I have a preowned ipad 1 and cannot load some apps because itunes is telling me I need ios 6.0 or more. Confused.

Yes, you could, because in this case you would have something like a backup in the cloud. BTW, personally I also like Flickr. Flickr offers you 1 TB (1000 GB) of free storage and automatic upload for photos since iOS 7 (it is a very attractive offer, at least for me)

You will need to connect it to the computer you sync with. When iTunes opens click on the name of your iPad under the DEVICES heading on the left of the screen. Then move right and select the Summary tab and click on Update. It may ask if you want to update prior to getting to the Summary tab, if so click yes.

I have an iPhone 5c version 7.1.2. When trying to allow the upgrade for the "iOS 8.1.3 , everything appeared to be upgrading except for the wifi. my Wifi stays turned off now and will not come on. In my Setting applications , general it states I need to do the "iOS 8.1.3 upgrade but will not allow me to continue because I do not have Wifi. I bought an Ipad 2 some years back and never hooked it up to my computer (somehow). I was now to update the Ios on it, but when doing that I lost all the music I bought in Itunes.

I have a 3gs, and I haven't updated it for a long time because I always have issues when I do. I tried to update the ios today, and it decided to update it to 6.1.3 instead of 7, I didn't think there would be a problem, so I clicked ok. When I came to check on my phone, itunes said there was an error with the update, and my phone was in recovery mode (plug-in sign on the screen). I looked up multiple things to try, I tried putting it in DFU mode, still itunes doesn't see it. The computer also doesn't list it under devices, however when it is plugged in the Apple Mobile Support USB Driver shows up in device manager. I have tried uninstalling itunes and reinstalling, still nothing. I just want to know if there is anything else I can try. Thanks.
No, it is my phone that I've had since 2009. I just hate updating it because every time I do something goes wrong. So I put it off as long as possible. I am getting a new iphone, but I read that to have your backup transfer to the new phone, it must be a backup from the current ios.
