I recently updated my iphone 3gs version 4.1 ios to 6.1.2 it is updated but in first start when it shows to connect with wifi network to activate the iphone but nothing happens my phone is useless hence untill its not activated it shows me a error that we are sorry to unable to activate the phone try later. pls help me.....
I am not sure how you can update to 6.1.2 when 6.1.3 is the latest iOS available (iOS 6.1.4 came out a day ago but is only for iphone 5)

You need to Connect to iTunes on the computer you usually Sync with and “ Restore “...

i have tried to update the iPhoto in an iMac from 2010 ( in which i have updated the OS from SnowLeopard to Mountain Lion 10.8.3) but it doesnt work,why? Is my iPhoto too old to update do i have to buy and install a new version of i Photo ?
You may need to buy the newest version from the App Store. If you cannot update via the App Store then you are using the version from a DVD. Updates for that can be downloaded from support.apple.com/downloads/.

This is usually the result of the phone being jailbroken or hacked to allow it to be unlocked.

"Check For Update" says all software is up to date --- but its not!

Your products listed are 10.6.7 ... and that IS Snow Leopard. So why do you need to buy it again.
In terms of latest updates ... Go to Systems prefs > Software update > Installed software. That will tell you what software has already been downloaded. What your computer is telling you is that all the software relating to your current OS is up to date. -
And thats what happened ... Apple please make wifi always on and.. Make it off when its on dnd mode please
Wifi is turned off due to inactivity and is turned back on when you go to use it

What year, screen size, CPU speed and amount of RAM installed in your iMac?
If your iMac is not a mid-2007 iMac model or newer, you can't install OS X 10,8 Mountain Lion.
Tthe highest OS X version that can be installed is OS X 10.7 Lion.
You need to call Apple at 1-800-MYAPPLE ask for retail software sales and tell them you want to install OS X 10,7 Lion onto your iMac. They will give you a special download code to access the OS X 10.7 Lion download from the Mac App Store.

Sounds like you actually have a 1st generation as those cannot update beyond iOS 3.1.3.

have you restarted the iPhone? if not, press and hold both the sleep and home button until screen goes black and apple logo come up, then release them. Let me know if that helped.

Unfortunately Pakistan is one of those countries where media isn't available from iTunes - when that might change we won't know (we are fellow users on here) until if/when Apple announce something.
