HT4623 I cannot turn on my i pad. all I have on the screen is the i Tunes logo and a picture of the connector. What does this mean? Is it still updating or do I have to connect to i Tunes via my PC?

I am unablre tpo bring up my home screen. All I get is the i-Tnes logo and an image of the connector lug with an arrow pointing to the logo. What does this mean? Is it try to tell me that I need to sync? This has only happened since the IOS 7 update started.

It sounds like it's gone into recovery mode : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808
You will need to connect it to your computer's iTunes, and you should then be able to reset the iPad and restore/resync your content to it
