Iphone 5 updgraded to IOS7 and it stopped operating.
There is no default code. You use a four digit passcode you can remember.

The only thing was that, if there was an Open-Source alternative, I would take it. I didn't know much about Linux other than that it ran EXTREMELY well as a server just as FreeBSD does. iPhone 3G IOS 4.2.1 is the latest & greatest. There's no more updates for this iPhone.
You have to buy a new iPhone since most apps target IOS 6 & IOS 7. -
I have followed the directions and my iphone is not installing the iOS 7.0.2. I have the most recent version of itunes on my laptop commuter. my iphone is attached to my laptop via usb port. The laptop uses dsl not wifi. Is that my problem?
Exactly what version of iTunes are you running? And DON'T say 'the latest version'... CHECK the version number. You need to be running 11.1 or higher.

Hi I had the same problem and spent some time trying to get through to support, when I did they couldn't answer my querey but since then....
Every time a message is sent the indicator stops 90% along its journey and goes no farther?
The answer is simple, Apple don't seem to know it yet....
In Settings goto messages and right at the bottom click the 'Show Subject Field' to OFF.
The new upgrade has made a dogs dinner of this, you can leave it on, but DO NOT USE IT it prevents the messages from going and its far easier to turn the dammed thing off, it makes no difference to the content of the message.
Apple had me turning on 'Mobile Data' which was never needed in the past. and it is not necessary we will no doubt get an update 7.04 soon where it will either be fixed or discarded..

I have just updated to ios7 on my iphone and don't like the look and feel of this update. Where are all the colors and texture of all the older isos, all those white background colors,yuk. Is a way to go back to the ios6
"Unlike". iOS 7 doesnt display well on my 4S. iOS 6.1.3 should still be supported for older hardware. I think I shall me moving to Samsung Galaxy now. Was really hoping hte new iphone would get a bit larger.

I cannot turn off the asscode which I do not want on mhy ipad. I keep getting a message "iPad is disabled". Yesterday, I updated to iOS7 and was asked
to enter a 4 digit passcode and now I type in the 4 digits and the ipad will not accept it. I want to get to the settings page. Can someone help me?

If you did APple do not want to know that their upgrade has trashed your ipad
search on ios 7 ipad greek keyboard
to see other sufferers - if you had a greek keyboard then you need to set it to english/french etc
to do that you need to unlock your ipad
to unlock your ipad you need to re-set your keyboard
to do that you need a greek keboard
to get your greek keyboard back you need to unlock your ipad
and so on and son

How come whenever i plug my iPhone 5 into the computer the device will not show up on my itunes. This is the first time that i have done it since i updated to iOS7 and before i had no problem but now it just wont work.

I just updated to ios7 and do not like the redesign. I want the old design back. Has anyone found out how to restore the old appearance. I do not understand why the change. I now have to unlock my phone to be able to check my battery level because my screensaver has a light color in the upper corner and I can't read the text. I want the gray panel back.

I updated to ios7 on my iphone 4 and now cant install apps and one app says waiting for 2 days now. Also it started ading apps from my wife's phone onto my phone even though we have separate apple ids.
We do not share an apple ID and her phone is now logged in with her account and I have since backed it up on itunes under her account as well. I have turned off automatic downloads on her phone but they still keep downloading. I delete one app and then another one just appears on the phone.

nowadays have many user have problem with update to ios7 and need active with apple id maybe in the future in order escape from these problems must be stop use these products else. Because of simple user don't know about this technology and sometime just hear from other user that it 's difficult to use then force they change phone that use to handle to another.
It is a feature to discourage the theft of iPhones by making them useless if resold. It's not going anywhere. It's simple: just don't buy a phone until you make sure that the activation lock has been disabled.

They most likely got pushed to another page. Try swiping all the way from righ to left.
Also folders have mutiple pages now (used to hold 16 now only 9 per page) too. If the app was in a folder, go to that folder and try swiping to a different page inside the folder.
If not check your restrictions:
Settings > General > Restrictions
Can you find it by searching (swipe down from the middle of the screen)?
If so does it say something on the right sid of the app in the search box, if so that is the folder it is in. -
I just updated to iOS7 and an old appleid popped up. My old password is not recognized so I can't delete the account or turn off find my iphone. The old appleid is linked to an email I don't have anymore, and answers to my security ?'s aren't recognized. Is there any way I can reset my account to my new appleid? This has happened to every iphone and ipad in my family that has updated to iOS7.
