Sounds like it was jailbroken or hacked to unlock it and it's now been bricked, or, at the very least, re-locked to the original carrier.

I also got a response from Apple who said that there was a problem related to fonts and the encryption.xml file
Once we'd removed this we were able to upload the epub no problem.
It's odd that the system seems to say that all is okay when it isn't. We have to rely on guesswork rather a lot using iBook Producer.
Anyway, all sorted now and thank you again for your contribution.

Hey sorry I just got my new Iphone 4 and i downloaded a game from itunes off my computer and i dont know how to get it onto my iphone 4 please help
There are two ways, you can sign into the app store from your iPhone, select upgrades at the bottom, select purchased, select not on this iPhone and download from their or plug your iPhone into iTunes, left click on your iphone in the left pannel, select the apps heading, select the game you downloaded and select sync at the bottom of the screen (make sure there is a check mark in the box beside sync apps). If the game is over 20mb you will have to be connected to wifi to download it directly on your iphone

When I rent a movie from itunes library on my desktop it is not showing up under rented on my Apple tv? This has not happened before?. Can I rent or buy directly from Apple TV? I hope someone can answer this silly question.

You can purchase or rent it direct from the Apple TV or from the computer. If you rent/purchase from the computer, it must fully download to the computer before it will show up under computers > rentals on the TV. -
I went to Starbucks this morning and my Wi-Fi on my Verizon Iphone connected, what does this allow me to do? Try restarting your router (remove power for 30 seconds and restart). It may not be properly assigning an IP address to your iPhone. -
My Iphone started shutting down and switching back on by itself. After researching problem, lots of results pointed towards restoring phone. I commenced the process and all was going well until the phone shut down during the restore and Itunes then flagged up an error 21 code. I now am stuck as the phone is in restore mode but I can't stop it switching off during the process.
iTunes error code 21 is a security software conflict and the recommended knowledge base article for troubleshooting is: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3125 Check through that and see if it helps. If nothing works you may need to visit the Apple genius bar and have one of those people help clear it.

ITune quits when I go to play TV programs bought from ITune Store
I just bought new iMac and was excited to be able to play TV programs that I defer watching on my screen, but iTune quits as soon I click on play. I have properly authorized the computer with iTune. The data that I am trying to play was transfered from my old iBook which did not have enough umph to platy these. Does anyone have solution to this.

iMac Mac OS X (10.4.9)I figured it out.
I was running iTune 7.1.1 with QuickTime 7.1.3
I upgraded QuickTime to 7.1.6 and now I can actually watch the TV programs on my screen!!
Awesome. TV programs I want on demand on MY computer.
