Music on your phone is found in the music app. Once you get going, we can help with specific questions. But, as I said, start with reading the user guide. Cant understand why they wouldnt be your library unless you deleted them. Any Apps that were missing you go to the itunes store, look at purchased section and re download them, ifthey arent in your purchase history locate them in the store, if you havr paid for them once you can redownload them for free if they were free apps then simply download again.

You can't download iTunes from your iPhone. Your iPhone 5 has the latest software installed. Now you need to update iTunes from your computer.

First, back up your old iphone manually:
Disable autosync in iTunes, connect your phone to your new computer and right click on it in the device list and choose backup. iTunes will backup your phone without syncing.
Transfer your purchases the same way, choosing "transfer purchases" this time.
When you connect your old phone for the first time, all media content will be erased. But you can restore your settings and app data from your manual backup afterwards.
Don't forget to set up at least one contact and event on your new computer to be able to merge calendars and contacts when you sync the phone for the first time.

After that, connect your new phone and let iTunes set it up. iTunes will detect the old 3G backup and ask you, if you want to use it to restore the info on your new iphone. If you agree, all settings and data will be present after the process is finished.

If you have an iCloud account, change your AppleID and iCloud passwords immediately. That will keep a thief from connecting and deleting your iCloud backups. When you get a new iPhone, if from an Apple store, the genius bar staff can download the information you have in iCloud and restore it to your new iPhone.

Well you would be first need to be using the ITUNES program. Not be on itunes the internet page. The program will usually be a music note icon on your desktop. IF YOU ARE GOING TO THE INTERNET = safari , internet explorer, firefox, etc ....your not using the program itunes. YOur surfing the web.
with that said , always make sure your running the latest version of itunes. If on a mac >in the upper left , next to the little Apple, click on the word itunes> check for updates.

You can't merge the backups, you'll have to delete the backup of your old phone. If it says it's currently in use when you try, that will normally clear up on its own but may take 3-5 days to do so. Give it a few days and try deleting the old backup again.
In the meantime, you can create a manual backup of your new phone on your computer by connecting it to your computer, opening iTunes, clicking on the name of your phone in iTuens, going to the Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings and clicking Back Up Now. Also go to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases. Then you'll be safe until you can start backup up to iCloud again.

In this case you would have to reset your new device (Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings) in order to restore it from a backup during the device setup.

What phones do you have (old and new?) If your old phone was backed up using Verizon's Backup assistant, the new phone should pick up those contacts, as the Verizon cloud has replaced Backup Assistant, or ratherm BUA has been "absorbed" by the Cloud.

I recently had a palm centro and did regular syncs to my computer. Yesterday my phone came into contact with my 2 year old and needless to say "it went to heaven", so now I am looking to buy a different palm phone maybe the pixie or maybe just some other type of phone (not sure yet).
My question is can I get all my sync music, messages, photos etc thats on the computer be added to a new phone that is not a centro? if so how do I do this?
