HT4623 I just updated my iPad and I am trying to set it back up but all it says is connect to iTunes

I just updated my iPad and after it restarted i can't get it back to my main screen.  It just keeps saying connect to iTunes what do I do after that.

I am having this issue now...how did you get it to work?? My ipad says connect to tunes and show a charger and the music symbol. I have connected it to my laptop and itunes is up and recognizes the ipad but nothing is happening!!!!
I cant do anything the ipad wont do anything or let me click anything!
