If you are experiencing difficulties with the connection between your stereo and device, disconnect the device, and then power cycle the stereo and your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad. When the Home screen reappears, reconnect your device. If you cannot power cycle the stereo, turn the car off and then back on to allow the stereo to power off.

I updated via my laptop and always kept the latest version on there.
I may delete my iTunes and then re-install just to make sure it is the most up to date version but I am 99% sure it is.
The update for my phone has worked...it is running off the iOS6.0.1 but just without all my old data (as I didnt back it to iCloud but iTunes instead).
Also, as of about 10 minutes ago my iTunes isn't functioning properly.
Will see if re-installing iTunes helps or not, seems like my files are gone for good though.
I am getting the iPhone 5 next week, hence my last minute rush to update all software...seems to have backfired somewhat! -

Launch the App Store. Tap on Updates. Tap Purchased. Tap Not on this phone. Do you see the missing apps? If you do you can download them. If you don't see them they were purchased or downloaded using a different Apple ID than the one your phone is currently linked with.

Check for previous backups in iTunes. Use iPhone Backup Extractor and extract contacts from iTunes backup if they exist.

Having a slight panic. I just updated my iphone 4s to the new software...was transferring my photos to my iphoto app on my macbook. I then realised that ALL of my recent photos (including albums) were no longer in my camera roll etc....
I cannot remember if I backed up before doing so (pretty sure I did) but I have tried using Wondershare Dr.Fone to recover them as well as searching my backup library on my macbook.
They MUST be somewhere?! Can anyone help??
I realised suddenly when all the recent 100s of photos on my iPhoto were blank...!

Thanks for the question. I understand you are experiencing issues after updating your iPhone to iOS 7.0.6. If you have not already done so, you may want to restart or reset the device:

I am having a problem with my email account not updating on my iphone even though it tell me I have email in my btinternet account. Has anybody experienced this and have any possible solutions?

She does not have apple care and even though she loved this device, she isn't going to buy another iPhone because of all the problems shes had with this one (it's just over a year old).
After you ruined the iPhone with DIY, Apple won't touch it anymore. You should have asked before all these had happened.
I'm an android user myself and I love rooting/flashing new ROMS, so if jailbreaking her phone or doing some kind of super-restore with 3rd party programs might help, I'm all for it-

I just updated my iphone 4s to the new ios update. My car is a sync system that connects through bluetooth. I go to my bluetooth setting to search for devices and it wont find any. I believed it to be that my car that was the problem; but my sister has the same update on her iphone and was able to connect to my car no problem. please help!!!

I just updated my iphone 4 to the new iOS 7.0.2 and now it's stuck in a screen that has a blue music button and below that itunes and below that and arrow pointing up and below that a pic of a charging cable. Help?
If you are implying that you've never synced and backed up the device, well that is simply not smart.
User's can backup their iOS devices at any time by connecting to iTunes and selecting the backup option from the Summary tab or by backing up to iCloud.
Most people will regularly backup their devices and transfer iTunes purchases to iTunes on the computer for safekeeping.
Basically, you are stating that the device has not been used as designed and now data has been lost. Sorry, that's just too bad. But at least now you know how to prevent this in the future. -
Just updated my iPhone 5 to the new IOS 7.0.6and now when I make or receive calls, the other person can't hear me. I have tried doing a hard reboot and resetting the network settings, but neither of those solved the problem. Any suggestions??
