after I have to force quit when it does not respond. I get this message:
"The iTunes Library.itl file is locked, on a locked disk, or you do not have write permission for this file."
I've read to do the solutions. I right clicked on both the iTunes and Music folder and went to info for each. On both the lock at the bottom of the Get Info was locked. All of my users including admin can read and write all files within those folders. They are even a shared folder. I clicked on the lock to unlock it, typed in my admin password, and went to the gear to apply to all files inside. After doing that I keep getting the saved message.
I tried another way that I've found online to move my ituneslibrary folder to the desktop and then open my iTunes. In theory the iTunes is supposed to ask for where the iTunes library is. Once that is prompted you quit iTunes and drag the iTunes Library folder back to the folder from the desktop and reopen iTunes to apprently solve the problem. However, when I move the iTunes Library file to the desktop and try to reopne iTunes the icon just keeps bouncing and when I right click the application does not respond.
This problem is only resolved if I restart/shut down my macbook pro which is a 15-inch Core 2 Duo with intel. It will be 5 years old in December. I currently have Lion and the latest iTunes 10.5. This problem started in late December.

If you hold down the option key when starting iTunes, it will allow you to select a library or create a new one.
You can create a new one, and then add all of your iTunes music back in by simply dragging the old iTunes music file onto iTunes.
There are more detailed instructions at http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1451#
It will show you how to re-build your iTunes database file.
