Turn your phone off and connect your cable to the computer, but not the device just yet. Start up iTunes. Now, hold down the home button on your phone and plug it in to the cable - don't let go of the button until iTunes tells you it's detected a phone in recovery mode. Now you can restore to factory settings.
Unfortunately, the data on your phone is already gone if you're seeing the connect to iTunes logo. -
so i set up my ipod after i got it and i put the server as itunes but i dont know what happend that it dosent have wifi. it says its on but now i cant use most of the apps it has.
try rebooting the router, because it might not be a problem from the iPod

I updated my iphone to iOs 6.1 and am trying to sync the photos on my phone with iphoto on my computer and I can not get iPhoto to recognize my phone or the new pictures to be imported. Any suggestions?
I have the same problem in my ipad 2 wifi with ios 6.1, but my iphone 5 with ios 6.1 works well with iPhoto, I dony know how to fix it, I used Diskaid to sync the iPad photos.

You are not using a valid SIM that came along with your phone. Please insert the sim card with which your iPhone was purchased. Your phone is locked to that particular SIM and will not recognise other sim cards. If you don't know which sim it was, you might want to take the iPhone to the place where you purchased it from.

You need the owner of the account to remove the iPhone from their Apple ID, there is no way around this sorry.

i have a macbook pro. i think i might have pushed some buttons that made my macbook look for a wireless keyboard.. i dont have any wireless keyboard. and now i cant use the keyboard on my macbook. how can i get the normal keyboard staring?

For some reason, your Mac doesn't recognise that a keyboard is present, so it looks for a wireless keyboard. The question is, why doesn't your Mac recognise that a keyboard is attached?
First, you need to make sure you remove all peripherals, especially USB peripherals (the keyboard is on the USB bus). Then restart holding down the Shift key. This should boot in Safe mode. If the computer boots normally (not in safe mode) and the keyboard is still not working, try resetting the SMC

Not enough storage
Not enough/low memory?
For the former delete some items from the iPod.
For the latter.double click the home button and close all the apps in the recently used dock. Then power off and then back on the iPod. This frees up memory. -

If your webcam is powered by USB, make sure it is attached directly to your Mac and not a USB hub. In my case, I had my Rocketfish webcam attached to a peripheral USB hub and it wasn't drawing enough power to operate at capacity. Therefore, Facetime was quitting on me and giving me that exact error message. Once I attached the webcam directly to my Mac USB port, problem solved. Hope that helps.

i brought a iphone 5c from ebay, when i recieve the i item its loked with i cloud, and also had a tmobile sim card in the slot...now i cant access the phone because its locked with i cloud,i do not have the owner details to contrac him....but i called to tmobile, they said this phone is not a stolen one,,thet told me to contrac apple.....is apple can unlock the icloud?
Plug your phone into the wall charger for at least 30 minutes...make sure you have a sim card in the phone...then:
Leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, iTunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. You may now release the home button. iTunes should now display that it has detected your phone in recovery mode, if not quit and reopen iTunes. If you still don’t see the recovery message repeat these steps again. iTunes will give you the option to restore from a backup or set up as new.
Make sure you have no anti-virus software running or any firewalls...turn all of that stuff off. -

Hi i have an ipad 1 32gb and i just updated it and now i cant use my wifi and i dont have a carrier and i dont want a carrier so can someone plz tell me *** is up with this i need the wifi i have restored ad reset eveything and i cant figure it out
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
• Launch Settings app
• Tap on Wi-Fi
• Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

A few months back I Dropped my iPhone 4 and I cracked my screen and now i cant unlock my phone due to touch screen not working plus there are blurred lines across the screen and I can't see anything that it displays.
Now when I try too connect my iPhone 4 to iTunes on my computer at home an error message comes up saying that I have to unlock my iPhone 4 for it to communicate to my device.
But the problem is that I can't unlock my iPhone 4 because I'm unable to see the key pad and my touch screen no longer responds when I touch it.
I just want to reset my iPhone 4 back to its Factory Settings & start all over from the beginning.
How can I unlock my iPhone 4 with iTunes on my computer or any other option you suggest me trying.
